My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Service

I cannot send enough praise to Rich for the amazing job he did on carpets that looked like they needed to be ripped out. I have used his services for many years and never cease to be amazed at the results he gets. The man is the penultimate professional. He takes his time, making sure the job is done to HIS satisfaction-and believe me, that's higher than mine. I always know that he will do what can be done to clean a house that has bad kitties. He is not cheap, but you get WAY MORE than you pay for.

I called Rich and was able to set up a date for an estimate. He arrived and looked everything over and took the time to explain what needs to be done and what will happen. Rich used a cane with a light that indicates when he pushes the sharp end into the carpet of an old stain, if it is also stained in the padding, the light comes on. There were several spots throughout the house where the stains has gone into the padding. Rich said that once it is in the padding, the stain could come back from the padding after the carpet has been cleaned. The only other way is to replace the carpet and padding but he would do his best to get the all stains out. The linoleum tile in the kitchen was very old with stains and scratches. Rich said the scratches will not come out with the buffing but he probably could remove most of the stains and scuff marks. As for the hardwood floor, he would use a couple of different cleaners to see if it removes the stains in a sample area before cleaning it with the rest of the floor. The logistics of moving all the furniture could complicate things since there wasn't another room where we could move all the furniture out. The cleaning and finish takes at least 2 days before the furniture could be put back and 7-10 days before the rugs could be put back under the furniture. Rich and his worker came within the time window and proceeded the work on cleaning the carpet and the linoleum tile. The hardwood floor was going to wait for another time. Before their arrival, we had moved all the small furniture, boxes and appliances off the floor, vacuumed and washed the linoleum so that Rich and his worker could go to work right away. We were very pleased with their performance, the pet stains were gone and after almost a week, they have so far not reappeared. The linoleum tile was so much cleaner than I could ever expect especially around the edges where it was very difficult to clean with my steamer but they got 95% of them. After talking with Rich, we decided that the logistics of getting the hardwood floor cleaned and finished was too complicated especially around the holidays so we decided to put it off for now. Overall, I am very please and happy that I called MCC Services. Rich responded to my emails and phone calls very timely and he was also professional, cheerful, and accommodating. When we decide to have the hardwood floor done, we will definitely call Rich again.

Rich arrived right on time; removed the rugs with the aid of his assistant Mark; they were both very polite and professional and worked quickly. For proper cleaning, the oriental rugs need to be taken to the shop. When he shampooed the carpets inside, that was also quick and efficient, and very very effective. The color was so vibrant after the cleaning, and the smell was gone. The orientals were returned several days later as scheduled and looked wonderful. The colors are brighter and the rugs really look beautiful. We were very very pleased and have continued to remark on how happy we are that we got Rich's company to do this work.

I called them in a panic and was instantly reassured that they would be there same day to calm my nerves and investigate the issue. I was informed throughout the entire process of what he was going to do and why he was going to do it. The project took three days to complete, but i was kept in the loop of what they would be doing of when they would be arriving. I would gladly work with them again!

The results were better than I ever expected. The carpet was old and showed lots of wear. After the cleaning, the stains are gone and it smells fresh.

The only carpet company I will hire, Rich has been here quite a few times, he is always GREAT! He had an especially challenging task this time since I let it go too long since his last visit. Would recommend 100%.

Very well, job well done on my schedule

We knew Rich from when he came to clean our carpets a couple of years ago. We called him this time following a flooding of our basement through water that had seeped through the windows during heavy rain. The water had run along the wall and soaked the carpet in the main room of the basement. Rich came promptly and took action immediately to prevent the growth of mold on the walls and the carpet. He was able to identify areas of high wetness, including areas that were not visibly wet, and by doing this, he really saved us from mold growth inside the walls. He and his crew worked tirelessly and quickly to open the walls, lift the carpet, remove the underlay, dry everything and later on, repair and make good. The work is now finished and the basement looks brand new, including the carpet, which Rich cleaned thoroughly in the end. Rich went above and beyond to accomodate our schedule, work with our insurance company and budget. His professionalism and knowledge are amazing and he is a pleasure to work with. He and his crew are very neat and have a great attitude. We highly recommend this top quality business.

Exceptional service. Rich is very pleasant and his work is top quality. RIch takes great care in setting up, protecting wooden floor, door sides, corners and any surface that may be in contact with the hose. He is also meticulous with the actual cleaning and will go over stain several times and make sure they are gone. Our carpets look new! The carpets at my parents' house, all many years old, had never been professionally cleaned. The only time they had been cleaned was a little over a year ago, when I rented a machine and tried to do it myself. It was the first time I had ever tried such an endeavor, trying to save money, and the lesson I learned was next time to call in a professional! I always choose contractors based on personal referrals and/or review ratings on reputable sites. Rich and his company was rated very highly, and I was sooooo happy I went with him. He first vacuumed thoroughly, and when he cleaned, he really focused on difficult stains, including hard to get out marks from my mother's walker, and even a recent vomit stain. (A little gross, I know, but it was kind of the final straw that motivated me to get the carpets cleaned right away.). When one product didn't get out the walker stains, Rich tried something else until he got it clean. The final result was fantastically clean carpets. And the proof of it is that I can now walk around in my white socks, and they stay CLEAN! I could never do that in the past, so always wore shoes or sandals in the house because I hated seeing how dirty my socks always got. (OK, I am a little OCD, which means I am even harder to please.). Of course, I now make everyone take their shoes off when they enter the house, so I can continue to enjoy these clean carpets! Rich also cleaned a long couch, again many years old and had never had it's upholestry cleaned. It was so filthy I considered just getting rid of the couch, but decided to give the cleaning a try. It now looks like new! I highly recommend Rich, and will use him for all my future carpet and upholestry needs.
