Crest Appliance Repair

Called on Saturday and Mr Rubin came and fixed our freezer.

Called Gil regarding problems with refrigerator and dryer. He spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me at no charge and recommended that I contact other service providers instead of scheduling a service appointment with him. I followed Gil's suggestions and I am happy to report that both problems were resolved. I will most certainly contact Gil for any other appliance repair issue that may arise.

Gil was able to arrange an appointment just a few hours after I called this morning. He arrived on time, quickly isolated the problem to the broken relay, and got the fridge running after just a few minutes. And while working, he was very careful to minimize any dirt and cleaned the area when finished. Excellent service all around.

Had the part (motherboard) on his truck based on my giving him the refrigerator model number. Happy with the results.

OMG-what a wonderful provider!!! I contacted Gilbert Rubin of Crest Appliance Repair early in the morning since my refrigerator was making a loud buzzing sound, and more importantly, my freezer was not working & all the ice in the icemaker and food had thawed. Looked like a flood in the kitchen! First of all, Gilbert himself answered the phone; not an answering machine or receptionist that would relay a message & cause you to wait. Since I lived quite a distance from Mr. Rubin, he asked me several questions to see what the problem might be and looked up the model of my refrigerator. I checked everything he asked. From there, Gilbert diagnosed the probable problem(s) and provided an estimate for repair, given each possible problem. With the given scenarios and an 11 yr. old refrigerator, the lowest estimate for the part alone; not to mention installation would have been rather pricey. But it appeared that several problems existed that would shoot up the cost of repair. It was his recommendation to put the money into a new refrigerator. Gilbert spoke to me several times on the phone for an extended period of time. Not only did he diagnose the problem & spend a lot of time on the phone with me, BUT, he didn't charge me anything...NO CHARGE!!! He couldn't have been more professional, more pleasant, or anymore knowledgeable on large appliance repair. What a wonderful & refreshing experience to deal with Gilbert of Crest Appliance Repair!!! I highly recommend him to anyone in need of appliance repair--believe me, you will be quite impressed and glad you made the call. Outstanding customer service!!! Thank you!!!

Showed up on the same day as I called at exactly the agreed upon time. Was very professional and fixed my problem very quickly for a fair price.

I called Crest on a Sunday, the day before an expected storm. Gilbert arranged his schedule so he could come by right away and fix my fridge. They were great! Highly recommend!

We used Mr. Rubin and Crest appliance last year and we were so impressed that when our tenants called stating the refrigerator malfunctioned and does not dispense water while still making ice we knew who to call right away. After talking with Mr. Rubin he called my tenants and fixed the problem over the phone!!! When I asked how much should I send him for payment he said "Nothing as I did not have to come". How about that for honesty and professionalism? Many other companies and repair men (even if they knew what is wrong) would come and charge some incredibly high diagnostic fee but not Mr. Rubin, he was happy to help- free of charge!!! Don't waste your time on anyone else if you ever need to fix an appliance as in addition to being very knowledgeable, he is incredibly honest-simply the best!!!

Gilbert told me what time he would be at my house and said he might be able to make it early. When he determined that he would not be able to be there early, he called me back and then arrived precisely on time. He explained every step what he was going to do, and he quickly figured out the problem and fixed the oven. He was very nice and personable and he spent quite a bit of time talking to us. It was a pleasure to deal with him. We would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Gilbert was extremely accommodating and professional. He explained the probem and the remedy. He was realisstic about the possible diagnoses and reassured me about the safety factors. He answered all my questions and was cheerful throughout the visit. He actually telephoned me this evening to check on the status of the appliance. I have never had any service provider follow up in the evening to make sure things were working properly. He was excellent and I recoommed him highly.

Gilbert was great! he was on time and followed up exceptionally well! I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr Rubin arrived on time, fixed the problem quickly and gave tips on how to prevent the problem from ocurring again. He actually gave me tubing to clear the drain in the future.

Gilbert came before the scheduled time of service. He found the problem with the stuck motor on our dryer. He then went on trying to prevent future problem and fixed the connection from the dryer to the outside vent. My husband lost his ring when trying to found problem with the dryer earlier. Gilbert even took the time to take the front of the dryer off trying to find the ring. Although he didn't find the ring, I am very appreciative of him taking extra effort trying to do that. For all the extra work, he only charged for the repaired item. I will use him next time for sure!

Gil Rubin was fantastic. He was prompt and courteous and wonderful to work with. He fixed a burner on our stove top that others over the years had attempted but failed to correct. Although he didn't repair them as he thought the cost was more than we should spend he provided advice on the refrigerator ice maker and the cracked oven door.

He was outstanding. He came on a Sunday (his day off) since we weren't going to be home from work during the week. He diagnosed the problem, repaired it and it was running perfectly in no time. I highly recommend him.

My wife told me the washer had stopped working. I confirmed it, logged into Angie's List, called Crest, and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Gil arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, had the spare part with him, and fixed it in less than a half an hour. It took that long because he showed me some helpful hints. Excellent!

Gilbert came in, diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what was wrong and corrected the issue with my washer machine right away. Excellent service!! I highly recommend him.

Called Gilbert in the afternoon and he was able to provide service the same day. He performed multiple tests on the refrigerator and explained to me what he was doing as he did them. Gilbert was also quickly able to tell me about the problem I was having with my dryer and dishwasher, even opening up the and looking through the dishwasher while fixing the fridge. He was very professional, courteous, and personable. I would suggest Crest Appliance Repair to anyone in a heartbeat.

I called Gil around 10a on a Saturday morning and by 2pm that afternoon, my problems were solved!!!! Are you kidding me?!?! What a wonderful man. Very nice, respectful, courteous, knowledgable. I felt as though I received a proper explanation as to what might be happening as well as the chance to move forward with service or just make it a call. I was left with total confidence as Gil explained he would work with me going forward should anything else decide to break or become an issue. I appreciate the honest and sincere service received!!! I noticed a water drip in the basement and realized the refrigerator was leaking. Called several places trying to get someone to come out sooner rather than later. Not only was Crest appliance able to come out the next day (New Year's Eve) but was helpful on the phone and I was able to turn off the water to the refrigerator. They located and fixed the leak right away.

I sent an email Sunday night (11/22) and received a phone call within the hour from Gil. He said he could come out the next day, and we arranged a time convenient for both of us. Monday morning he called and asked if he come earlier. That worked for m; the sooner the better! He arrived right on time, and quickly went to work. Unfortunately, he found my compressor was running but not doing it's job properly, and I would be better off buying a new one. He was extremely friendly, polite, and efficient. I will call him first next time for any appliance repair.

Gilbert came the same day I called and arrived when he said he would. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He found the problem, fixed it, and at a great price. I couldn't recommend more highly. Excellent!!!

I had a good experience with Crest. Came out to my home and fixed the ice maker in my refrigerator in one visit. He had the correct parts with him, as we had spoke on the phone prior. Very quick and professional. |
