I'm very pleased with the work that was done. Antonio and Jose worked hard each day. When issues arose -- ceiling fan extender too short, lighting questions, etc. -- they were very helpful, offering suggestions. They cleaned up each day and finished the project in the estimated time. I would highly recommend Beautiful Home Services.

Initially, we were pleased with the job. The work crew worked with me to complete the unique touches endemic with a rehab. They completed the job in a bit less than 4 days. Upon detailed inspection, we found that the crew had been quite sloppy. Although we told them that we were buying new carpet and not to worry if spackle or paint dripped on the carpet, they apparently didn't use drop cloths anywhere except over the sofa and loveseat that were too large to move out of the room. We found splatter on the windows and doors, tile floors in the foyer and adjoining laundry room, and fireplace brick. Most disconcerting, we found paint and spackle on a cloth loveseat where, apparently, it had come partially uncovered when moved. Finally, they reinstalled the ceiling light fixtures while the primer was still wet, so that when we lowered them to paint the ceiling two days later, the foil and insulation inside the light fixture was stuck to the ceiling, and when removed, pulled the primer off with it. To their credit, they bent over backward to make things right. They sent a different crew to not only repair the damaged ceiling, but to fully paint the ceiling and walls with my paint, thus saving me several days labor. The finished product met our expectations. Finally, they sent me a check that more than covered the expense of having the loveseat professionally cleaned.

Beautiful Home Services made our living room/foyer/hallway/master bedroom look beautiful. They did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. They started and finished on time, worked hard, and cleaned up nicely when the job was done. They subsequently came back quickly to fix a couple of small problems and cheerfully offered to come back again if we found any other concerns. There were some minor miscommunication issues that were addressed satisfactorily. Everyone I dealt with from this company was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My wife and I will highly recommend their services in the future. Great company!

When we first moved into our home, we realized that the refrigerator needed to be replaced. However, the previous owner had installed a floor over the original floor, raising the floor by two inches. This limited our options for a new refrigerator. The floor was in need of repair, so we incorporated the floor project with some minor renovations to accommodate the new refrigerator. In addition, we had the powder room updated, the lights updated, and the walls painted. Andrew, Craig and their team were diligent in making sure all of the work was done professionally, and correctly. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. We have used Beautiful Home Services for a variety of projects since we bought our home, and have never been disappointed.

Andrew and his crew were wonderful. They arrived on time and were very professional. Their attention to detail and work was great. We will definitely use their services again in the future.

I was pushing the calendar with this job, but wanted to get it in during 2015 as I was also contracting to have my windows and siding replaced in early 2016. Alex came out promptly to do an estimate and they had a crew out in no time and was able to wrap it up before December. Jose, the crew chief was great to work with and extremely responsive. Matching the correct shade of stain on the cedar shingles was challenging, but he didn't give up and it turned out better than we had expected. Overall, a very satisfying experience and I would definitely use this company again.

After meeting with various contractors and getting less than satisfactory responses (sometimes no response at all), we were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism shown by Andrew, Craig and the rest of the Beautiful Homes team. Emails were responded to and phone calls were returned very promptly, they provided us with all the necessary information and were very patient with us when dealing with all the red tape and frustrations of having work done in a condominium. The cost was less than we thought it would be, the work was completed on time and the overall quality is outstanding. Highly recommend!

After getting several estimates from local contractors we decided on Beautiful Home Services. We couldn't have been more pleased. We had a storage basement that we wanted to convert into two rooms, a utility room and a n entertainment/living space room. Andrew and Craig came up with a great plan to not only separate the spaces but include tons of storage space that we lost by doing the remodel. Craig was always available to discuss any concerns we had and his team of electricians and construction crew was always on time and performed the work in a professional and efficient manner. The project was on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Beautiful Home Services to anyone looking for a contractor for a home improvement project.

I had a water pipe leak due to my negligence because I didn't open the vacuum breaker of one of the hose bibbs; however, I followed all of the correct steps with the other hose bibb, and no leaks there. The only work that really had to be done after the leak was repaired was to have a couple of small pieces of drywall replaced and to replace a few pieces of insulation. But I decided to do what I have been wanting to do for years: Get my garage looking pretty. I checked extensively on the internet (including Angie's List) for reviews on many different companies. Because the services I needed fell into a few categories, I wanted a company that could handle and oversee everything that I needed to have done. Beautiful Home Services was the only company that stood out among all of the others, at least in my opinion. The reviews are incredible! Andrew gave me the estimate. I told him I wanted the garage to look "pretty." He said on a scale of 1 to 10 that it would be an 8. I realized that it was just a garage, but it is MY garage. The end result was ABOVE 10!!!! They did an absolutely amazing job! The crew is fantastic; they are capable, hard-working, nice, courteous, etc., etc. This crew knows what they are doing and knows what kind of service and results the homeowner wants. Although the homeowner is the ultimate supervisor, this is the first time I have ever hired a contractor whereby my supervision was not needed; I felt very comfortable from the very first moment. I stayed completely out of their way. I didn't need to watch their every move to make sure they were doing the job the way they were supposed to. Jose #1 arrived to help me pick the paint. Antonio seemed to be the supervisor & one of the workers; Osmin was another worker, and Jose #2 another worker. They all made the project move smoothly. They really did do an amazing job. Andrew told me that there would be a lot of dust, but I already was prepared for that because sanding spackling is messy, and it tracks. My black asphalt driveway was covered in white footprints; however, the rain easily and quickly removed the spackling from the driveway. When I checked the work progress every night, I covered my shoes with food storage plastic bags--definitely do that. I didn't expect such a thorough clean-up job after they were finished; absolutely no dust anywhere. In fact, the garage and the items I had to leave in the garage during this renovation project were cleaner than they were before the work was started. I'm just overwhelmed with amazement regarding the entire project. I have other projects in my house that are long overdue, and I will be hiring Beautiful Home Services again without a doubt. Thanks to Andrew, Jose #1, Antonio, Osmin,and Jose #2. And to Toni (Andrew Blate's mother) who scheduled my first appointment. Andrew jokingly said that if I wasn't happy with the job, I could call his mother.

Great. Very pleased with the work performed. No surprises, very professional and courteous staff, both management and the painters. We had to wait for good weather to begin the job, but once it started there were no hitches. We have a historic townhome which we are very proud of maintaining. First Andrew and Blake (management) came by to go over the work which would be performed. Then the crew foreman came by to go over color selection, noting we made it clear we wanted an exact color match to our old color. Also we wanted to ensure the crew understood we wanted to protect our garden and our neighbors property during the length of the job. The color match was spot on. Every day the crew would ask me to step outside before they began their next step -from sanding to primer to first coat to second coat. During this whole process the project manager, Craig would stop by to make sure we were satisfied with the job on that day. The property was cleaned every day before they left for the day. The crew was very courteous every step of the way. The garden looks great, the neighbors property is good, and our home looks fresh. In short Beautiful Home Services did a fantastic job. Very pleased, would recommend them highly.

The company was on time for both the estimate and when performing the painting services. They originally expected it to take three days however they were able to accomplish all the work ahead of schedule and finish in two days. They did a great job, the painters were professional and after completing their work they cleaned up.

Beautiful Home Services, Andrew Blate, (owner), Craig Schneibel, (project manager) and their crew again did an excellent and professional job. Crew showed up right on time. They were all professional, polite and courteous and knowledgeable. This is the third project that they have performed for me. After my first project, complete remodel of my rec room, (their estimate was lower than three or four other estimates. The quality of their work is superb. After an outstanding job on my rec room, I did not even consider getting an estimate from anybody else for this third project. I give them an A rating in all categories. One of the reasons that I called them initially was because of all of the A ratings on Angie's List. You can feel good about having such a first class outfit as a part of Angie's List. I recommend them to anybody who wants a fair and lower price than the competition as well top flight craftsmanship.

Beautiful Home Services provided premium quality work at a competitive price. I am very pleased with the job Beautiful Home Services just completed for me. They met every expectation that I had, and exceeded on a few. Mine was a slightly unique project. Of all the contractors that came in, Andrew Blate listened the most carefully and attentively. He and Craig really understood what I wanted and were very communicative throughout the job. They were responsive and reliable, and suggested a few solutions that had not occurred to me (and I know a bit about construction). There were no price mark-ups for any construction materials. The crew cleaned up at the end of every day, and in the end, left some areas cleaner than before the job started. They even touched up a few simple pre-existing flaws that were unexpected ? very detail oriented. Years ago they repaired my previous property, remediating $14,000 of flood damage. I found them on Angie?s List with the highest ratings. Years later they continue to have the highest ratings, and continue to produce high quality work. I think part of their appeal and success is based on their ability to really listen to your needs; and their willingness to explain solutions in detail. My confidence in BHS increased as the project proceeded. The whole team exhibited solid professionalism and great craftsmanship. Both projects have been very positive experiences. They did an excellent job - twice. I highly recommend them.

The company did a pretty good job, marred however by an oversight at the beginning of the job which affected the rest of the work. We chose Beautiful Home Services after speaking with and getting bids from a total of 3 contractors. We were favorably impressed by their references and seeming commitment to please customers. They were able to start work in a timely manner and were flexible with scheduling when necessary, as we were also having other work done (windows and gutters replaced). Two painters/carpenters were detailed to our job and were very conscientious about their work. The big problem was that on the first day of the job, the painters showed up only with white caulk. As the siding on our house is tan/beige, this was not a very good match. I was somewhat surprised that the supervisor had not sent them out with appropriately colored caulk, such as almond. I should have insisted that the right color caulk be provided, but I allowed the crew to convince me that the white caulk would be OK and they would paint over it. Bad call! Throughout the job, where everything else was done very attractively, the painted over white caulking would be a sore point. I think it is a case of poor communication and oversight of the crew by the supervisor. The other cause of dissatisfaction was in replacing a gable vent. It seemed that the correct size gable vent could only be obtained from one supplier, which took over a week...then we were told that the wrong part had been shipped, so another week before the correct one could be obtained. This held up the completion of the job, and the gable vent which had been removed was covered by a plastic tarp, until I pointed out that we were expecting storms; then they nailed up plywood over the opening. In the end, we were very satisfied with the work, but just thought there was way more hassle and time than should have been necessary.

Beautiful Home Services had done a small job for me several years ago with which I was very satisfied, so when I decided I couldn't stand looking at the front of our townhouse any more, I gave them a call. Andrew Blate came to give an estimate and told me what needed to be done to make things look good, and also pointed out some that damage I hadn't noticed. On the day of the work the crew came on time, and Andrew also came by to make sure everything was going well. All the work was done as described and within the estimated time frame. The team was pleasant to work with and clearly paid a great deal of attention to detail. The results are outstanding - my doorway looks beautiful. I am very happy with the services provided, and have contracted with the company to do some interior painting and to remodel the basement and laundry room. Based on my experience I feel confident that the work they do in my house will be outstanding. I highly recommend Beautiful Home Services.

They are great. They are timely. There is no gimmicky stuff. The pricing is what is is. And they work with you around the combinations and things of that nature. I got their name from somebody else and once I've used them, I've used them for other things. I always had a good experience.

Both owners Andrew Blate and Craig Schneibolk were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the results are amazing. These two are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and responsible. My house was way overdue in needed repairs and painting. The deteriorated wood and other parts were expertly repaired. The quality painting job was done right. Craig went the extra mile to make sure everything was followed up on. If you want your house repaired and painted right, at a very reasonable price, Beautiful Home Services is your obvious choice.

We contacted Beautiful Home Services after a previous contractor completely botched up the job of installing a kitchen backsplash. We found the company company here on Angie's list and asked them to fix it. The service was outstanding from obtaining the quote to the final payment. Alex, the supervisor, and his partner arrived exactly on time each day. They were very meticulous and respectful throughout the process. They had to get the old tiles of the wall and repair it before they could start tiling. Once they started tiling I could tell that they were in a different league to the previous contractor. They took their time, measured and re-measured and cleaned up beautifully each day before they left. I will definitely use Beautiful Home Services again for future projects.

We were very pleased with their performance and strongly recommend them. It was a pleasure working with the owners and the daily crew. They were professional, arrived when they said they would, did not pack up at a set time but rather worked until they finished a room, and completed the entire project in less time than they had estimated. They thoroughly cleaned up each day and worked around our schedule when we worked from home. One of the strong points for me was their attention to detail. One morning, I noticed a small imperfection in a room they had painted the day before. When I mentioned it to the on-the-job manager, he asked to see it. We got to the room only to find that the area had already been "blue taped' indicating that it would need a touch up. The room is now perfect!

Andrew the owner/estimator was great in that he fit us in quickly so that we could get the office furniture out of our garage. The crew did a very good job, and were professional and courteous. The price was a little on the high side for one room, but I was willing to pay it given our time constraints and my prior experience with this company. I would recommend BHS.

We had a great experience with Beautiful Home Services. One of the owners, Andrew Blate, was incredibly responsive and helpful in getting us an estimate and scheduling our job. We were able to begin the job within about two weeks of signing the contract, which was a huge help. We had had a previous contractor cancel on us at the last minute, so we had a bunch of paint and supplies already, and we were ready to have this work completed. All of our experiences with Andrew and the BHS team prior to the work beginning were incredibly pleasant and easy, and made us feel very confident that they would complete the work well, and on time. The workmen who came to our house were professional, kind, and thorough. My husband was very impressed with their attention to detail. We were having a bike rack hung in the ceiling above our stairs, and they installed extra support within the ceiling to ensure that it would be secure. They said it could even hold a motorcycle! My husband works from home, and the workers were very considerate of that, and went out of their way to avoid disturbing him. They also cleaned up each night and ended up leaving the house cleaner than when they'd arrived! The work that they did turned out really well. We had a lot of dings in the wall and scraped drywall, and they fixed everything up like new. We will absolutely hire BHS for our next home improvement project.

Andrew, one of the owners, came out to give me an estimate. I was having laundry room pipes opened back up. The plumbers broke through the plaster, leaving a large hole exposing the pipes. BHS fit me into their schedule so that they came after the electrician and before the new washer and dryer were delivered. Luis and Jason did a great job. I have plaster walls and Luis made it look seamless. The guys came on time and cleaned up before they left. Thanks again for a great job.

We were introduced to Beautiful Homes by a friend who had used them previously for work done in her home. I cannot say enough good things about the crew at Beautiful Homes. Our family was under a time crunch between closing and moving into our new home. It was a fairly sized home with vaulted ceilings and several built built-in bookcases - so a large scale and moderately complex paint job. I had gotten quotes from various providers that required at least THREE weeks to get it all done. Beautiful Homes initially quoted me two weeks. However, they got it done within a WEEK and this was during the holidays. They started literally two days before Christmas and finished before our moved in date of 12/28. This was despite a color mistake they made in a two of the rooms that they quickly fixed. The speed of which they performed did not take away from the quality of their work. The house needed some minor touch ups but nothing major. Two of our bathroom lights did suffer some breakage during the process but we were adequately compensated for the damage. Even though we couldn't replace the exact ones because they were from old SKUs, we purchased new ones and Beautiful Homes reimbursed us and installed it for us at no cost. We were so pleased by their work and their professionalism. The errors they made were understandable given the time constraints we had and they were so adequately resolved that it was not a big deal at all. They were prompt, on-time, and had wonderful customer service. Their prices are NOT on the inexpensive side but fair. I would argue that you pay these "fair" prices but you get so much more than what you pay for on the spectrum of professionalism, punctuality and excellent customer service. We would definitely use them again for future needs and would recommend their work for interior painting to others.
