Len The Plumber, LLC.

Had the original scratched and damaged bathtub in my condo replaced. Got an upgrade to a 16? deep tub mostly to add a bit of value to the place. Had a difficult time finding a plumber who would do this work even using Angie's List. The one estimate I got was around $1,500 with me supplying the tub myself, doing the preparatory demolition and retiling the walls. The $605 I paid Len to have someone remove the old tub and put in the new one with the plumbing was worth every cent. I actually got a written estimate in April, which they honored 8 months later in December. The guy who came out was courteous and professional and was able to work through what was a complicated and difficult job. Keep in mind though that this is more a corporation than a plumber. I found that out when I had a simple question about the difference in depths of the tub. I was replacing a 14? tub with a 16? tub and I was wondering if there would be a problem with the overflow assembly. I was told by the guy in the home center where I bought the tub that it wouldn?t be a problem. I wanted to confirm that with the company that was actually going to do the plumbing. I called the Baltimore number on the estimate and explained myself clearly the person on the phone. After consulting with the ?service manager? told me they would have to send out a licensed plumber to take a look. This was the Friday before the Monday when I was to have the tub replaced. Were they intending to send a guy out within a day or two before they sent out the guy who would actually do the work three days later? I eventually drove down to the office address listed on the invoice and it is just that, a commercial office without a plumber in sight. I had pictures of what I was talking about and someone in the office called a plumber in the field, explained my concern and the plumber confirmed that the difference in the depth of tubs wasn?t a problem. When the guy came to install the tub, he mentioned my office visit and assured me that I was free to call him at the number he left on the original invoice. I now have a shiny new tub and am very happy with it. Keep in mind if you take this kind of project on yourself, it is a lot of work before and after the tub is put in. Give yourself a lot of time and have patience.

fExcellent. The representative was professional and skilled. Plus technician had great people customer service skillls. Both the dispatcher and the driver called to ensure location and time of arrivial. I believe I also rececieved follow up call after the jobwas completed. The tech arrived when promised.Once there, he worked quickly and efficiently. ll materials were on the truck so there was no need to comeback to complete any of the jobs. Unfortunately it was a while ago so I cannot remember all the work completed but there was lot. . Everything is still working perfectly 5 months later. That says lot.

Ran snake down basement shower drain. Within minutes the drain was cleared of clog and has been draining wekk ever since. Very happy with the results!

The plumber was prompt and courteous and professional. I have no issues with the service itself, as everything was done quickly and efficiently. The low marks are for the exorbitant fees, as the work was done within 60 minutes and the job was not difficult, but I had no idea how easy the job really was, as my husband had spent several hours the day before trying to snake out the pipe from the roof top down to the basement thinking that this may be the issue. I have since had another plumber inform me that he would have charged less than $200. for the same job. If the fees were around $300. they would have still made a lot of money and I would not feel that they took advantage of my ordeal. I guess someone has to pay for the TV advertising . . .

Sean was able to find the leak in our kitchen sink within minutes of arriving. It was a simple fix, but I didn't know what to look for. He was also able to point out where my outside water valves were so that I could turn them off.

He didn't so it right AND overcharged me. My insurance was supposed to cover part of it but since he overcharged I got stuck with the bill. The problem has still not been fixed.

First of all, I would NEVER use Len the Plumber or Roto Rooter unless it's an absolute emergency. There are plenty of other companies that can do this work much cheaper if you aren't on a strict timeline. LtP came in and identified the issue after the THIRD time we had a backup (I don't know why it took them so long). We agreed to have them replace our sewer line where they found roots inside our house (they wanted over $7,500 to replace the line to half way across our yard, where a small crack in the pipe had roots that weren't an issue). When they jackhammered the basement floor up they found that the french drains and A/C drip were going into the sewer. They took out the portion of the line with roots (good), removed our floor drain and didn't replace it, and cut the A/C drip and french drains. Then they wanted another ~3,000 to fix the issues THEY CAUSED as a "special one day only price" (did I mention that the head guy was VERY pushy). We simply did not have the money to fix this after they charged $3750 for a job that took all of 3-4 hours. Therefore, they concreted our floor up. They also left the wall a filthy mess with jagged drywall and floor tile. After HOUNDING them, they came back and straightened out the floor tile and gave us a $500 refund (which brought down the total cost of the job to a more reasonable, not astronomically expensive level as the original cost). WELL, within a month, we had a flooding basement due to the fact that they left the french drains open under our floor. They didn't even bother to reconnect them!! We also had to dump 5 gallon buckets from our A/C unit until my father rigged an inexpensive pump and tube (that cost $50) to drain into our sink. Long story short, we had JP General Construction come fix the mess Len the Plumber made, all for a reasonable $2,500. I would recommend using them over LtP.

The work was fine. They got it done pretty efficiently. They were responsive. They brought a smaller backhoe than was needed. They have been good about fixing the lawn.

It was all good. They came quickly, did a good, cleaned up after themselves and it was a reasonable price. I'm very happy with them.

Technically they were very good. They were prompt. They did a lot of things and they tried to work with me on the price. They applied some coupons and they discounted some things. Their technician was very good and he definitely knew what he was doing.

I called on a Thursday, to have toilet replaced/installed at my business, on Sunday morning. I sent them all of the information that they requested, including where to get the toilet, the sku#, a picture of the toilet, the sku and all details. I asked them if they needed anything else. I was assured that I was the first call on Sunday morning and that the plumber would come prepared with everything he needed to do the job. On Sunday morning, I left my home and traveled to my business to find that I had gotten a call at 7:30a, asking for the information on the toilet. When I called them back, I was told, that they had sent the plumber to another call, I was put in the #2 position, because customer service had not provided them with any of the information 4 DAYS previously. Not only that, but she said she would have the plumber call me and when he did, he said that he didn't think he would be able to get to me for hours and that finding the toilet would be a time consuming hunt and it could be longer. You can imagine how angry I was at how ineptly this company performed. I will NEVER use anyone recommended by Angies List again, and am cancelling my membership. This was a complete waste of time early on a Sunday morning. I run my own business and know that good customer service is tough to provide, however, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

It was a very good experience. They were quick to respond and did the job quickly. They gave me sound advice about the water pressure and the whole situation turned out very well.

They're wonderful. The man that they sent, he worked hard. I had water in the crawlspace under my house and he moved the sump pump around. He was wonderful. I had a couple of other people out before they came and they were lazy and didn't give me any solution to my problem. This guy hustled. Having had two other people come out before they came out, I was very impressed with the young man that came.

They did a good job, and they have quality material. The toilet bowl that they brought is more durable even though I believe it is more expensive. They are very prompt and service oriented.

My husband scheduled an estimate to replace a hot water heater. The driver got lost and his dispatch called my husband because the "installer" was lost. My husband explained we are not installing, just getting an estimate to replace an existing hot water heater that was still working. The plumber showed up and gave us an estimate then wanted my signature to start installation. I explained I am not installing, just getting an estimate. Then he indicated I owed him $50 for the trip fee. This trip fee is not advertised on their web page, nor did the receptionist ever mention it. We called Len The Plumber and the did not call back my husband, and they cashed the check. We would never have asked them for an estimate if we had known there was a trip fee. I contacted another plumber and they were up front and said it was a FREE estimate!! This group is SHADY!!!! Len the Plumber finally called us back and said they would refund our $50. We called again and got the same story, it is now January 2015 and we are still waiting!

It was good. He showed up, was very timely and did a good job.

Len The Plumber's service was acceptable. It wasn't as prompt as they had promised. I called it in the morning and it was some time in the afternoon when they came for the basement, there was some urgency attached to the call. I thought the price was a little steep.

The experience turned out very well. The cost was $49 to come to the house, and since it took him such a short time, he told me that he would only charge me the $49. He was a very nice person.

They did very well, and I give them the highest ratings. They do a very good, and professional job. There have been a couple of companies that other companies did in the neighborhood, and they were not as good. I would recommend them.

This company was pretty decent, and the guy that showed up was pretty good. We had a conversation that he charged me $65 for a part that was only $5, but he had to come out all the way to my house, and he offered to look at other things around the house. He was a very nice kid, and he was very honest with me. I trusted him.
