They cleaned and inspected my chimney. Many years certification for this job. Arrived on time and thoroughly evaluated the condition of my chimney and cleaned accordingly.

Their pricing was very fair compared to two other similar businesses in the area, and their work was quite excellent.

Although we had to wait for Gary to come, it was well worth it. The company is busy because they are good and fair. I appreciated the fact that all the work that was being done was explained to me so that I would understand what was being done to the chimney. I hope to work with Gary again when we need the chimney (now fixed) cleaned.

Gary is super experienced and a real pro. Highly efficient and thorough. Next year I will call him for chimney cleaning much sooner after heating season is over: was lucky to get him scheduled now that busy season has begun.

Very quick to respond and complete work

Great job, friendly people. Final result is exactly as expected. If I had any gripe to make it would be in communication. The project took three days to complete but I was left to my own devices to figure that out. A small complaint and likely stems from how close I live to the business itself.

first of all Home Advisor should be proud of who and what they are. I've been using HA for more than 3 years now. EVERY professional I've gone with through HA has done great work. I have a fireplace insert. the back wall was cracked. Someone taking advantage of me would have replaced the 3 walls (2sides and the back). and charged a bundle. Gary saw that the 2 sides were ok and only offered to replace the back wall. His work was great. Price was reasonable. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I hired Gary and other guys came out that did not work for him. They almost did not install the insulation in our chimney... I had to ask where it was, then they went to the store and purchased it. I have a crack in my chimney because of the guys and Gary was supposed to come out and speak to me about the issue. Never came and never returned my calls. Customer service (first call) was great but getting him to return to finish the job was nonexistent.

Gary's is excellent! We are absolutely, positively 100% satisfied with the company. Customer service is beyond exceptional. In fact, we lucked out when we found them. From our initial contact with them through the actual service and final payment, they were wonderful. They sent reminders of date/time of service; were on time; checked after the service was completed to make sure we were satisfied; and even made it easy to pay them. As luck would have it, our chimney was in good shape and did not need cleaning which was a surprise to us. A hallmark of this company is their integrity and honesty...a less reputable company might have charged us for unnecessary cleaning...but not Gary's....very fair...charged us just for the inspection.....their service professional (who was absolutely wonderful too) showed us pictures of what he found demonstrating that the chimney was in good order. We highly recommend Gary's to any and all.

Gary was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, and his pricing is very fair. The service was less than expected due to him not needing to clean my chimney like I thought he would. Very honest and friendly.

RUUNNN from these people! Workers don't show when scheduled. They did not properly exhaust my stove correctly. Glad I sent pictures to the manufacturer of my pellet stove. I would not have known this was a fire hazard and not properly exhausted as shown in their manual. My barn could have burned to the ground from this Chimney service. Trying to charge me twice for installation parts they did not meet up to code with. Buyer beware!!

We have just hired them so I cannot comment on the quality of the actual workmanship but our dealings with them so far have been excellent.

Chimney sweeping barely adequate. Customer service and cleanup not so much. To begin with, they were a half-hour late. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to get a phone call, especially if we were on a tight schedule. Before they started any work, I showed them our wood stove in our living room, which is surrounded by an off-white carpet, so I asked for drop cloths around the stove where they would be walking and working. They laid down one drop cloth where they should have used at least three, and never spread it out to be of any use. Though they separated the stove pipe for cleaning, they did a sloppy job reapplying stove cement when they put it back together. I should have applied the cement myself. They also worked down our cellar using two separate openings in the chimney. They allege a down-draft caused a cloud to blow out one of the openings, covering everything in our cellar with a fine coating of soot and dust. Maybe so, but I wouldn't have had a second opening while the other guy was sweeping the chimney. BOTTOM LINE: Because their overall work and vacuum job was totally inadequate, it took us days to clean up much of the soot coating in our cellar and had to pay $175 to have professionals come in to clean our living room carpet because they left it so filthy. I would have paid twice Gary's Chimney Services price to get better results and customer service! Though Melody (on the phone) is very pleasant, we don't plan on using Gary's Chimney Services again.

Gary was very responsive, thorough and a great value. Would highly recommend him anyone.
