Description of Work: Great work, however we committed to additional work but owner never called back after repeated attempts to schedule the additional saervice.

Description of Work: Cost consists new electrical panel ($1,199 Big Deal plus $120 for (6) additional breakers), $32 for anti-oxident coating on aluminum branch wiring, and $375 for optional recommended surge suppresor at the panel. Two men arrived on time. Both were forthcoming, friendly and expert. They didn't leave a mess and there were no surprises. The work was completed in less time than we thought. Overall, we were pleased.

Description of Work: Efficiently tackled a whole array of electrical issues from the very complex dealing with low volt. transformers, LED replacement bulbs, electronic LV dimmer, to replacing and upgrading existing switches, dimmers, & cover plates. I was very impressed that Mr. Bentz stopped by ahead of the electricians arrival to evaluate what I needed done and briefed them so they came prepared. Jeremy, the lead electrician, immediately tackled the complex issues while his apprentice Sean worked on the less complex ones so they could get through my long list of items in a timely fashion. |I was particularly impressed that Jeremy never gave up in resolving a particularly complex & challenging issue and that he had such high standards for competency and professionalism. |Then Mr. Bentz returned to the job site to make sure I was completely satisfied....a true class act.

Description of Work: Added 2 new electrical lines from main box in basement; one the first floor & another to upper floor bathroom (as before, all house bathrooms were on one line). They also reversed an incorrectly installed whole-house surge protector and added 2 grounded plugs in kitchen .

Description of Work: A representative unexpectedly arrived at my house very early in the day a week following purchase carrying a clipboard ... I had had no prior contact from Bentz ... By this time my work had been completed by another company. Bentz never called me to make an appointment or inquire regarding the service I needed. They have not contacted me again and I have not contacted them. It was my impression they dropped the ball on my Big Deal purchase so just showed up at my door. If they would like to contact me I will be happy to use their service and re-evaluate. Otherwise I would appreciate a refund.

Description of Work: Work was not done. I wanted Cat5 cabling run with heads added and contractor does not do this type of work. He was upfront with me.

Description of Work: I would definitely use Bentz Electric again. Ask for Jeremy- he is fantastic and does excellent work. We had two electricians working different bathrooms, and the quality difference between the two was astounding. John, the owner, called after the job was done to ask how it went, and thanked me for my feedback. Definitely a professional operation.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal (full day of electrical labor). We have three wall-mounted TVs and we wanted outlets/cable run from existing locations to behind the TVs. We also wanted an exterior outlet added. The arrival time was set for 8:30 for 2 electricians, Dallas and Jeremy - Dallas was there at 8:30 and Jeremy arrived a little more than 30 minutes later. They each walked through the work to be done with me when they arrived, and each explained how the wiring was going to run, etc. We are pretty home-improvement savvy so some of the explanation was excessive, but it was nice that they made sure we understood before they did the work. | |The work that was done exceeded the number of hours in the deal we purchased, but they did a good job and cleaned up as they went as well as tested everything was working. When they finished the work, they broke out the materials and additional labor hour pricing. I mentioned that I shouldn't be charged for the start time, because they weren't both there to start. I felt that the multiple pre-work walkthroughs and additional explanations cut into the work time being charged. They worked with me on what seemed reasonable. | |In the evening after they left, I found that two of the outlets (installed on the same new junction box) were not powered up. I checked the electrical panel for tripped breakers, but all looked fine. I called that evening and explained the issue, and they came back out the next day I was available to address the issue - it was the junction box and a it just needed something to be tightened).

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal, $99 for 2 Hours of Electrical Labor.I’ve called several times, and they’ve not responded. I need to get a refund.

Description of Work: The electrician arrived on time and proceeded to take care of the lone issue I had--a faulty outlet in the garage. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and replaced the faulty outlet. He found that a switch operated the outlet and rewired the outlet such that it only continued to operate the lights in the garage and not the outlet. Quality work! I would definitely call Bentz the next time I have an electrical related issue.

Description of Work: I just moved into a new house and had them install multiple ceiling fans, switches and outlets. The service was excellent. They arrived on time. They were courteous, professional and very efficient in their handling of the tasks at hand. This was not the most complicated work and normally I would have done it myself, but there were a few wrinkles that coupled with my conversations with them gave me complete confidence that they would have been easily able to handle anything that I would have thrown at them. I highly recommend this company.
