They absolutely refused to give me a price quote without showing up in person (including the $49 non refundable fee) even for a common service like hooking up a gas dryer. I needed it done quickly and the place that quoted me $175 couldn’t do it for three days. Len said they could come that day, so I agreed. At the end of the arrival window I got a phone call saying that everyone was busy with emergencies and they would have to reschedule for the next day. The guy showed up on time the second day and said it would be $450. I felt trapped by the $50 I already owed and the fact that he was already at my house so I agreed. He said he needed to go buy some parts (I provided new hoses but not what was needed for connecting to the exhaust vent.). I asked how much of the $450 was for parts and he said that his tablet application made it impossible for him to know that information. He said he just types in the circumstances of the job and the tablet tells him how much to charge. Okaaay. So he drove 3 blocks to Home Depot and bought the parts. The dryer is working and we haven’t passed out from gas fumes so I assume he did the work correctly. Afterwards the hoses that I had purchased at the very same Home Depot for $30 or so we’re still sitting where I had shown him they were. He said he “didn’t see” them. Instead of recalculating the amount that I owed and returning the identical product to HD himself, he said “at least you can save some money by returning those.” I’m sure he charged me much more than $30 for them, if only his super secret app would tell how much. I find their business model and pricing to be coercive and shady and I will not be hiring them again. I was going to let it go without a review but apparently they “invited me” to review them. So here you go.

My tech really explained everything and was very professional. They were punctual and did a good job.

Pretty well. They were very descriptive in describing what they were doing. They fixed a number of issues, cleaned things up.

The technician was very helpful, friendly and professional. A part needed to be ordered but he recommended some things we could do to make it work until the part came. We greatly appreciated that. He also returned promptly to install it once notified the part arrived.

Arrival at the door on time and looked and acted very professional. While working on site, the contractor took a break several times to talk to someone on the phone for about 30-45 minutes. When the job is done, we sat down at the table and he began to try to learn how to use his company's provided tablet to generate the bill (he mentioned it was the first time for him to use the tablet since his company just switched from paper to online bills). It took him a while to generate the bill but I completely understood that. What I was not happy about is when I politely mentioned the time he spent on the phone and he just flatly denied it. Well, I just felt regret about calling LEN.

This work was done approximately 3 years ago during the hottest time of the summer. The work took two days and was done in a very professional manner. I don't recall the cost but think it was around $4,000. I would use them again and certainly recommend them.

Plumber arrived on time. Work required re-routing and replacing the entire length of pipe plus both indoor valve and outdoor faucet.. All in a very cramped space. Plumber was efficient and professional.

So far his service has been excellent! He was very professional, courteous and made me feel safe. I would recommend him and use him, again.

Tech was prompt and courteous. Made the requested repairs but seemed more focused on denigrating the original installation and make of the faucets (Kitchen Pfizer; Bathroom Kohler), and recommending other changes to plumbing. Tech was in-house no longer than 2 hours. Kitchen job charge was $314. The upstairs bathroom job took less than 15 minutes, required nothing more than a screw and cleaning and we were charged $205 (discounted to $150 for having a 2nd job performed the same day). Will NEVER use Len the Plumber again!

While installing the water heater the plumber hit the main water line flooding my unit and the one below. Repairs cost $1,740 and Len the Plumber's insurance wants to only pay 2/3's of the cost. So they flood my house and want me to pay $500 of the repair. Len the Plumber never contacted me with the insurance information. I had to make all the contact. Beware.

Installation was super fast. Removed old toilet and installed the new one in about half an hour. Advanced toilet design helped make this easy. This job was way overpriced. If there were not pressing time issues, I would have cancelled upon hearing this estimate. I had used them twice before and got fair prices. I would not use again without comparing prices.

Our gas hot water heater was replaced on January 15th, and the job failed WSSC inspection twice. The issue is improper venting of the exhaust, a potential health and safety hazard. Now, 10 days after the installation, we're still waiting for the problem to get corrected. Overall the technician did a good job with the plumbing work but doesn't seem to understand the code related to the ductwork.

The hot water heater stopped working on a Friday. I was able to get Len the Plumber there on Sunday. The plumber was punctual and very courteous. Unfortunately, he confirmed what I feared; my 12 year old hot water heater had expired. But I appreciated them fitting me in to their schedule.

When I placed the call for technician to come out I specifficaly stated I had a Automatic Water Heater...and I provide serial number. Technican arrived 3 hours later then scheduled- flat tire. Arrives looks at water heater and says he would have to go pick up one from warehouse - they only stock basic type on the truck, I thought since I mentioned the make, model and type- it would be on the truck already- Not! Since it was getting late, tech says by the time he go to warehouse get the water heater, and the time it would take to do the work it would be late. So he said he would get the water heater and return at 0900 the next morning. I told him I had a 2pm appointment - (considering I expected the work to complete the day before.) He said, not a problem. At 1030 the next morning technician arrives, The water was turned off, the existing water heater was drained and taken out. About noon the technician came back in house to report- looks like he was given the wrong type of water heater!! He had to take that one back to warehouse. An hour half goes by I'm still waiting...I call the office, informed customer service, explained my water remains OFF, I have an important medical appt in 30 minites I need a status- CLUELESS. I told them I heading out to my appt. I would be back in an hour. I was told techniciain would be there at 3. At 3pm, no technician. After waiting 35 minites I called customer service again- again CLUELESS. They couldn't provide me with an update on when technicain would return to complete the job. They showed NO empathy or compassion for my situation. Before the techinicaian arrived I called customer service a 3rd time - they wanted to know if I wanted him to come back the next day. Really ??? My water is shut off, job incomplete and they want me to take another day!!! Technician eventually arrived- due to no fault of his own- the company sent him on another call. The technicain did express his concern for my water still being off, and how 2 days of my time was stolen. Again, customer service showed no compassion at all. I highly doubt I'd give them a second chance.

I previously wrote a very damning review of LTP on 09/13/2017. This review prompted the Montgomery County manager to (again) reassure me that LTP would reimburse me to cover my $1K deductible for the flooding in my basement caused by a cracked pipe resulting from a LTP repair. Lo and behold, I FINALLY received a check. So, I have changed my overall assessment of LTP to a "C." I genuinely appreciate them reimbursing me, but it took months of effort, so I cannot give an unqualified positive review. Other work that they have done for me has been good, but this one incident put a major damper on my view of them. I bear no ill will, but they really need to up their game in the area of customer service.

I think the prices were outrageous, but I don't know. I asked them to email me an invoice but they never did. My wife was home when they did the work and I think they?did something I didn't need to have done. It seems like they came out three or four times to get it unstopped. I think it was excessive. My wife was still complaining after they left.

It was fine. He came out, it was an emergency call late at night and they sent someone out and they took care of it and everything was fine. It thought they were reasonable because they came out when it was after hours and he wasn't there very long but still it was after hours, I thought it was reasonable. It was fine he did a good job we haven't had a problem with it since then. I called and they were out here, they came when they said they would be here at a certain time and they were here. He was very professional.

The job went fine, but I think $180 for less than 15 minutes of work was high.

I am pleased with the work they did. I purchased a faucet from their catalog instead of going out to purchase one on my own. There was one worker and e was very professional. I have used them before and will use them again.

The repair and installations were excellent and done efficiently. Hugo went out of his way to explain what was needed and to accommodate us.
