If your calling for restoration, water damage or mold your definitely not happy ! But ServiceMaster Restoration helps take away the pain and gives you the best experience under bad circumstances.
They responded quickly to my distress call and were able to get me an estimate as well as help me prepare what I needed to present to my insurance.
They fit me into the schedule and started working on my water damage problem immediately! They are knowledgeable and explained every detail of what they were going to do and how they were going to help me.
They arrived when they said they would, worked efficiently and professionally, finished when they said they would and left very little footprint. No surprises!
I would highly recommend using them for water and mold elimination issues as well as for your reconstruction needs afterwards.

Charlie Fowler, his brother Phelan, and their team were wonderful to work with. They completed mold remediation for my basement, discarded all the contents, and were able to clean everything I wanted to keep. I felt very comfortable having them in my house for a week. Charlie Fowler conducts a very professional business and was extremely responsive in all communications. His original proposal was very comprehensive and accurate; unforeseen conditions (four layers of flooring were discovered in one area, versus the expected one level, all needing demolition) necessitated one up-charge, but it was extremely reasonable. Charlie kept me posted each day of progress and any findings that were relevant. He was on-site working every day with his crew, getting as dirty as any of them. He worked well with other contractors who were brought in to consult on other phases of the project, including the rebuild. I would not hesitate to recommend Servicemaster Restoration by Fowler in the future.

My wife and I were already impressed with Charlie and Phelan Fowler based on their water remediation work in our basement in May 2014. But we also wanted to make sure we get a good value for our basement restoration work by getting five estimates. At the end of the day, we came back to the Fowler brothers because they were not only just a real pleasure to work with, but they were able to get high-quality work done at a good price. And they performed the work within a fairly short timeframe that we had requested. Their professionalism is just top-notch, and we look forward to working with them on future projects.

Having lived in the house for about two months, we did not expect the basement to receive water damage, as brand new renovation work, including fresh carpeting, was done last fall prior to our purchase. However, the 30 April storm revealed that there is a chronic water seepage issue, and our entire basement was flooded. Given the heavy demand for water remediation services in the aftermath, I reached out to 15-plus providers after one of them (Minkoff Companies) promised to come the following evening, but never showed up. Next morning, while frantically trying to act on the damage before having to wait a week or more (and being very skeptical after getting burned by Minkoff), Charlie and Phelan from ServiceMaster Restoration by Fowler happened to be available, and came to our house right on time. Throughout my interactions with them, punctuality and reliability is a theme that would be a constant with them.
Charlie and Phelan immediately got to work on tearing out the carpeting and drywall to prevent mold from developing, and they installed the heavy-duty fans and dehumidifiers to remove moisture. Given the eventually-determined seepage issue causing the standing water in the basement to take a long time to dissipate until groundwater table outside went down, out of the 7 days of equipment rental, they charged only for 2 days knowing that this incident was not covered by homeowners insurance and the subsequent restoration work would incur additional out-of-pocket costs. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture--something they absolutely did not have to do, and frankly, something another provider probably would've taken advantage of.
Overall, amid all the unreliable and unfriendly contractors/service providers out there, Charlie and Phelan were an absolute pleasure to not only work with, but to actually get to know as individuals. They have revived my faith that there are really great professionals out there that care about their customers and take pride in their craft. As we continue to rebuild the basement, we will call on ServiceMaster by Fowler once again for their help.

I wish Angie's List had an A+ rating - these guys deserve it. I came home to find my basement laundry room flooded a few inches of water seeping into the rest of the basement. After making about 15 phone calls it was clear that everyone in Montgomery County was having similar issues, as all but two companies said they couldn't get to my house until the following week. Charlie Fowler responded to my call promptly, and said he was stuck in traffic on 495 but would be able to get to me within the hour - he and his brother arrived 35 minutes later.
In the interim, I called back the other company who told me they could have someone there in a and quot;few hoursand quot; to cancel - figuring that (a) they refused to give me any specificity on who would be coming and where they were coming from, so a and quot;couple of hoursand quot; probably meant 4-5, and (b) that it was the nice thing to do since everyone who does flood repair work was obviously busy with all the rain. The company patched me through to one of their service teams and I was promptly told and quot;you're a f*ing idiot if you want to cancel, anyone who says they can get to you within an hour is just lying to you.and quot;
Well, Charlie Fowler wasn't lying - and even if he had shown up after six hours instead of 35 minutes, his customer service approach would have been worth watching even more water seep into my basement.
Charlie and his brother arrived and promptly assessed the situation, told us what needed to be done, helped us sort out insurance and billing issues and went to work. They worked until 1am the first night they arrived, answered all our questions, and consulted with us for even the most minor decisions. I don't think I have ever dealt with a more courteous, professional and competent team in the construction industry. On the second day of the job Charlie called my wife to apologize that he would be 5-10 minutes late! I have never worked with another company that even viewed 10 minutes as being late in the first place, and certainly none with the professionalism to call and apologize. Every other company in the construction industry has some form of the and quot;we'll treat your home as our ownand quot; cliche on their website, but the Fowlers actually mean it, and it shows in their work. I was so impressed that I am writing this review before the work is even complete - as I have full trust in this company (and I'm not exactly the easiest person in the world to impress, as some of my other reviews may indicate).
If you have a flood emergency, the Fowlers are the A-Team - everyone else is a far second. I just wish these guys would expand into other areas, especially general residential contractor work. I would hire them every time.

Amazing work on all phases of work (removal, repair, finish). Excellent communications. Organized professional work. Very informative and knowledgeable. I will always use Servicemaster Restoration by Fowler in the future and recommend to all my friends and neighbors.
