Description of Work: We've been to Gili's twice now, and had a great experience both times. They go over what you want done and what they think is necessary at the beginning and don't try to talk you into things after the fact. They are helpful and attentive with questions and suggestions. Our car is about a year old, so we knew more or less what to expect at each visit and they did not push unnecessary service either time. They are efficient and friendly, and we will definitely be going back in future.

Description of Work: I had a Check Engine Light and needed a sensor replaced. They also suggested I update the car's computer. I agreed to the work and they called a bit later on to say my battery kept going out and they could not complete the work in a timely fashion unless I got my battery replaced as well. Because the price was $200 and because I had just had my battery tested I said I would prefer not to have it changed so I could do it myself for a lower price. As a result my service was greatly delayed because they kept calling to say they could not complete it as quickly because of my battery. | |When I went back to pick up my car finally I was told that because I did not agree to replace the battery they could not guarantee the work and I probably would not even get the car off the lot. As a precaution I drove immediately to go have my battery replaced where I usually get it done. They tested it and told me my battery was fine and they would not sell me a battery I didn't need. It has now been a year and the battery is still fine. | |The other services performed were done well, but I would not go back now due to the issue with the battery. I did not feel like I was treated respectfully and since the battery is still working I do not trust their recommendations completely.

Description of Work: They have taken care of both major maintenance and repairs items for an 03 pilot and 07 rx350 for several years now. I've gotten to know the techs and am confident in their ability to fix problems both correctly and on the first try. While Gili's is competitively priced, it does bring a peace of mind knowing that under their care your car should go 150-200k miles without any major hiccups.

Description of Work: Had to replace my Fuel pump and relay on my 2000 GMC Jimmy 4D SLT. It cost a little more due to the fact the fuel pump was rusted on and it took a bit to get it off without damaging the still good fuel line. I brought it in the day before and they looked it over while I was at work the next day. After looking it over they called around lunch to give me a quote for the work. I asked if they could send me a copy of the quote before work would start. They sent an PDF of the quote via email. After looking it over and researching usual cost of parts and labor, everything checked out and I approved the work. I usually go there for an oil change now and again, but mainly go to them when I know something is wrong with my car. They are AAA certified when I was there and may still give a 10% discount still to AAA members (DOULBE CHECK BEFORE HAND ON WEBSITE OR CALL AND ASK).

Description of Work: We brought the car that we just purchased for MD State Inspection. They found a hole in the tire that needed to be fixed in order to pass the inspection. We just brought the car to be inspected by AAA the day before so we can get a complete inspection on the car before we purchased it and AAA found all tires were in great condition. We paid them to fix the tire anyway since we couldn't waste anymore time for another inspection.
