He asked good questions to help identify exactly what was needed (the spring was broken and the cables had come off the door). He was able to have someone at my house later that same day since they happened to have another job near my house. Adam showed up on time and completed the work in less than an hour. He was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing, and answered all my questions easily. A truly outstanding company that I highly recommend.

It went great. Tech tried to solve the problem with the least expense to me, but it turned out my garage door mechanism was so old, it didn't synch with the new technology in the car, so he replaced the opener motor and gave me two new remotes, along with synching the signal with my new car.

One of my springs broke on my garage door. I called Gaithersburg Garage Door .They came out, open the garage so we can get our cars out, took measurements and said it maybe a week to get the springs because they don't stock them. They recommended to replace both of them which I did. The garage is 60 years old, 16 foot wide, and thick heavy wood. With a broken spring it took three men who were knowledgeable and professional to open it because of the weight. Once the springs came in, they called me and installed them. Made some adjustments. It works great. The office personal was pleasant to talk to as well. I will call them in the future for maintenance and if it acts up again have them replace it. I recommend them.

I bought my own springs and the service technician(Nelson) had both springs replaced in less than an hour, all for only $120.00! Nelson showed me where to lubricate the door hardware twice a year! Gaithersburg Garage Door are my go to guys for Garage door work from now on! Call them you won't be Disappointed!

When the technician didn't have the part he needed on his truck, he called every other truck to find it. When that didn't help, he went back to the office, then came all the way back out to us to make the fix rather than make us wait another day. He was great

It was a wonderful job. They came out a few weeks ahead of time to make sure it was going to be the right door. I was given a call when the door arrived and they gave me a few options for installation times. The techs gave me a call before they came and did the installation very quickly. They also explained how to maintain the door and the estimated life. They told me about my motor and how long that should last too. I now feel confident that I can maintain my door for the next several years.

Dave was courteous, on time, and professional. He came out to give us our estimate, which included an Angie's list discount. As with any job, we received an estimate from another company as well. The price difference was pretty astounding for the exact same product - same door - exact model number, same style, same installation including tracks, springs, rollers, hardware, and weatherstripping - and it was over a $700 difference in price on a $2,450 quote, with 2 years less warranty on top of that. Normally I wouldn't write a review based off of differences in price quotes, as they are usually minimal - but this difference was, as stated before, astounding - a 30% difference. The two companies did not know I was getting multiple quotes, and weren't competing with each other. Just be sure to get multiple quotes to make sure you are getting a decent value.

Work was done very well and on schedule. Cost was less than that quoted by a wholesale club’s distributor for a similar product.
