It was just fine. They showed up promptly. I wasn't here but they did the job and they're very efficient. Everything was cleaned up. We used them mainly because last year, we used them for our roof and doors. We were so pleased with the work they did so we decided to go with them again. We did some research. We checked Angie's List and checked the consumer's check-book and saw a lot of ratings and that was based on our experience with the work they did last year. They may be a little more expensive than some other places but the quality of the work they did was terrific. You get what you pay for.

They never returned my call. Went with Thompson Creek and very happy.

Told Champion about the impasse and after waiting about a year they refunded the FULL deposit. Stand up company and management

They were not the cheapest but we were most impressed with their supplies of siding samples and their knowledge in being able to explain the different types of siding. We feel we got our value and we can honestly say we don't have one single complaint. Very responsive with me. The workers were also very great at cleaning up everyday even though they knew they were coming back the next day.

I had some problem and they came in a year later and fixed it. I do not have problems now. They were prompt and did good work. They stood behind their work and when I had some problems, they took care of it. I was happy about that.

When I first contacted Champion in October they were extremely responsive. I had someone at my house within a few days of initial contact. Their estimate was on par with other companies I had spoken to. The reason I ultimately ended up choosing them is because their product is made of aluminum and would not require extra work once the project was complete (other companies I contacted proposed to build the screen porch out of wood which I would then have to stain on my own). I signed the contract and submitted a $4000 deposit on October 27th. At the time I was told it would be 90 days from date of contract to completion of the project and I should get drawings from the engineer in a week to 10 days. As soon as I signed the contract is when the problems started. Weeks went by and I didn't hear anything else. I contacted Champion and was told they still didn't have the drawings but would let me know when they did. Weeks turned into months and I'd contact them maybe every other week to get an update (they NEVER updated me without me contacting them first even though I was initially told the drawings would be done in less than two weeks). In December I was told the project (that was supposed to be complete by the end of January) would now be pushed to February due to weather (at that point we hadn't even had any major snow so I'm not sure what "weather" was delaying things). Fine, I understand there can be weather delays, but I didn't think that was a fair excuse to still have no drawings. I continued to ask for completed drawings and an updated timeline so I could plan for time off work when construction starts. NOTHING. At this point I felt they had taken my deposit with full intention of brushing me off till it's convenient for them to complete my project. Finally, in mid-February I was told they received the drawings from the engineer (after I contacted them asking for an update). This was now almost four months after signing the contract. I had a few very small revisions to the drawings and I let them know and again asked for a timeline for when we could start the project. That was two weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING back since. The complete lack of communication and extreme delays are completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It is now exactly four months since I signed the contract and I don't even have finalized drawings or any kind of timeline on when my project will begin. Champion really dropped the ball and I'm extremely disappointed- especially since they seemed so promising before I forked over $4,000. If Champion manages to get their act together, I will update this review. Until then, I would highly discourage anyone from hiring this company to complete a project of this size as this process has been nothing but frustration for me. **UPDATE** The day this review posted I was contacted by Champion- go figure- with yet more excuses about the weather (February 27, 2015). They FINALLY sent the completed drawings on March 3rd. I was also told my lot needed to be converted to a different type of lot in order to get the permit done. Fine, but this could have been figured out MONTHS ago when we were waiting for the weather to improve. I got the proper documentation to them only to be told on March 10th that I need to get a signature from my neighbor since the porch is on the shared fence line. The house is a rental so they are not easily accessible. Again, if I had known this MONTHS ago it could have been taken care of already. This put me back another 10 days because I had to wait for my neighbor to sign the form. I am extremely angry with Champion at this point. It has been nearly HALF A YEAR since I signed the initial contract and nothing but drawings has been accomplished. i will be demanding my money back if this project cannot be completed by the end of April. **UPDATE** It is now May 15th and the project still hasn't started and I have been informed the crews are still working on other projects. Champion finally procured the permit for our project on April 8th and said they could not begin work till April 20th. Because we were having out of town guests stay with us the first week of May, we asked that the project be completed by then. They replied this was impossible and we'd have to delay till after our guests departed, which would put us at May11th. We agreed to this because we didn't want our guests staying in the middle of a construction zone. The week before construction was scheduled to begin I contacted Champion for an update- it concerned me they did not reach out to me first (but this is par for the course with them). At this time I was told both crews were tied up with other projects and there would be an additional two week delay. This means our project will not be starting till after Memorial Day and most likely won't be done till mid-summer (IF they even start in May). Considering I signed the contract in October of LAST YEAR, it is outrageous that my project not only hasn't started but will not be complete till 8 months after the initial contract. I have worked with some bad contractors in the past, but Champion is hands down the worst I have ever come across thanks to the extreme delays and lack of communication. We plan to replace all the windows in our house, and there is no way we would ever trust Champion with our business again, and I strongly advise everyone else to look elsewhere if you value your time and sanity. **FINAL UPDATE** As of the end of May, Champion still could not provide a start date and had yet to come up with a construction plan SEVEN MONTHS after signing the contract. We did not hear any updates from Champion until May 29th when we threatened them with legal action if they could not provide a start date for construction. They insisted they could not do so because they had put a much larger project ahead of us when we had delayed to accommodate our house guests (and claimed they had informed us this would happen- which they did not). We then compiled every communication we had with them over the past 7 months and informed them they had until June 8th to provide a start date and construction plan or we would terminate the contract and get our full $4,240 deposit back. On June 1, Champion's "new manager" responded that they could not provide a start date by June 8th so they would release us from the contract and refund our deposit. So, after 7 months of complete and utter frustration, we are back to square one and must now find another contractor to complete our project. Even though it is incredibly frustrating that Champion held us up for as long as they did and we ended up with nothing, it is probably a good thing they aren't going to be touching our house. Judging by the complete lack of communication and competence they displayed, I had severe doubts they would have done a good job on the project itself. Learn from our mistake- research a company before hiring them. A quick google search for "Champion reviews" revealed that we are by far not the only ones who had this problem with the company. I recommend you stay far away from them.

It didn't go well. When they first came out, they tried to make me do my whole house when I needed six windows. My son called three times and no one ever called him back regarding financing of the windows. I'm going to have my son call one last time to find out why he hasn't heard anything yet.

Everything went fine. We were satisfied with their work, and would consider them again in the future.

Inquired about an estimate for replacement windows through their website on a weekend. Scheduled an in-home consultation for Saturday at 3PM with the customer service representative a few days later. Did not get a confirmation of the appointment via email or phone beforehand and they did not verify our address. Got a phone call at 12:30 from the salesman saying he'd like to come by early and that he'd be here by 1 PM. It was a bit inconvenient and short notice, but we agreed. When nobody showed up by 1:35 I called him back to find out that he'd knocked on the neighbor's door and was sent away. According to him, the neighbor's address was the one his office had provided. Didn't it strike him as odd that the people who had supposedly requested his presence and had just spoken to on the phone would only tell him to get lost when he arrived? He didn't call us to confirm or question what had happened. He told me that he'd contact the office and have them reschedule. Well, what happened to 3PM? Their salesman clearly doesn't want to sell windows (today at least), and we don't want to buy them from him or his company.

It worked out very well. The young man came to my home to make a presentation. He gave a great information that I needed. I've done some research before and I selected them based on his presentation. They brought the windows in. They were very careful. They put my home back the way it was. They were neat. They were very professional. I was very satisfied with their product. The windows were great. I would absolutely use them in the future.

It was good. They did what they said they would do, however, they had to cut the lock on the door which was the only bad.

They did a good job. They were professional and cleaned up after the job was done. I would use them again. Angie the roof is still leaking. Please replace this submittal with my submittal dated 5/9/15.

Champion Window of Gaithersburg offers the best price for a whole house siding job out of several estimates. My dad preferred their product as well. There was a delay in getting the materials, but once they began the workers arrived on time, knew what they were doing, and were very good about cleaning up. There was a delay in getting the shutters put up once the siding was finished. My dad had to call to push tem along with the shutters. In putting up the shutters, the siding under one window was damaged. The workers who came out to fix it showed up with the wrong color siding so couldn't do the repair. They failed to return that day, and it took several calls including a call to the general manager but the damage did get fixed. Champion proposed taking off the old wooden siding, but My dad just wanted them to cover it up. They did, and her was very happy with the results and with the company.

Very professional crew members who listened and responded to my questions and my preferences. This is the third house that i've used Champion for new windows and/or doors. Very good experience with Champion, each time.

I liked the fact that they were punctual but the price was not great.

The service went well. They did a nice job and did good work on the installation. I did have a small issue with the windows and had to them come back out to do some caulking to avoid air flow. I did not like the sales person because they were very pushy. About 4 technicians came out for the service and completed the job in about a day. I never had any problem contacting the company or scheduling the service. I thought the pricing was reasonable and the windows still look good to this day.

The service worked out very well. They were on time, professional, cleaned up well and the work is excellent. We were very pleased with the experience.

The two young men who did the work were excellent, they always listened to me and were willing to redo something. I did not like it when they would promise they would send a crew the next day to finish the work which they did three times and then no one would show up and no phone call. They estimated it would take 2-3 weeks to finish and it took 11 weeks to complete. However, the quality of their work is outstanding.

The service went very well. The technicians were very efficient, clean and orderly. They were also polite and respectful of our home. We were able to get on a payment plan for the windows and gave us some discounts as well. Two people came out for the service and completed the job in about 5 hours. Two of the windows were very long and specially made. I thought their pricing was reasonable. I had no problem scheduling the service at all.

The service went well. We initially had some problems with scheduling, but once we got every sorted out the project went smoothly. Two technicians came out for the job and completed the service in 1 day. The staff was very professional and did great work.

They did a very professionl job of installing the windows. It took them 2 days. They did more than expected adding support for the air conditioner. They cleaned everything up and were pleasant to have around. I had not made it clear that I wanted frosted glass in the bathroom, although that is what was in there. I did not notice the descrepancy while they were installing. I was given the impression by the installation supervisor that I could get that replaced with frosted but this did not happen. I made 2 phone calls checking on this. That was the only disappointment, which was partially my fault. They also said someone would be by to checkup and pick up the sign. That did not happen. I eventually threw it away. The salesman that sold me the windows was no longer with the company but they said that someone else would stop by to check. Ihad some problems with windows needing to be closing with some force but that did not last and they work well.

The company did a great job. They completed the work on time, and we love the room. They came back out when we experienced a leak during some heavy rain storms, and fixed the problem right away. We are very pleased, and have a beautiful room!

I shopped for a bow window. I interviewed eight companies. I decided on Champion. Why? They are the manufacturer. Offer the best warrantee. And the best window quality. Jim Mueller my rep was excellent. Expert in the field and home improvement, professional and accommodating (I am not easy to please). The installation crew was top notch.

They had an appointment today at 11, that they missed. There have been nothing but excuses about how they've not been able to reach me and so on. I missed a class because of this, and I'm really upset with them.
