Hratch was very responsive and helpful. He was clearly concerned with getting the job done right, but also minimizing my costs. He was helpful in dealing with the insurance company. The service was professional, competent, and fair. And Hratch is a nice, pleasant person. I've already called him a second time to deal with another water issue.

There simply is no better carpet cleaning company. Rich is awesome and thorough. Other carpet I've used in the past marked up my walls, did a spotty job and were in-and-out in 30 minutes. Rich takes his time and does a professional job. He treats the job as if it were his own home. You can find cheap $99 special services out there but believe me...you get what you pay for. I'm also a real estate agent and I only recommend his company to my clients. Rich has been able to get out the most intense staining I've ever seen in carpet--ink, paint, juice, tar--even some not able to be identified! He also brought our 1940s-era bathroom tile back to life by steaming and sealing it! Hiring contractors is always a crap shoot and as a realtor, I'm used to being disappointed. Rich and My Carpet Cleaning Service are one of a small handful of contractors that I can trust and do A+ work every time.

Great. We had 4 rooms and 2 staircases cleaned. Rich does great work and the price is really reasonable.

We couldn't be happier! We had been afraid that the dark stains might prove to be permanent. But miraculously the stains are gone! Rich is patient and thorough, and didn't consider the job done until we were satisfied. We will gladly call on him again for future carpet cleaning needs.

After 17 years of DIY carpet cleaning, with less than stellar results, we decided to have the job done professionally. Screening Angie's List we settled on Rich Gakavian and MCC Services of Silver Spring. We were completely satisfied with the results. The carpet is light beige and had plenty of soiled spots so we weren't sure what to expect. However Rich was confident that he could make a difference which he surely did. The carpet looks far better than we could have imagined. And the cost was remarkably reasonable. Every aspect of the transaction was handled professionally, from the estimate to the final billing. We would not hesitate to use his services again and highly recommend him to you.

I would highly recommend this service. They were on time, considerate and careful with furniture, etc There were stains I didn’t expect to come out but they are gone! This is the 2nd time I’ve used them. Very pleased once again!

Rich arrived on time took necessary steps to protect walls etc. from hoses and other cleaning equipment brought into the house. The carpets were cleaned and look like new, I will have Rick come back next fall for our annual cleaning excellent service at a reasonable price!

I cannot send enough praise to Rich for the amazing job he did on carpets that looked like they needed to be ripped out. I have used his services for many years and never cease to be amazed at the results he gets. The man is the penultimate professional. He takes his time, making sure the job is done to HIS satisfaction-and believe me, that's higher than mine. I always know that he will do what can be done to clean a house that has bad kitties. He is not cheap, but you get WAY MORE than you pay for.

I called Rich and was able to set up a date for an estimate. He arrived and looked everything over and took the time to explain what needs to be done and what will happen. Rich used a cane with a light that indicates when he pushes the sharp end into the carpet of an old stain, if it is also stained in the padding, the light comes on. There were several spots throughout the house where the stains has gone into the padding. Rich said that once it is in the padding, the stain could come back from the padding after the carpet has been cleaned. The only other way is to replace the carpet and padding but he would do his best to get the all stains out. The linoleum tile in the kitchen was very old with stains and scratches. Rich said the scratches will not come out with the buffing but he probably could remove most of the stains and scuff marks. As for the hardwood floor, he would use a couple of different cleaners to see if it removes the stains in a sample area before cleaning it with the rest of the floor. The logistics of moving all the furniture could complicate things since there wasn't another room where we could move all the furniture out. The cleaning and finish takes at least 2 days before the furniture could be put back and 7-10 days before the rugs could be put back under the furniture. Rich and his worker came within the time window and proceeded the work on cleaning the carpet and the linoleum tile. The hardwood floor was going to wait for another time. Before their arrival, we had moved all the small furniture, boxes and appliances off the floor, vacuumed and washed the linoleum so that Rich and his worker could go to work right away. We were very pleased with their performance, the pet stains were gone and after almost a week, they have so far not reappeared. The linoleum tile was so much cleaner than I could ever expect especially around the edges where it was very difficult to clean with my steamer but they got 95% of them. After talking with Rich, we decided that the logistics of getting the hardwood floor cleaned and finished was too complicated especially around the holidays so we decided to put it off for now. Overall, I am very please and happy that I called MCC Services. Rich responded to my emails and phone calls very timely and he was also professional, cheerful, and accommodating. When we decide to have the hardwood floor done, we will definitely call Rich again.

Rich came and did the cleaning. He began by using a blue light to show up pet spots, then vacuumed, then did the cleaning. He was very thorough. When he'd finished, the carpets looked wonderful, and smelled fresh. I had 2 short flights of stairs, a long hall, a living room/dining room, and a family room cleaned. Rich also, while here, looked at my basement in order to give me an estimate on having it cleaned after water damage. He sent me his proposal that evening.

He has integrity in evaluating what needs to be done and not sell you unnecessary services. We used his service for upholstery, carpeting and area rugs. He spent time to evaluate the area rugs rolled and left after a basement flood, and advised us not to waste money by cleaning them. The finished outcome for everything he did, was amazing, with an undisputeable night and day difference. He takes pride in the final result. I highly recommend him.

Very good service, superb professionalism, friendly, prompt, and personable. This is the second time we have used this service, and I recommend it highly.

Rich arrived right on time; removed the rugs with the aid of his assistant Mark; they were both very polite and professional and worked quickly. For proper cleaning, the oriental rugs need to be taken to the shop. When he shampooed the carpets inside, that was also quick and efficient, and very very effective. The color was so vibrant after the cleaning, and the smell was gone. The orientals were returned several days later as scheduled and looked wonderful. The colors are brighter and the rugs really look beautiful. We were very very pleased and have continued to remark on how happy we are that we got Rich's company to do this work.

I called them in a panic and was instantly reassured that they would be there same day to calm my nerves and investigate the issue. I was informed throughout the entire process of what he was going to do and why he was going to do it. The project took three days to complete, but i was kept in the loop of what they would be doing of when they would be arriving. I would gladly work with them again!

The results were better than I ever expected. The carpet was old and showed lots of wear. After the cleaning, the stains are gone and it smells fresh.

The only carpet company I will hire, Rich has been here quite a few times, he is always GREAT! He had an especially challenging task this time since I let it go too long since his last visit. Would recommend 100%.
