We had a wonderful experience with JA Renovations & Home Improvement. Jairo did excellent work at our house on a variety of projects. I highly recommend him.

I purchased the deal for a handyman for a day and Mr. Aguilar did a fantastic job. He painted my downstairs bathroom, changed the light, mirror and all fixtures and changed my foyer light. I was very pleased with his work. I had a small issue that I wanted him to look like and he came and worked through it with me. Great experience.

JA Renovations showed up on time and immediately got to work. Excellent work! Excellent customer service! It was also great to see that they knew exactly what they were doing. There are certain home repair "tricks-of-the-trade" that only the professionals would know about, and they seem to know them all. There was one tough repair job that I could not figure out for weeks. Within a few minutes they had fixed my major headache issue and moved on to the next. They know construction, HVAC, electrical , and pluming very well. They went above my expectations. Since they finished early, they even asked if there were any other jobs that I needed to get done. So they fixed a few more small items that I hadn't even noticed! They are a small family owned company which is why I think they took such pride in their work. I would definitely use them again!!

I used the $149 for 3 hours handyman coupon. Prior to the work beginning I sent an email asking what I needed to purchase for the job. I received a timely response via email with pictures attached listing the items that I needed to buy. I did have some difficulty scheduling the service however. Prior to the service starting we confirmed via email the day and time that service would begin. I took off work for the day. Since they did not come during the time frame that we agreed, I called to inquiry. I was told that I was not on their schedule for that day. Thus, I had to reschedule. Outside of this inconvenience, the project went well. I would hire them again on a future project.

The owner, Jairo arrives on time, is efficient and does the work as agreed on budget. We have used the service of this company on 4 occasions and have been pleased. JA Renovations is our "go-to" general contracting company for in- home projects. We have recommended this company to our neighbor and co-worker.

I sent an email two days prior asking him what I needed to purchase for the task at hand. He responded to my email but only to confirm he would be there on statues and never answered my question. He took a lot longer than the job required and as a result was unable to complete any other tasks; perhaps because he was on the phone the entire time. Once finished he left all debris from work in yard (at least he did pile it up) didn't even bother to put in trash bags. And when I inquired if he was going to discard he said no you only paid for labor.

Jairo promptly arrived at our home and assessed our problems. He performed the work in a timely, efficient and professional manner and remedied our problems. We were very happy with the end result and the fairness in price. We will definitely recommend JA Renovations & Home Improvement to our friends and family and will certainly be calling Jairo for any future home improvement needs we might have.

Went well overall. Arrived on time, provided thoughts on how best to address the installation and door, and completed the work as planned. Had to cut two screws to mount a remote holder and in the process left some small scratches on the floor (thus the slight ding on quality). But overall good work.

Much difficulty in scheduling the services. When service was actually scheduled, was unable to be confirmed/conducted. When I called, he said I wasn't on the schedule although records indicate that I was.

re-hung doors, took down and replaced light fixtures (4), installed and hung a wall mount for my TV, replaced light switches (8) installed 3 bird feeders and reviewed future projects and gave me an estimate- all in 8 hours!

I called three times to the owner to schedule the appointment. I left a vmail with him, sent an email to setup, and finally sent a text telling him that I wanted to schedule something. After threatening a review on angie's list, he called back and then hung up. These guys are unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend relying on them to get a handyman to come over. I'll be asking for a refund so I can use a reputable company.

Jairo is amazing! Not only did he fit me in early (I was desperate to have a working sink again), but he went above all expectations and requirements to handle a difficult project to my exact request. He even stayed late! When he opened up the walls of my 1930s house, he found surprises that complicated the job but cheerfully found a solution to all of them. I have found a new go-to handyman who can handle all sorts of jobs beautifully! Highly recommended.

Excellent experience. He was on time and very professional and fast. One of the lights had individual crystals and he took the time to hang each one even though I told him it wasn't necessary and that I would do them later. He did them anyway to make sure I was completely happy. Now taking a look around to see if I need any other work done. I would definitely use his service again

He was right on time in the morning and had high standards for the quality of work that he did for us. He took real care to do the work the right way and ensure that we were happy with it, too. He clearly was skilled and knowledgeable about everything we asked of him. Worth the money to know that he'll do the job right.

Jairo put up tile in the bathroom around our bathtub. The design was somewhat complex with a dual boarder using large and small 1 inch tiles with a diagonal shape on the inside. Jairo is extremely detail oriented and ensured that each tile was placed exactly where it needed to be. He was customer service oriented, included me with various options when decisions need to be made. I also changed my mind on a couple of the tiny tile placements and Jairo happily changed their locations for me. Highly recommend Jairo for any tile work. Perfection !!

Jario is the ultimate professional. Was fast,responsive,and fixed my problem the same day I contacted him. I will definitely use his services in the future.

Jairo was INCREDIBLE! He answered immediately the first time I called and was super easy to communicate with via phone, text, and email. He made sure he understood what was needed and that the supplies required would be on hand (or he would have them). The day before he confirmed and the day of arrived right on time and got right to work. He was very efficient and easily solved even some of our more complicated handyman problems. We had a number of projects but he was totally undaunted, knocking them out steadily over the course of the day. He could handle literally any crazy project I threw at him. Very professional, high quality work and I can't wait to have him back to fix my deck and replace my sliding glass door!

He did a great job, the boards are now very stable where he put them back up. His communication is excellent and he is very skilled at his job. His pricing is very fair and reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future.

With just one day notice, Jairo came to my house early in the morning at 7 am on time as discussed earlier, we needed to accomplish?so many things in so little time. I have used him for 2 whole days, he installed kitchen cabinets, sink, garbage disposer, plumbing, faucets,?overhead microwave, kitchen counter top, he installed bathroom toilet seat, shower head, faucets in the bathroom, 3 electric outlets, 1 switch and a light,?base board for the bathroom and near the kitchen. He did not take a break and was continuously working and finished all this work in 2 days.
