He was polite, professional, timely. He treated my home and furnishings with respect and was kind to my dog. He was very careful of the impact his cleaning equipment and supplies had on my home and made efforts to minimize any harm. He cleaned-up all work areas. All surfaces were cleaned as requested and old stains worked-on diligently and removed. It has been a pleasure to deal with a contractor who not only knows his trade but respects the customer and the home entrusted to him. Clean furniture, clean carpeting, clean area rugs.....what a treat.

Rich was onsite and working within a matter of hours of our call, despite the snowstorm outside. He was extremely knowledgable and transparent in what he was doing. He demonstrated the extent of the water damage and proposed the course of action to dry the damage with the minimum of disruption. His team finished the job quickly and was professional throughout the engagement, working late to accommodate our schedules. I highly recommend his services to anyone - don't bother calling anyone else.

This man is a freakin' genius! Not to mention the nicest human being on earth. I found him through Angie's list and I could not have asked for more for my money. My upholstery is like new and I have a new brush to keep cat hair off my furniture and my visitors' backsides. Rich arrived on time, after calling ahead, of course. He did not gripe about my building not having a service elevator. He cheerfully made arrangements for his portable machine and used the general entrance. He gave a full consultation before beginning his work and then took over my living room! I have a very old microfiber sectional with cat stains that now looks remarkable. Although his work is spectacular - I am never calling anyone else to clean my carpets or upholstery or floors - it's his positive attitude and stellar customer service that really puts him above the rest. Goodbye Stanley Steamer and all you other imitators. I know a good thing when I see it and I'm sticking with Rich!

I called My Carpet Cleaning due to mold growth on the carpet in the house I rent. The man who answered the phone was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My landlord ultimately went to a personal contact for mold remediation, but they were so helpful over the phone that I thought they deserved a good review.

Things went well and the floor and walls were dried out. I did have to have the little holes along the base of the floor in the laundry room repaired and repaint it. After that, Rich came back to clean the carpet. It looks brand new! Rich is amazingly dedicated to his craft and clients. He really goes above and beyond to be supportive during what is a stressful situation for the homeowner. He handles water emergencies, as well as his regular carpet cleaning contracts, but still manages to show up to get the work done that is needed. Because some of it involves a lot of equipment and steps, it is helpful to have it in writing ahead of time if you want to understand the whole process. He is pleasant and accommodating in educating his customers.

Rich was very professional, courteous, and candid about the requested work. He did a careful inspection and offered several suggestions when it became apparent that the renovation and cost was beyond what I expected. More than likely, I will use his services in the future if/when I go forward with the project.

Rich was terrific. We had a sump pump failure, causing water to seep into our finished basement. We initially thought we could handle the drying ourselves and called in Rich to evaluate. In addition to evaulating the carpeting for damage and possible salvage, he checked our walls for moisture. Thank goodness he did. It was discoverd that moisture was behind the wallboard, and most likely would have led to mold issues. Rich promptly got his crew to work removing the wet carpeting and 2' of drywall around the perimeter of our basesemt. He continued the drying process with negative air fans, and dehumidifiers. He used an anti-microbial agent to ensure no mildew growth. After the cleanup was done, he coordinated with his contractor Paul for reconstruction. Paul was also very knowledge and probably the best carpenter we had ever used. After our initial contact with the insurance company, Rich handled all the coordination of extensive paper work and photos. That in itself was hours he took upon himself to save us time. Rich also cleaned the carpeting in the rest of our house, and did a beautiful job. We highly recommend My Carpet Cleaning Services. Rich is not only professional, he is good! Our basement looks beautiful!

My carpet was disgusting due to the previous owners and Rich did a great job. He was able to squeeze us in last minute. He was friendly and very professional. Got the job down in just a few hours and even provided us with a few extra show covers since we were doing other work on the house that day. Rich was able to get up all those really nasty stains and the carpet looked amazing! I definitely recommend Rich to others and will use his services again in the future!

The owner, Rich, did a thorough cleaning of both the basement floor and the front entryway slate. We also had him apply a sealant on the entryway flooring. It looks absolutely beautiful. We will definitely use him again and recommend him highly to others.

Rich first helped us out when our basement flooded in Hurricane Sandy. He came within 24 hours and stayed until almost midnight getting the first part of the job done. He was punctual, professional, and easy to work with. He even helped us deal with our insurance company (successfully!). It was a big job, but he helped us coordinate with contractors to put our basement back together and get a sump pump installed. I was pregnant and had a toddler, and he was very responsive to my concerns about chemicals. I would recommend Rich to anybody. Then, about a year and a half later, our sump pump failed and there was water in our basement again. Luckily, this time it stayed in the unfinished part of the basement, and the carpets were fine. We called Rich to come by and make sure there was no water damage. Not only did he not charge us for the visit, but he lent us two big drying machines for free!

Rich was on time and quite professional in his carpet-cleaning process. His additional good advice on everything from patching old radiator holes in carpets to handling a water emergency was a bonus. Although he is not the least expensive cleaner we've used, he is the best in recent years. I will call him again for upholstery cleaning.

His service lived up to the very positive ratings I had previously read on Angie's List about him. During his consult visit regarding our flooring issues, he submitted suggestions for each problem area - even referring us to his wood floor specialist. Later, he delivered a dye kit so we could experiment with it for one of our problem areas. He then came promptly for the carpet care we eventually chose from his options. He was always pleasant, very knowledgeable, and helped us economically sort through a wide variety of flooring issues we had. He will always be recommended to all who ask us.

Rich is the best. He's honest, prompt, flexible and he very much cares about getting things fixed as fast as he can. He presents all the options and explains them well. He even brought a dog treat for my barking dog!

Rich is very professional. His company cleaned carpeting in two large rooms and staircases. He was able to remove some old stains, which really suprised me! I'm glad we choose the stain protectant because there is a steady flow of teenagers in our home. I am definately going to use My Carpet Cleaning Service in the future. They did a great job. I have used them twice because we had a dog that preferred to go to the bathroom inside the house. They got all the stains out because they go down and get underneath on the padding too. The person who came out really did a nice job. The pricing was not inexpensive, but it was worth it to get those really bad stains up. My advice to others is that if they have a pet this company is excellent at getting pet stains out and leaving the carpet fresh and clean. The service was good, he was on time and was very friendly and nice. I thought he provided a really good service. I have recommended him to other people. His pricing was on the higher side. He talks a lot.
