It went very well and I would use them again.

Bentz was quick to reply once I purchased the Angies List deal and was able to come out next day to install a hardwire connection for my new oven with a 3 prong outlet. In not knowing how long the installation would take (I am not an electrician), I asked that if there were additional time on the deal that I also have an outside outlet installed on my front porch. Prior to Bentz's arrival I emailed them through angies list to ask if I needed to have anything for the outlets (I have worked with handy people before who tell you the list of items so that they can get to work - and not wanting to waste anytime, I offered to gather whatever was needed). Bentz replied that he would take care of it. His scheduled arrival time was "in the afternoon" to which I replied that I would be running errands until around noon. He called at 11 and asked if he could come early, so I came home early from my errands so he could begin. To my great surprise he arrived in a personal vehicle with no equipment. He then looked at the oven and said he would need to go to his supplier and get the items for the install - which I had already offered to get earlier!! I reminded him that I had offered to pick up the items and that I did not want this to count against my time - to which he replied "don't worry". He then left for about an hour and returned. For the job, he literally pulled the wiring out of the oven and twisted it onto an electrical box that he had picked up from the store - no wall cutting or anything, just a pull and twist. This took him in total from in the door to oven pushed in about 30 minutes. I then asked him about the outdoor outlet. He said that would take some time so he would need to give me another estimate to come back at another time. He offered me a VERY high priced estimate to return to do the outside outlet - to which I asked about the remaining time on my coupon, and he said it had already been factored into the price. Based upon the angies list deal details and my remaining time on my coupon, he was estimating that it would take him over 3 hours to install an outlet. I have had several installed in my time as a homeowner, and even when things are hairy with wall boards and whatnots, it doesn't take much more than an hour or 90 minutes max. The plug for the oven works well - however it should not have cost me $125 in a "great deal" to have had it done. I paid for 2 hours of work and what I received was: cutting my errands short by an hour to race home so he could look at the wall and leave for an hour, 30 minutes of "work" and a high priced estimate for a future job with "credit" for my installation. This was flat out dishonest business dealings. Bentz electric is not honest in their dealings with the angies list coupons and I therefore could not in any good conscious recommend them to anyone else, nor would I use their services again. Spend your money elsewhere!!

Bentz showed up promptly in the AM and took about an hour to install the attic fan. John Bentz took the time to explain the working s of the attic fan and answer any questions I had regarding its operation. I highly recommend Bentz Electric.

Bentz Electric contacted me in a timely manner to set up the appointment, that went well. The day of the appointment, the crew arrived later than we expected. They had to finish a job from the prior day. Unfortunately, we were not contacted initially about this issue. When we called the owner Jon, he explained the situation and took responsibility for not contacting me via Angie's List. We had to rearrange a few things, which was a little inconvenient, but overall okay since they arrived 90 minutes after we called. Once the electricians showed up, they did quality work and were able to advise us on a few things we wanted to have done in the future and even advised us that installing an attic fan would help cool down the house when our AC wasn't kicking in. They were experienced and knowledgeable. We would definitely hire them again and ask for the same electricians.

Her crew arrived at 11:15 am and spoke to my husband who was awaiting my call to let them know when they would be coming, however, I received no call and his crew just showed up. After getting there they stated to my husband (who was on vacation which is why this day was perfect for scheduling) that they felt it may rain that they would be endangering their life if it started raining while on the roof. They wanted to reschedule. Let me state it is 11:41 and right now it is 78' and according to the hourly forecast it is a chance for an evening thunderstorm, it was not raining at 9am and it has not rain as yet. I wish I could post a picture it is a beautiful summer day! Needless to say I will pass on this company!

The electrician was 20-30 minutes late, however other than that he was very professional and courteous. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issues to me. He completed his work in an efficient, yet thorough manner.

I am scheduling for the work in June.

First appointment had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to schedule conflict on part of service provider. Provider arrived somewhat later than expected, in a street car and in street clothes; I would have expected a work truck or something that identified the person as the expected service provider. A second person arrived during his time at my home; this second person just walked into my house which surprised me in the kitchen; I would have preferred if he'd rung the doorbell or knocked on the door at least before letting himself in. The second person also was in street clothes so I don't know if this person was an employee of the company or not, but he did not stay more than a few minutes. Provider worked for four hours, provided the job as requested and will return at a later date to complete the additional four hours on another job at my house. It was not explained why the second job / final four hours could not be provided on the day the provider was there. Update 7/2/14: The remainder of my work (install electric outlet in my garage) was performed on June 20. The two men who came out (Dallas & Justin, I believe) were very polite and conscientious. They took the time to explain their work as they went, discussed problems they encountered with the construction of my garage walls and talked through solutions with me and my husband. They did a great job, cleaned up after, and replaced another socket in the garage that appeared weathered even tho that wasn't part of the job. I was very pleased with the work and changed my overall grade from a B to an A based on the remainder of the work. I would definitely use them again. The only suggestion I would make is that they invest in some t-shirts with a company logo which would help identify them as being with the company and provide a more uniform appearance among the employees.

Once the fan was installed, it fell from the ceiling two weeks later. The guy was the efor about 4-5 hours installing fan. Then he told me that the wood was compromised and added a disclaimer to my payment. I feel as though I was taken advantage of. Looking at the ceiling after the fan fell out, it does not look like it was installed properly.

I was very pleased. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They were good.

The provider arrived in the morning, though I had been told they would be coming in the afternoon. Service was quick and courteous.

The service was great and educational. They looked at some wiring issues I had and he gave me suggestions on what I need to be doing in the future.

Mr. Bentz gave me an estimate to hang 2 ceiling fans. I was not comfortable with how he wanted to do the work or the additional charges he wanted for the work. Three other Electricians told me I would need a heavy duty bracket to hang the fans, in part because of the 16' ceiling height. He disagreed. I knew there would be extra charges for the switches, etc., but $375 additional did not make sense to me. I spoke with Mr. Bentz and he agreed to cancel the purchase and said he would contact you.

The gentleman arrived on time, the scheduling was easy, and the work was done satisfactorily. Furthermore, he didn't cause any damages and cleaned up after himself which we appreciated.

It was excellent. I thought the person who did the work was outstanding and I would recommend him. He came out today and I ended up spending about $145 to have the additional work done.

My FIOS, phone, internet, and refrigerator stopped working due to a faulty circuit in the circuit breaker. It was an emergency situation and Bentz Electric was the only vendor that responded on a moments notice. He was thorough, professional and above all customer centric. I was so pleased with his work that I have scheduled more substantial work with them. I called several other vendors who, didn't return my call or couldn't come by until next Monday.

Provider promised to perform electrical inspection and never showed or called. I left a voice mail message for him and have yet to hear back...

Overall it went very well. There was a slight misunderstanding about the time of the appointment but when they were contacted they responded immediately and sent someone. They arrived in short order, were apologetic and very professional. They kept me informed as they assessed the problem and affected the repairs. I would definitely recommend them.

I told John that I needed the work as soon as possible. He agreed to come on a Saturday because that was the only time he had available. On Friday, he called and said that he could fit me in if I wanted him to. I did and he completed the work on Friday. He arrived on time, was professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up. I will call him the next time I need electrical work.

Installation went well. John Bentz showed up promptly, did a professional job as expected, and completed the replacement of two kitchen ceiling dome incandescent fixtures with two ceiling dome LED fixtures in a short amount of time. He pointed out to me the wiring leading to the light fixture near the stove area had wire insulation that was brittle and cracked due to over 40 years of exposure to heat. Nevertheless he fix this with electrical tape for now. I would recommend John Bentz electrical service to others. The two new LED fixtures cost about $30 each from Costco and the Angie List special for electrical work only cost me $99. So for about $160 I have two kitchen LED fixtures that provides more light than the old incandescent fixtures and will cost a lot less to operate: not to mention these LED fixtures will last probably 20 years.

Benz Electric was punctual and very professional.

The work was excellent and the electrician was pleasant, helpful and professional. He analyzed each of my problems and suggested practical solutions. He is already scheduled to return later this month to finish one wiring job that couldn't be completed on the day he was here.

I will say that I bought a deal from another electrician on Angies' List which turned out to be such a bad experience that I was refunded. I was a little leery this second time around but I was absolutely 100% satisfied. The electrician was very honest and professional. He hinted that the jobs we asked him to complete may have additional charges but the additional charges were very reasonable and included parts. We would definitley do business with this electrician. Very honest, shows pride in his work and works quickly. A few weeks later, everything is great. We don't wake up to the car horn beeping all night and all morning.

The owner is nice and responsive. He sent another employee, a relative, to do the actual work. They had a bit of miscommunication which resulted in me having to reschedule their visits and the cost being more than originally agreed upon. They were very clear that they would not replace or repair drywall however they ended up making additional drywall cuts because of the original light placement. I did have to pay to repair twice as many drywall holes than we agreed that he would make. Overall they were nice but slow, and a bit unorganized. Luckily I had the first handwritten invoice that they provided or I would have been charged even more.

They have been good. They put a lot of breakers in so it cost a lot more money than the original estimate. This was because we have a lot of circuits. They did a good job, but it seems unusually difficult to get hold of them. The owner seems to work from his cell phone so when I call them I may or may not get him and sometimes his mailbox is full.
