Description of Work: It was great. We ran into many speed bumps with the approval because of other houses owned and taxes and they were able to get us through everything.

Description of Work: When all was said and done, everything with my mortgage worked out. I was happy with the interest rate, etc. However, along the way I feel there were some unnecessary glitches. For example, the day before closing it was discovered that the property needed an insect inspection. While Apex did in fact arrange it in time and all worked out ok, it was a last minute issue that could have been avoided. Also along the way, some of my paperwork/documents had been misplaced by Apex. I was literally in the throes of moving and most of our official documents were already packed. We had to tear through boxes to find the documents requested, and we'd already sent them to Apex weeks earlier. These glitches were really nothing major, but truly they could have been avoided and they caused some unnecessary stress.....we were literally in the process of moving and had things gone a little smoother (documents not being misplaced, not having to resubmit them) it would have been a much less stressful move. Also, as I recall we got three or four reimbursement checks either at or well after closing. While it was great to get unexpected money back, I couldn't help but think that there had been some significant miscalculation prior to closing. My wife and I felt at the time that since it was a relatively small mortgage, we hadn't been assigned a very high priority within the company. As I have already said, it all worked out ok in the end, good interest rate, nice people, but some unnecessary glitches made our move and home purchase a little dicier than it should have been.

We finally got out from under that M&T equity loan that M&T wouldn't let us refinance. We have $500 more per month cash flow. Description of Work: We have our home financed through Apex. They are very easy to work with and are small enough to review your data against the current market. At one point they recommended that we refi to save money. Of course the get their cut and I do not remember how much their cut was but it was less than many other home financing groups. The paperwork was filled out before we arrived and ready for signatures. Apex has been great to work with!
