Both the project manager, who came to give an estimate, and the workers who came to install the items were punctual, efficient, informative, and friendly. The items are high quality and were expertly installed. I was given all the info I need to care for the doors and openers. Gaithersburg Garage Doors replaced every item associated with the doors. My only complaints involve to things I wasn't told. First, the openers are advertised as Internet capable. One can use a LinkMaster app and open or close the doors, tell if the doors have been left open, etc. The salesman never told us that we had to buy another accessory for it to work. Also, I told the salesman that I needed a door exactly like the one that was being replaced. Thus, I was surprised that the new doors did not have handles or a lock on the outside.

everything went well especially it was a needed call on xmas eve. Pat who came out came early and did a great job of doing the repair. whole thing about 1 hour. I have used them before and they are the best in our area in my opinion. Gabriela who scheduled the service was very prompt and cordial. the whole company is terrific

I did have some small amount of extra things done and I think I paid twice what the Big Deal was. They showed up when they said they would show up and they finished the job quickly.

Clopay garage door and Liftmaster opener were installed. Work was done carefully and professionally. The installer explained maintenance very clearly. He was courteous and cleaned up afterwards. All work was completed within the suggested time frame. I am very pleased with the results. The belt-driven opener is so quiet! This is a family-owned company with a lot of pride in its work.

From getting the estimate to the installation, everything went well. Very professional company. The installation took about 2 hours, and the new door and opener work well. The installers cleaned the area as they worked.

I found this company as advertised on the back of the church bulletin of St. Martin of Tours Church (Gaithersburg) and checked it on Angie's List, finding an "A" rating. I compared the prices of garage door openers with two other "A"-rated providers and was most satisfied with this dealer over the others. The order was placed on the phone, and an appointment was set for the following Friday with a two-hour window. The service man showed up on time, was professional and informative, offered appropriate recommendations on an unrelated door that needed cables and repair for our own safety (without overselling), and installed all the equipment appropriately and in good time. He was also most sensitive to handicap accessibility needs, positioning keypads in accessible positions (asking questions and exploring options along the way). I was so amazed how quiet the motors were, compared with another garage door I have with a somewhat noisier motor. The service person was also able to help us program a keypad with the unrelated garage door by calling customer service on our behalf and using backdoor coding and means that only providers know. I was most satisfied with Gaithersburg Garage Door and would use them for two other garage doors on which I may want openers installed on in the future.

A very professional installation that went very well. They responded quickly and without charge to correct a misalignment of the sensor that happened after the installation (my fault). Everything has performed perfectly since, now 2 1/2 years.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. I had the work done about a week after I purchased the Big Deal. The garage door repair was more extensive than the price of the Big Deal so there was an additional charge, but it was reasonable and they did a nice job. They knew what they were doing and were here right away.

We did not hear from the provider for over a week even after a prompt from Angie's List. We cancelled the deal for a provider dealing exclusively with Northern Virginia.

Tech arrived on time. Installed correctly. He even maxed out the height on the up configuration of the door to allow for more space. Recommended I kept on an eye on the springs of the garage door but by no means did he try to sell additional services. Area of garage cleaned up and he took away all trash. I would absolutely recommend Gaithersburg Garage Door again and this technician, as well, although I forgot his name.

Company representative Ryan called me and offered to come back and check again. He also mentioned that noise could be from the Opener rather than from the door. He is very cool, coordial and insisted that he wants to come and check again, even though I do not want if the noise is normal and coming from the opener. We had a good expereince when they installed our doors. I thought my Garage door is giving little noise while opening and closing, and thought I need a tuneup and lubricating. Then I saw the Angie list deal, which is not a deal actually. The appointment was quick, and the guy came in time. My wife was there and the technician does not what he supposed to do. Then my wife called me to check what we are supposed to do. When I told then he realized the Angie List deal. We did not know what he has done, and he finished everything under 30 minutes. I have still the same noise. There could be 2 reasons for this. 1. The noise is normal and I did not need any tune up in the first place. 2. The guy did not do anything good. When I did last time with regular handyman for 50$, he took atleast 1/2 hr to grease and tune up without any roller replacement.

Gaithersburg Garage Door did a flawless job with the garage door tune-up and replacement of the garage door opener motor. We recommend them highly.

We were very, very satisfied. They did a super job. It was exactly what they said would be done was done. It greatly improved our ancient garage door. I'm sure we'll get a few more years out of it thanks to that treatment. There's not too much you can do with a 30-year-old garage door but they made it sound a lot better.

I did not know there was so much to know, and so many parts to adjust, for a garage door. These guys really know their garage doors; in addition to the lubrication of the rollers and springs that I already knew about, they tightened specific screws, tested the balance, shortened the chain, and adjusted the motor on the opener. By the end of the process, our clanking noisy garage door purred like a kitten. I was skeptical at first that we really needed this treatment but it was a real education for me.

They were very accommodating to my schedule. They were on time. He was tidy and nice. He also made sure everything worked properly. He also was very efficient and methodic.

The work was performed without surprises. They arrived during the time scheduled. Everything was done in a few hours.

The technician arrived on time, worked quickly, and seems to have done a good job installing the new parts. I noticed after he left that he had not lubricated the door, which was squeaking loudly. I did not request this service. But it seems like a normal thing to do when you service a garage door. Also, I found a cigarette butt in my garden next to the driveway where the service van was parked. I don't know for sure, but I suspect he took a smoke break and threw the butt in my flowerbed.

I used Gaithersburg Garage Door at another house of mine back around 1998. I was perfectly pleased back then with the great service and friendliness that I immediately thought of them this past Sunday when my doors stopped working at a different home of mine. I called them late Monday and they came by early Tuesday morning. They were right on time, friendly and did a great job. Couldn't ask for more. Very happy with them again.
