Description of Work: Our freezer and refrigerator basically stopped working. He came and worked for almost 2.5 hours on the issues and fixed it. There was a lot of work to do and he was very pleasant.

Description of Work: This is the first review I've written for Angie's List and I didn't even have someone come out, but I just had to write to tell you how wonderful my experience was in dealing with A-1 TV. There were two telephone numbers listed on Angie's list for A-1 TV and when I received a recording on the first line because they were on the other line, I hung up and dialed the second number. It turns out it was the telephone number of the owner, Jeff. He listened patiently while I tried to explain the problem with my TV and then in a very courteous, friendly and professional manner he diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, the nature of the problem wouldn't be cost effective to repair and it was time to trade in my old TV for a new one. It's so hard to believe that someone like Jeff is still around doing business in todays day and age where everything is disposable and hurried and rushed and no one takes the time to really explain things to you. I am a senior and did so appreciate him taking the time to explain it all to me. He even went so far as to tell me how to dispose of the old TV which I really appreciated. I was worrying about how to do that as well because I am unable to lift it!! I agree with all of the other reviews wholeheartedly!! A-1 TV Sales and Repair is a wonderful resource for any of your TV problems and it was a pleasure dealing with the owner, Jeff. He was so friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and professional, especially given the fact he didn't make a dime from the telephone call; he simply helped a person in need. I highly recommend them as a business and will definitely use them in the future as well as recommend them to all of my friends.
