My home was severely damaged by Hurricane Irene in Aug 2011 and the subsequent storm Lee. I sustained roof damage which resulted in water damage to part of my ceiling and parts of two exterior walls. Visual observation made it clear that the drywall and insulation in the affected areas would have to be replaced. After the roof was replaced, I contacted several firms to get estimates for the water mitigation work. All contractors were extremely busy and some did not respond to my calls. It took two calls to PuroClean to contact them, but after the initial contact they were readily available. Mr. Gary Sigler, the lead technician, and his staff from PuroClean were always punctual and professional. In a detailed estimate of the work they proposed, they explained the drying process they would use to remove the moisture and mold that might be present. They assured me would make every effort to keep my home clean during the process and minimize the noise level of their equipment. Their estimate was slightly lower than those of other contractors I had contacted. They started the work at the agreed upon time and were very efficient in the removal of the wet drywall and insulation as well as setting up their drying equipment. This took about six hours. They returned each day afterwards for about an hour to monitor the moisture levels and adjust their equipment as needed. Upon opening the exterior walls, it was found that even the Outer Sheath Board (OSB) was severely water damaged. They said it might not be salvageable, but they would make every effort to restore it. I immediately called my insurance adjuster to inform him, since the OSB was not a part of my insurance claim. Mr. Sigler spoke with the adjuster on my behalf. My insurance company later informed me that they would require a re-inspection of my home to decide if the repair of the OSB would be covered in my claim. Mr. Sigler agreed to be present at the re-inspection to argue for inclusion of the repair of the OSB. He also told me that if he was unavailable at that time, Mr. Brad Price, the owner of PuroClean, would come in his stead. After the re-inspection the insurance adjuster agreed to recommend to his management that the repair of the OSB be added to my claim. I am sure that this was the result Mr. Sigler’s support. Mr. Sigler also recommended a general contractor, Mr. Mike Smith of Smith & Sons, Inc. to repair the OSB. Mr. Smith came to my home to inspect the damage and said that the OSB could be repaired from the inside of the house at modest cost. PuroClean left my home clean and in the best possible condition under the circumstances. A polybutylene pipe in front of our brand new town-home burst on the morning of 4th of July holiday. We contacted the PuroClean on the morning of July 6th. Brad (the owner) had his crew coming out to give us an estimate on the same afternoon. They got in touch with our insurance claim adjuster, and once the work was approved, they started their work right away. PuroClean crews are always polite and very profession. When ever I had a question, Brad can be easily reach and response to my request right away. We had a lot of problem with our insurance claim adjuster and Brad was very patient and work with us in resolving the problem. This company is very honest and straight forward, a real gem in the business where there's a lot of con-man looking to take advantage of you.

They were excellent, but they were expensive. They provided a quick response. They were very efficient. They worked till it was done. They were physically here for about 8 hours, but they left the equipment here. We had like six dehumidifiers and some other kind of equipment that they left here for a couple of days. The workers were excellent as well.

They were absolutely terrific. They came with the correct equipment. They were here promptly and quickly. They were efficient. They were pleasant to work with, cooperative and I can’t say enough good things about them. We have had waterproofing since then, but I told them I was sad that they were not coming back and I wouldn’t see them again.

They were excellent overall and very professional. They treated my home like their own. They had to remove the kitchen floor, the baseboard trim, and some walls. They caused as little damage as they could and really communicated what needed to be done. We have an infant, so they made sure to let us know when she should not be here because of the chemicals. They were always on time when they would come to check the equipment and overall did a very good job. On Saturday, the equipment stopped running, but a guy came right out and reset everything.

The washing machine on the second floor of our home overflowed while I was working in my office downstairs. By the time I realized what had happened, water had covered the floor in the laundry room, the hallway and two of our upstairs bedrooms. Our garage is below the laundry room and the ceiling had collapsed due to the weight of the water from above. This was the first time we had ever experienced anything like this in our home, so I wasn't sure quite what to do. My insurance agent recommended that I contact PuroClean. I called them immediately and I spoke directly with the owner who explained the process from start to finish and what we could expect. The crew from PuroClean arrived within 90 minutes of my call. They wore uniforms and were very professional and polite to our entire family. They surveyed the damage with me, answered my questions, and then got right to work. They worked right through the evening until their initial response was complete. Within three days, our house was back to normal. We really appreciate what PuroClean did for us and we would recommend them highly to others.
