They did excellent work , for a very reasonable price, and were incredibly responsive to our need for quick turn-around and scheduling glitches caused by other contractors doing work in the basement. We recommend them highly.

Rich arrived on time, maybe even a couple of minutes early. That was great; most times I have to wait hours and hours for other types of service providers. He first repaired the carpet, which has been an eyesore for the last few months. He then got to work on the master bedroom and my son's room. In the master bedroom, there was a stain that a previous company tried to get out and didn't. Rich was able to get it out. He also got out the hot chocolate stain in my son's room. He then did the steps, and that was it! One big difference from my previous carpet cleaning provider is that my carpet is dry 8 hours later. The last time, the carpet was still soaking wet after 8 hours. He also provided little footies to wear while the carpet was drying, which was a nice touch. My husband came home tonight and was pleased with the cleaning job plus the fact that he protected the carpet by putting styrofoam blocks under the furniture. He also did the same for the headboard that he moved so that it wouldn't scratch the walls. I paid less for my previous service, but I am willing to pay more for a job well done. Thanks Rich!

We have just purchased a new home, and wanted everything cleaned before we moved in. I asked for an estimate via email. Within one day I was contacted by the owner Rich. He asked detailed questions on what we wanted done, got estimated room sizes, and told us about various options available. He provided a rough estimate of the cost over the phone. He then arranged to come and inspect our home and give a more detailed estimate. By the way, his final estimate was slightly lower than the original phone quote. Rich worked with us from the beginning to setup times that were appropriate to our needs. I suffer from allergies to most floral scents, and am leery of most cleaning products. He was able to use Procion products that did not leave any residue smell, which did a great job on all our off white carpeting. Rich called to remind us he was coming, brought two trucks both with machines on them to do the work faster. He had his team did the work professionally and with an eye to perfection. I have never had such a positive experience with carpet cleaning. The work was meticulous, He called two days later to talk about how the work went, and told us what had been done. I would hire him again tomorrow, and recommend him for anyone who wants an incredible job done at a very fair price.

It went well. We were able to catch it before any wood was damaged. He made sure everything was completely dry so no mold would occur, which was important to us. It was not cheap for us, since our insurance deductible is high. This company is recommended if you want to make sure your space is mold-free and free of damage.

Two employees came on 10/14 and removed ripples from several areas (correcting the work of the FIOS installers and condo employees, who installed installation around balcony doors and dining room window). They were very pleasant, efficient, did an excellent job and cleaned up after the work. I would certainly use them again. On October 19 the company owner came in with equipment and cleaned several carpets and power-washed my kitchen floor. He, also, was very pleasant, both in the initial appointment, when he described what he would do and subsequently, when he performed the work. He was efficient, quick, very likable and did an excellent job. I plan to use his services again when necessary.

Rich the owner of the company did the carpet cleaning. We had not cleaned the carpets for several years so there was about 6 years of dirt and stains built up. They are all gone. He also recommended a cleaning solution that would be good for my son who has allergies. It seems to have worked! Rich was very professional and on time. He always followed through on what he promised. He had a person who could do carpet stretching that stretched the carpets before the cleaning. We are getting a dog and will probably need to call him again in a while! We will definitely be a repeat customer.

Everything went well. They said they would follow through on concerns we had about their work, withoug charge.

He came out when he said he would come, took the time to explain what had happened and what he would need to do to treat and dry the carpet in my basement, and than reinstall it. He gave me an estimate that turned out to be higher than what he actually billed me for. Yes, he billed me for less than his estimate! And money aside, Rich is extremely professional and put me at ease that he would correct my problem and return my basement den to the condition it was before Irene. Every date that he planned to return, he made the date and time. Rich is a true professional. No one wants to find water in their basement, but if you do call Rich. You will be doing yourself a favor, believe me. Rich and his company met and exceed my expectations.

They are wonderful! Rich is particularly good with cleaning up after pets. I have a pug, and this bread isn’t the easiest to house train, so I really appreciate Rich’s thorough service. I’ll definitely continue to hire My Carpet Cleaning Service.

Rich did a very nice job. The thing I enjoyed the most is that he really went above and beyond. When returning the rug, he moved my furniture out of the way, laid the rug down, and then moved my furniture back to its proper places. Overall, I was very happy with his service.

Great attitude. Gave detailed information on the process he would utilize in cleaning. Gave various options based on my budget. Used green products. Vacuumed before cleaning, used coasters on the chairs, gave out free shoe covers. I requested for more frequent cleaning but he advised that it was not necessary unless it was an emergency. We have a large carpeted basement that was in desperate need of stretching & cleaning. Rich had his stretching crew come one day and he came to clean the next. Stretching & cleaning was done remarkably well. Rich noticed that the carpet on the stairs hadn't been stretched -- we would never have been able to tell ourselves -- and he demanded that his crew return to finish the job. All told, an excellent job and clearly someone who is proud of his work (and should be). Would definitely use him again for any job, large or small.

I had the most pleasant experience. When Rich came over for the estimate, he went over a number of house keeping tips which are really useful. He also explained in details the cleaning process and the tools he used. On the day of cleaning, he and his crew arrived on time and even brought snacks for my kids. The cleaning was done professionally and Rich even throw in extra edge cleaning at no additional cost. Overall I was very happy. Rich was courteous, professional, punctual and very honest. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent service. I was moving out of the house I was renting due to a military move and needed to have the carpets cleaned as part of the terms of my lease. After looking on Angie's List, I called this company to find out if he could schedule a cleaning around my military schedule. Service was scheduled when I needed it, he showed up when he said he would and did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet. He was able to not only explain the equipment and materials he used but also why he used them. I believe the carpets were cleaner when I left than when I moved in. I would reccommend his service to anyone without reservations.

Owner Hratch "Rich" Gakavian performed the work himself, with a helper. He obviously knows how to build a business the old fashioned way: by making customers happy. He went above and beyond to do so. A top notch professional. The carpet looks almost brand new again, which more than exceeded my expectations.

Rich was so responsive. I contacted him and he immediately came out so mold didn't set in. His attention to detail was absolutely amazing. Our basement is completely dry. He went above and beyond putting in extra filters and drying it out. He helped with the insurance company and getting them to follow through. He won't leave the premises until everything is set up perfectly. The price was competitive.

My experience was marvelous. They are very good people they will come back if you need them to do anything else. They are meticulous and careful and very very thorough.
