Crest Appliance Repair

.I had a problem with my refrigerator; it wasn't cold. Gil responded to my phone call immediately. He had a very prompt arrival, and was very polite. He diagnosed the problem very quickly. He replaced the evaporator fan motor in my refrigerator and was done all in less than an hour. Unfortunately I started to hear the motor rattling a few weeks later. I called him and he was just as prompt and polite as the first time. He came back out and quickly fixed the issue. Would highly recommend this company, and I would use them again the next time I'm in need of appliance repair. It was a great pleasure doing business with this company.

I phoned the provider to see if the company could help me with a repair to my oven. He was very rude and unprofessional. He asked "Is your oven that old or do you not know what you're talking about?". My oven is 5 years old. In the end, he wasn't able to help me. Even if he was, I wouldn't hire him. I don't extend my money to be berated.

We called on a Sunday morning and Gilbert was here by noon the same day. He was able to repair our dryer in 20 minutes and the price was very reasonable. He was very professional and we are so happy to have found such a great company for any of our future appliance repair needs.

So it's nearly the end of Rosh Hashana, my wife had been making lots of delicious food throughout. I noticed that the bottom element of our oven was starting to look different, a spot was white instead of red. I even pointed it out to my wife. A half an hour later, it was completely conked out. No heat coming from it what so ever. And there are more holidays coming up very soon, which require a lot of cooking. My wife made it clear, get this fixed, or get a new oven, NOW. I sent some pictures of the oven, the face plate, and the element to Mr. Rubin, and asked him if he would be able to come up with a replacement. He told me that this oven was about 40 years old, but he could order a replacement part and have it in in a few day. The next day he called me up, and we set up an appointment for swapping out the replacement. He came exactly when promised, and I quickly had a working oven again. Sure, I could have tried to use Google to find an element on my own, and if I had a lot of time available, I might have done just that. But under time pressure, I wanted the expert, and he came through. Funny "after" story. I posted on Facebook about how this all went. A friend of mine about 3 miles away said his dishwasher just broke and he was about to look for someone to repair it. I sent him Mr. Rubin's number and told him to call. Later on my friend said that Mr. Rubin just left, and everything was working fine now. Good thing we had him in the neighborhood. :-) Again, I highly recommend Crest for appliance repairs!

Gilbert was on time, professional, very informative and pleasant. He was prepared, worked quickly and did not leave a mess. I was very happy with his service.

I called Crest Appliance yesterday and spoke to the owner who asked questions about how the oven was acting, to try to determine what could be the problem. They came today with the part and repaired it for a very fair price. Truly professional and honest.

Mr. Rubin was very professional, friendly and pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and was able to assess the issue/problem with my top load washer over the phone. I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next morning and Mr. Rubin arrived right on time with the necessary part to repair my washer. Service doesn't get any better than this. I highly recommend this company for good reliable service.

The guy was fantastic. Everything they said in Angie’s List was true. The price was more than I thought it would be but it was worth it.

Provider is very responsive and saw us the day of and the day after our calls. He was very professional, gave us the price of the job before he performed any work, was honest about the repairs and repaired our machines quickly. He supplied parts that had broken and is very knowledgable about his trade.

Crest Applicance was absolutely wonderful to work with. It was easy to schedule an appointment and they were flexible to make sure that it did work with our work schedules. The appointment happened right on time and the problem was fixed - using the least expensive solution. AND Crest called and checked on the status of the icemaker and the repair that evening and the next morning. I will absolutely contact Crest again when I have a need. Highly recommended!

We thought that the ice maker was broken. I called about getting it repaired and Mr. Rubin came by that day to take a look at it. He determined that the problem was a switch not the ice maker (a more expensive repair). He said he would have to pick up a switch and return to make the repair. He had to have a switch sent to him, and he returned two days later to make the repair. Mr. Rubin is very professional and a pleasant person to work with. We would definitely call him again if we have any sort of large appliance repair that needs to be done.

Great service. A+++++ All the nice things said by others on Angies List are TRUE. He was a pleasure to do business. He could not fix the refrigerator but was quick to refer me to another company and even gave me their telephone contact.

Went very well. Top notch service and Top notch quality of work. Rubin called back after the service to make sure everything is working fine. Very responsive and professional. Rubin called to say he is running late by 15 minutes.

A Crest repairman came within an hour of our telephone conversation. He replaced the master controller on the refrigerator. He gave us a small discount because we were Angie's List members. We were extremely pleased by his punctuality and professionalism. After the job was completed, he cleaned up the area. On the following morning, he telephoned to check on the refrigerator. He encouraged us to telephone him if we had any future problems with the appliance. We were extremely pleased!!!

Was on time, diagnosed problems quickly, explained the problems well, had parts on truck and quickly fixed my washer and dryer. Excellent job. I would definitely recommend.

Contacted Gil on Friday (7/19), regarding refrigerator not staying cool. He asked various questions to help diagnose the problem, as well as took the model # of the unit. Scheduled appointment for the next morning. He showed up right on schedule, diagnosed the problem, and had the new motor replaced within an hour. He walked me through everything that he was doing, and what signs were indicators of the problem. While there, he contacted his next appointment to let them know that he may be running a little late. Great service, nice guy, would definitely recommend and use again.

He could not have been nicer. He said it probably did not make sense for him to come out and fix it. He was very honest and actually looked up the age of my two appliance.

Spent time on the phone making sure he would have the right part. Arrived on time, changed out the element quickly and neatly.

Description Of Work: This guy is top tops! Very pleasant and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the probable cause and asked me to source him the model number. I wasn't able to get it to him until much later in the day but since I am geographically close he made a special visit and installed the part quickly. My fridge was up and running in no time.

The tech disassembled the control module and tried a repalcement component. He explained that this was a part that whirlpools typically had failure issues with. He had brought the part with him, even though it was not a regular stock part. After repalceing the part, the was he worked fine. Then, after reattaching the control panel, the washer stopped again, So we plugged it into a different socket, and discovered that the one wall socket hd a loose wire. So, the tech removed the new component, and re-inserted the original one, just to see if it would work. After the reattachment, the washer worked fine. So, he looked at me and said that I did not need the new part, and would not be charged for it. He re-assembled the machine, and wound up charging me only for the base service visit and one half hour actual service. I was very pleased with his honesty and integrity.

Mr. Rubin is fantastic. He came the same day we called, and went out of his way to accommodate our schedules. This is the second time we have used him, and I highly recommend him. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explaining everything to us as he did. He made sure to know the brand and type of our dryer ahead of time, and had all the parts with him necessary to fix it. Not only that, he replaced a part that made the door close more securely, which we had not even asked him to do. He is also a very nice guy!

Gilbert Rubin carried out all possible maintenance that may contribute to our 11 year old refrigerator cooling problems. The unit is working better. My wife and I can better determine the worth of paying for new parts and the cost of labor verse purchasing a new unit. Mr. Rubin gave us all the information we need to continue good maintenance and make a good future refrigerator purchase. His fee $95 was fair given his time, performed maintenance and expertise. Highly recommended.

Sunday evening (Fathers Day) our refrigerator started making funny, loud noises, and the temperature started dropping. We realized we will need someone to come and check it. Like I said it was Fathers Day, so we were not sure anyone would answer, we searched on the list, and really liked Crest Appliances and Mr. Gilbert Rubin, so we called, and to our surprise he answered, and after asking several questions about the refrigerator model and such, promised to come on Monday (today) at 10am. Mr. Rubin came on time, was very nice, immediately knew what was the problem, and fixed it ! Mr Rubin appears very knowledgeable, and is super nice, and the price was reasonable, if there were an A+ rating I would rate the services and Mr. Rubin an A++!

Mr. Rubin asked me a few questions to help him identify the make and model so that he could anticipate possible problems and parts he might need to have with him. He was able to schedule a visit promptly and arrived right on time the next day. After examining my dryer, he explained to me in clear, understandable terms what the problem was, what he needed to do to fix it, and how much it would cost. He performed the work quickly and efficiently without disturbing anything else in the area. He was extremely easygoing, pleasant and professional. He credited me for my Angiel's List discount coupon. I would call him again without hesitation and highly recommend him. I was extremely pleased with his service.
