Oscar and his crew mow our lawn regularly throughout the year and always do a great job at a great price. They are fast and efficient and even sweep or blow the leaves and clippings off our deck when they are done. At the beginning of the year they usually perform landscaping work for us too, and spend a whole day edging, weeding, preparing flower beds, planting, and putting down mulch. It's always a shock to come home to a brand new front yard! We got many quotes for landscaping from other services and Remy Landscaping is always the best value. We have recommended them to family members as well. Wish they did leaf clean-up in the fall!

Service had begun before I got home. I am not exactly sure of the exact date or cost. The job was just about completed. Contracted gave me some suggestions on how various treatments and suggestions to improve my lawn. I was pleased with what he had to say.

I was contacted via e-mail by Oscar Rios within a few days of purchasing the deal to arrange a date for the service. Although there was an initial mix upon the scheduling, it was quickly resolved. Oscar again contacted me two days before the scheduled service to confirm the appointment and offered additional services that could be provided at that same time. Oscar and another worker arrived at my residence at the appointed date and time. Oscar came to the door, to ensure that we were in agreement as to the service to be provided. He again came to the door at the completion of the work to inform me of the work accomplished. The service provided was greater than I had anticipated.

Company showed up on time with good core aeration equipment. Bargained with company to aerate another 3,000 sq ft,which they did for an additional $20. They were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great experience and I'd use them again without hesitation

The MD-based contractor would not go to N. VA so I applied for a refund, which I have not yet received.

It was a very pleasant experience: when I first met Oscar, I had prepared a detailed list of what we needed done which was the basis of our contract. He confirmed our initial meeting with an Email and details of the contract, cost, etc., all in perfect English. Oscar himself worked on the job with his 2 assistants, which I liked a lot. They arrived 15 minutes early, at 7:15am--a pleasant surprise. They worked throughout the day, anxious to complete the work as per agreed list. Communication with Oscar was good, he made suggestions, and he seemed to know his trade. He left very satisfied clients at our beautiful front yard! Thanks again, Sr. Oscar!

Initial contact was smooth and the appointment was made easily. The day before I hadn't gotten a response to my email confirmation so I called - Oscar had trouble finding my information and didn't seem to have my appointment. He did fit us in the next day though, so it worked out fine. They arrived on time & I showed them what I wanted done. Two men worked on the task, filling 15 yard bags of debris. Overall I'm happy with the work (mainly because I would have hated to do it myself), but there were several issues: issue 1: Several times I saw Oscar on the phone (e.g. not working) and his colleague standing (e.g. not working). This is frustrating when it's an hourly job Issue 2: About 20 minutes before their 2-hour job was up he came to check with me. I went back to see their work & they'd not removed the buses we'd discussed Issue 3: After they left I found several balls and trash in the area they cleaned. Although they did take a lot of material out, they did not do an 'excellent' job cleaning the area Issue 4: I wanted a small bush taken down & he said they didn't have their saw. He hadn't asked me the day before what work I needed done, so I feel this was a mistake on his part Note: be sure to have bags ready, they didn't bring any & had me run to Home Depot to get more

Remy came and got right to the task of cleaning up the area surrounding my hedges, across the front of my house. They evened off the area by digging up and removing some of the grass and soil, making room for flowers, in the future. The area was covered with weed block, compost and pine-bark mulch. The perimeter of my yard was edged and trimmed, as well. They did a great job. I would use them for future lawn projects.

I contacted Remy for a quote to provide lawn mowing. I contacted them through Angie's list and never heard from them, so I then contacted them through their web site and still nothing. My day job prevents me from making many phone calls so email contact works best for me. Apparently it doesn't work for Remy even when using their contact form on their web site. The only thing I received from them was a request to add me to their contacts on LinkedIn and that request came before I ever sent an email request for a quote. Very weird.

I did end up spending more than the Big Deal I purchased because I bought mulch from Remy Landscaping.

I pay $108.00 for monthly mowing service, this was a special they were running. They have done an excellent job and I don't even know that they are here they came in and get the job done quickly while doing a good job at the same time. I will be extending my contract with them.

Remy Landscaping came out to do a major yard cleanup on our 3/4 acres which were vastly overgrown. The front steep embankment had Poison Ivy and the crew was out in protective gear hand picking the Poison Ivy. They cut down bushes that were massively overgrown by several feet. They cut back the ivy that had taken over one side of the garden. They did everything we asked. They did it all in one day. A very long, hot day for the crew. I was very impressed.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for 4 hours of landscaping work, and used the labor for lawn improvement work and the creation of a small flower bed in my backyard. Oscar and his crew were very courteous and prompt, and ended up getting more done than they had originally estimated would be possible within the allotted time frame (Oscar initially didn't think they would have time to build the flower bed). Oscar was very knowledgeable about lawn care and landscaping, and he provided me with very thorough instructions for maintaining and improving my lawn on my own in the future. My only complaint is related to communication prior to the scheduled work; I emailed with Oscar several times and we also spoke by phone, and there was some miscommunication about the supplies that I would need to supply for the crew. Initially, he said I didn't need to supply anything and they could provide and bill me for any necessary supplies, then he asked me to get a bunch of mulch at the last minute, and then cancelled the request.

They did a good job, no problems, came on time and did what they were suppose to do. They offered us more but we did not. It went fine, it took about 30 minutes.

In less than two hours the back yard and front yard were neatly trimmed as requested. I made sure I was nearby so they could ask questions. They seemed to welcome my involvement, eager to please. I provided the paper bags for the cuttings. Two men for two hours = $70 per hour on the deal. They had their own equipment 9 except the six recycle trash bags I provide at their request. I was pleased and would use them again.

Oscar responded promptly to my emails. He came and did and estimate and was able to schedule the job in an acceptable time frame. He arrived at the time scheduled, performed the work we discussed and was helpful in making decisions about my yard. I will use him in the fall.

Arrived at the appointed time, was very knowledgeable, and did the job professionally, and well.

Removed grass and weeds and installed plastic around two lines of arborvitaes. Filled several paper Home Depot bags. Unfortunately, some bags were also filled with dirt. Recycle Truck will not take that away. I know that. They probably know that. My disappointment is they should have warned me, and not driven off without saying anything. Recycle took everything but one bag, THANK GOD. But the one bag left was even too heavy for me to pull back into the yard and it burst on the bottom. The recycle people left a note that said, "No dirt pls!" They were also an hour late with no apology. When asked, Mr. Rios said that traffic was bad. I would have called a client. Not a professional thing to do. Now I am worried that maybe plastic was not a good idea to block weeds around my arbs. I'm wondering if mulch against the trunk is safe. Youtube video tree experts say not to mulch up to the trunk. Anyway. The mulch looks really nice and the installations look very nice. But now I'm wondering if the drip hoses should have been under the mulch instead of on top. I hope I don't have to do the thing all over. Also would have liked to be given the care tags. I had to go to Home Depot and provide materials for this guy four different times back to back. I had to loan him my house scissors to cut the plastic. Of course they are no longer fit for the kitchen's work. I had to loan them four tools from my shed. What professional company requires this? When the job was finished, they put my tools by the shed and tried to slip away. There were 4 or 5 bags of dirt left in front of my house. I thought it was grass and asked that they put them out for county pick-up. County refused to take dirt away. I was stuck with weight that I could not handle. That's not the correct way to do business, but it seems to be the way now days in this country.

My husband was the the guys that did the aeration and was happy with them. He said they did a great job!

They performed the work that we asked them to perform well. We used a half price Angie's list deal, and we were satisfied given that cost. if we were paying full price, perhaps there was a little more that we would have wanted to done to fill the time. They were very professional and provided some helpful suggestions during the work.

Bought this service through a Big Deal. They called to make an appointment, described the service, and told me they could overseed and fertilize for an additional fee. I agreed. They arrived early on the appointment day, did the work and were finished in less than an hour. Two months later I am very pleased. My lawn is very lush, even in the back yard where I had lots of bare ground and very dry, hard compacted soil from rough wear and tear (two dogs) over the winter.

I learned of this vendor via an Angie's Big Deal. It offered a great price. I have a tiny property. When I paid for this service through a different provider five years ago it cost more than $100. This went well. Although I made my appointment shortly after purchase, the vendor provided a target service date about three weeks in the future. He scheduled Howard County properties in a batch. Although the standard service area is Montgomery County, I greatly appreciated the owner's willingness to perform the work at such a good price given this limitation. (I would be happy to use this company again if service area expanded.) Another plus: as all work occurred outside, I didn't have to be home for the vendor to perform the work.

The experience was great. It was easy to schedule. The worker was on time and he was very helpful with some suggestions on the landscaping plan. He gave me some feedback on what I should and should not do.

Not a big job, but done well. I called; after a couple of days they got back to me and came the next day to aerate.
