Jeff Weiner immediately identified the problem and helped me figure out whether I needed a new TV. He pointed out advantages to the cheaper option of fixing the old one: I did that, and it works great now. (Because the prices were so good, I also brought a replacement TV for an even older one in another house.)

We had a very positive experience with A-1 TV. Their customer service was very helpful in setting up the initial appointment, and they always called when the technician was about to arrive on location. The first technician, Jeff, offered a clear diagnosis of what was wrong with the set, and he laid in clear terms the available options, as well as the respective pros and cons (repairing the set vs buying a new one). We appreciated in particular the fact that Jeff was not pushy or trying to pressure us one way or the other. We opted to buy a new set from A-1 TV in the end, and they were very helpful in quickly installing the new set, as well as disposing of the old one. We certainly highly recommend A-1 TV!

Extremely well. First of all, I brought my tv in for repair and they were very efficient in the diagnosis of it. Bottom line, it was likely to cost about 50% of what a new, comparable Samsung 60 inch TV would cost. Problem was that it was very possible that it would need repair again soon. Shame on Samsung for building a lemon, but I was willing to give Samsung another chance. The repair person/owner was great. He took a lot of time to explain a number of issues to me, took the new tv out of the box and tested it out, programmed the remote and helped me load it in my car. After about an hour of trying to set it up at home, I was still issues. I called him and explained the problem. He offered to drive to my house and help out. Turns out, Samsung had included a bad connection wire, but after replacing it, we got the tv up and running and I am very pleased with it. I do not know of many companies that would provide that level of personalized service. So if your tv is having issues, go see them. If they can fix it, they will, but if they can't you will have new TV options explained to you and they will stand by those new tvs.

I then received a call from Zack who works at the repair shop and was more than helpful. He explained to me what my TV was doing and talked to me in length about my options. He was knowledgeable about TV and understanding about my circumstance. I am now planning to go to the shop to buy a TV for a fraction of what I paid for my original. Although, they did not come out to service my TV, I appreciate the time he took to talk to me about my TV. He wasn't pushy and he didn't rush me off of the phone. Everyone that I spoke to at A-1 was honest, professional and courteous. I plan to use them in the future.

Great experience all around. We received a prompt reply to our inquiry and we able to set up an appointment in our home to save the hassle of lugging our 64 inch TV to the shop. They were great about schedule, prompt, and were able to identify the issue. We are in the process of moving and the tech offered to bring a box to pack the TV in as well as find a replacement stand. We had written off the 3 year old television as garage after being told by the large chain retailer that the best thing we could do was "try to find someone willing to lug it away for free". After a replaced power supply, we are back up and running.

I was able to purchase a Smart 40" TV. This was better than the one I brought in for repairs. I immediately priced the TV I purchased from A-1 TV and saved $200 for like TV out of a local retail store. Would be doing business with them again.

The serviceman arrived on time and repaired the T.V. in an efficient and competent manner. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again. The cost was exactly as quoted on the phone.

They showed up at the agreed time and repaired the set at my home. They replaced six capacitors. The job took about 45 minutes and the charge was very close to what they estimated on the phone. They tech (Fernando) was very professional and personable.

Unfortunately, after spending 15 minutes discussing the symptoms, they advised that the repair cost would exceed the cost of a new television. Free, friendly, and very good advise. Now I have a new TV.

The service from the time I called was fast, and professional. I called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment the next day. Jeff the owner responded out and provide the best customer service I have seen in sometime. He was fast, knowledgeable, and the price was over $200.00 less then the competition. They were honest, very forthcoming with information and suggestions, and they did an awesome job.

They came 2 days after initial contact. Based on our conversation and the symptoms of the tv problems they determined it was a bad power supply. They searched for a replacement part among their suppliers and even contacted sony. The particular power supply is no longer manufactured by Sony, but sony said they could rehab it. A-1 came on a Wednesday, and by the following Tuesday, they had retrieved the part from my tv, sent it to sony, received the repaired part and returned to my home to install the fixed power supply. A-1 is professional, diligent, reliable, and speedy. They came when they promised, gave me a ballpark estimate (that was very accurate) and executed the steps just as they outlined. These are my go to guys! Cost breakout $95 for the trips to my house, $95 for tech time, $130 to repair the part. This was a fair deal for everyone.

Had a great experience. Technicians had to come to my house twice, once for evaluation and another to repair TV. Both times they arrived on time and were very friendly. They were able to accurately assess the problem (TV stopped coming on after an update), order the part (power supply), and fix the issue with ease. I thought we were going to have to buy a new TV but A-1 came to the rescue! I would definitely recommend them!
