Express Dry Carpet Cleaning

They were pretty quick. It was the deal that we found. I don't know if I would use them again because after the carpet cleaning, there was some residue left. They were good. I would use them for the duct cleaning and not the carpet cleaning.

I believe we didn't pay any extra cost. The person who came was polite and respectful of our house, and did the job and did it with what appeared to be his best average. In terms of what the actual cleaning did to remove stains from a bigger sofa, he really didn't take out a lot of stains we were hoping he would. I have a feeling these stains were just too old and permanent to come out. I don't think it was necessarily his fault. I don't know whether if we had someone come to the house to give us an estimate that if they were honest they might have said these won't come out very much that we wouldn't have done it, but of course we purchased it without having someone seeing the situation. I think they made it somewhat better. Of course our dog went right back to the couch. I don't think he would put stains on it this early but we had to keep him off because we had to air out. I don't think I can call that his fault. His stain remover solution can do just what it can do. He didn't overscrub it to try to get the stains out because that would probably raise the fabric up and it wouldn't be any better, if not worse. He did what he was supposed to do but it didn't work. The price seemed highest to me but then again anybody who would come to the house to do that is going to charge that. The question is, was it worth it? The stain is still there and I was thinking of putting a little shawl at the back of it or pillows to make the stains less noticeable. The other chair came out fine though. It was a wing chair that this fellow cleaned up. It had actually come out a little better than the large sofa. They were very responsive. They came when they were supposed to. I don't think that we thought we should call him back because I pretty much discussed with him when he agreed that he would work. He was honest. He didn't lie to us at that point. Once I do this, it's going to be great. It did get a little better but he didn't take all the stains out. It looks fine. It actually isn't that bad. We are probably moving within a few years and we'll be getting a new couch anyway, but this is fine. There was nothing that he did wrong. He came when he was supposed to come. We didn't have to wait for him. We would use him again but I'd be more careful about what we are trying to have him do and maybe talk to them about the success of the work ahead of time because that's important. It's like if there was a big hole in one of the cushions and he cleans the whole thing, and the hole is still there, then that is kind of silly. I'm not saying this is the situation here but this is a matter of setting my expectations to them. If someone had come out and say they can clean it but knowing this type of fabric and how old the stains are, there's a good chance they won't change too much when they clean it, I would approve a little bit. It's better looking than before they cleaned it but there were stains in it that didn't really come out. I don't think that anybody gave us false advertising. No one said they would take out anything, don't worry about it. That's not what happened. It wouldn't be fair to blame someone who didn't trick us. There was no deception.

They did a great job. showed up on time. The gentleman was professional, courteous and did a great job. Carpet looks like new.

I called a couple of upholstery cleaners and settled on Express Dry Carpet because of cost (they were the lowest) and availability (they were available the next day). Nabil called just prior to his scheduled time to keep us informed then arrived within the agreed upon window to do the cleaning. He took about one hour to assess and then clean our three pieces. He asked questions about our preferences and his limitations then efficiently and effectively completed the work. When he was done and later as things finished drying, his work looked great! We would definitely use Express Dry Carpet again for upholstery or carpet cleaning work.

I purchased a deal to have my vents and air ducts cleaned in my home for $199 about a week ago. I called and scheduled an appointment without issue shortly after purchasing. 24 hours prior to the appointment I received a call from the company stating that whoever took my information over the phone had me down as living in Gainesville Georgia, I informed them I lived in Gainesville, VA. The woman on the phone was polite and stated that where I was located was just outside of their service area but since it was their mistake she assured me that it would not be a problem and they would come complete the work as planned and scheduled. The next morning (the morning of the scheduled service) the technician called me and informed me that I was outside of his service area and he would not be coming to do the work. I let him know I had spoken the company the day prior and they assured me that the work would be completed because the mistake was on their end, he responded by flat out telling me "no" he would not be coming out. Absolutely terribly run company, I cannot speak on their work but just dealing with the office was unbelievable.

We are prepping our house for resale and we had an Angies List provider pull up carpet and refinish the floors. Although the hardwood refinishes were well rated and they said that they were "dustless" they did a crappy job and spewed dust everywhere!!! = floors, walls, ceiling, return air vents etc. What a mess!! We went through dozens of swifter refills just wiping down the floors, ceiling and walls. We spent days struggling to clean it up and knew we had to also have all the vents cleaned now so we called Express Dry Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning who were very responsive. On top of it all we have family coming in a few days so were anxious to get it done as soon as possible. They were able to schedule us the same day we called! The 2 men who arrived were very nice, careful and did a great job. They got a tremendous amount of dust and debris from the vents.

Used them before, will use again!

Overnight I discovered that the carpet in my guest room was damp and mold was beginning to grow on the bottom of the carpet padding. The carpet smelled like mold. I had guests arriving that day and needed to resolve the situation quickly. I called first thing in the morning and spoke to Shouki, the company's owner. He offered to send a team out that afternoon to pull out the wet padding and set up blowers to dry the carpet, but I needed it completely resolved that day. I was willing to help get things started, so that morning by 9:30am he provided me with a blower which I set up and I tore out the wet padding myself. He also gave me some pointers on where and how to buy new padding. By the time his guys arrived that afternoon the carpet was dry, so they replaced the padding, put the carpet back down, and cleaned it. By the time my guests arrived that evening everything had been dried, cleaned, restored, and smelled like new. I am grateful to Shouki for helping me get this resolved so quickly.

Mr. Nabil did an excellent job cleaning these areas. He was prompt and he was very courteous. Thanks for a job well done!

It went beautifully! The team was initially supposed to come to my home on 6/6/2015 but I had to reschedule to 6/8/2015. I got a call from one of the gentleman on 6/8/2015 who advised that they could come out earlier but I insisted they come after 1 p.m. Cederic and Nabil came after 1 p.m. and, wow, what a job they did. Cederic and Nabil explained what the cleaning/deodorizing process involved, and then they got down to it. The chair/ottoman combination that they cleaned had been a favorite haunt for my beloved cat; but they managed to bring that seating unit back to life. The carpet and upholstery cleaning was fantastic. The gentleman were professional and courteous. For me, the cost was well worth it and I will be using Express Dry Carpet again.

Providers were on time and worked quickly with no issues.

At $130, I expected more than 15 minutes of service. Also, they do not steam clean, they spray a watered-down chemical on the carpet and basically "buff" the carpet. I expect all the stains to come back within the year as they were not really cleaned like a good steam clean would provide. Sure they look good now, but for the price, it was a waste of money knowing that they will likely need another cleaning within a year. Laying on the carpet now, it feels rougher than before and it is a bit sticky. Not sure I want my infant crawling on it. For our 200 sq ft carpet, we had to pay for a "Deep Cleaning for Heavily Solied Carpets - Max 450 sq ft" at $129.95, which wasn't any different from an "Any two areas and a hall [max 450 sq ft] for $89.95). All for a carpet that basically had some minor little stains on the carpet. No pet urine stains or anything serious (carpet is only 3 years old and has a 25 year warranty, including stain-master built-in). The big "Deep Cleaning" difference was the fact that someone actually sprayed the stains with a different solution and spent a total of 2 minutes scrubbing the 8-10 dime-to-quarter sized mild stains with a heavy duty $3 floor brush from Home Depot. Express Dry Carpet were quick to provide service and very nice, but I wouldn't use them again. The main technician made it seem like they were really going to have to work on the stains and they had to put no effort into it.

All carpets cleaned were done very well - furniture moved when able/needed and we were happy with the result. Would use them again.

How'd it go? Not so great. Techs got lost, and had to call my partner for directions (not his skill-set, as he doesn't drive). As a result, they were moderately rude to him when they finally arrived. We have a very easy, GPS-able address, right across the street from a Metro station. More to the point, I'd let the company know up front that there were some stains that would need treatment, informed them of the nature of the stain and asked if it was realistic to expect them to be removed - I was assured they would be. This wasn't done, and the spots remained after cleaning. Contacted the company, and they offered to come back out for a second attempt, and assured me again they could make it right. FIne, fair enough. So, rather than make my partner deal with them, I scheduled time off from work. The day before, they called in the late afternoon, and said they would not be keeping the appointment. At that point, I was a) in a meeting, and b) kinda done with them, so I said "Okay, that's fine" fairly tersely, and hung up. They then called back. I explained they were interrupting a meeting and I really couldn't speak with them then. That's the last I've heard, and it's now been a week.

Express Dry Carpet was very prompt and the cleaning service didn't take very long. I guess that is because my carpets weren't too dirty! Carpet technicians Nabil and Cederic were very professional. They asked me to inspect their work to ensure I was satisfied. The work was excellent. The last time I had my carpets cleaned the company used water, which was a time consuming process. Moreover, my carpet stayed damp for most of the day. The dry cleaning method used by Express Dry Carpet was much faster. Although they don't use water, my carpet still looks clean. I would recommend the company and particularly the technicians, Cedric and Nabil.
