It was fine. It was the first time I used them and I would recommend them. I tried using them again but I had issues with scheduling.

Everything turned out well, and I had no complaints about the service. The crew was on time, worked hard, and did a thorough job. However, I felt that the price of the Big Deal was high considering that the work wasn't very complex or advanced.

Aeration went fine and purchased with an Angie's List special of $79.00. Added seeding with shade seed to front and back yard for an additional 45.00. Remy provided seed. Communication and scheduling was somewhat difficult but once they arrived the job went quickly.

Second time I used Oscar with and Angies List Deal. I'm beginning to feel guilty! I was going away and just basically told Oscar to do what he thought when he could. He did a great job and took a bit of a risk moving a shrub to hide a corner - and it looks great! Can't go into detail because I don't know what they were. I only know I came home and was very happy!!!

They did a good job. There was a schedule issue so make sure you clear on scheduling and clear on what costs are included or not included.

Oscar responded promptly to my request for an evaluation of the job and for an estimate. The evaluation was thorough and professional and his suggestion for pruning the myrtle - contrary to that of other people I contacted - was in keeping with what I found online. The estimate was reasonable, although a little higher than others. He came with two workers at the exact time of the appointment and did the job in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Throughout he showed willingness to go along with my requests and a pleasant, friendly behavior. I am very satisfied with the results, so much so that I already hired him back for a spring cleaning of my yards.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine.

I purchased a special for 4 hours of yard work with 2 men which equaled 8 hours one man . The owner and his helper showed up on time and were friendly and professional. The work was done according to the agreement. MY DISCLAIMER: THIS WORK WAS PERFORMED A WHILE AGO I DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT COST FOR THE SERVICE IT WAS REASONABLE. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT DATE THE SERVICE WAS PERFORMED. THE REST OF THIS REVIEW IS ACCURATE.

I applied for the big deal. Got a message from provider about date availability. When I did not get any reply, I called Remy Landscaping and spoke to Oscar, who initially seemed confused and then Angie's List message board. He agreed verbally to the time change. At that point I explained that I wanted help in blowing the leaves out of the beds and shredding them. Then I wanted this shredded leave compost applied back into the beds. I asked if he had a shredder or a blower/shredder. No answer either in writing or verbally. The next day I got a message that advised me that there would be $120 dollar charge over and above the other services for hauling stuff from my yard. I was confused because I had not asked for any hauling. I wrote back and restated my needs and stressed that I was a green gardener and nothing was every hauled away. No reply. So I cancelled the appointment I had made, and told Oscar that I did not feel we were on the same page. I did not want him to come and do anything but that which I had requested, and I did not feel that this was going to happen, because of the lack of communication and the miscommunications between us.

They showed up on time, did precisely what they said they would quickly and efficiently. Perfect result.

They never showed up to do the work yet kept my money.

Oscar did a great job. He showed up on time, did the work as promised, and provided some advice on watering and cutting the lawn. Very happy with his work, price was very competitive. Would definitely use him again. 5/5/14 - this is to update my above review. I had the overseeding and aeration service provided due to the number of patches on my front lawn with no grass. Now that we are over a month into Spring, I still don't see any new grass growing in these areas - my lawn doesn't look much different that at the end of last autumn. So the overseeding and aeration hasn't resulted in any new visible grass on my front lawn. I'm disappointed with this.

This was the second time we used Remy. They are a great company, very responsive and fairly priced. We purchased an Angie's Deal for the aeration services, and though our lawn was a bit larger than the area specified, they did not charge us extra. We will continue to use Remy for aeration and other services in the future.

Workers were professional and did a good job pruning our crape myrtles that had not been pruned in 6 years. Hauling away the debris cost an additional $80. Happy with their work. Prompt and professional.

The service didn't turn out to be the high quality that I had expected.

The results were attractive but we felt we paid a lot for a relatively simple task. We expected the edging to be quick so the crew would have time to do additional cleanup but that didn't happen. We probably wouldn't use them again because it just seemed like a lot of money for what they finished in the time allotted, but the work was very well done.

Remy landscaping did a great job. Oscar Rios was responsive and professional when giving the estimate and when supervising the actual work. We had just purchased our home and the yard had been neglected by the previous owners for some time. Oscar made great suggestions on which tress and shrubs to keep, which to remove and which low maintenance shrubs would be best to replace with. He even gave us some helpful tips on things we could do ourselves in other parts of the yard. The crew arrived on time and worked quickly. They cleaned up behind themselves and left the yard looking great.

The work turned out fine. They did what they said they would.

It was good. I like the fact that the guy was giving me suggestions on the removal of the weeds and stuff. They were fast and friendly. The only thing that I had with them was that I thought it was a little pricey for just the type of work that was done but other than that, I think they were really good. They showed up on time.

He showed up on time and worked efficiently. It was a good experience and he did a good job.

I guess the job wasn't as big a job as they thought. Once they had an opening in there work day they finally contacted me. It just seemed to me that they did my job when nothing else was available. Mr Fraser

The service did what it was supposed to do. After I had the lawn fertilized, it came out nice and thick. The service was good and I would do the service again if another offer came along.

They were very punctual and did everything I wanted. I sent him a list of what I wanted in the order I wanted it done. There was a little miscommunication because some of the work was done out of order. They were hard working and worked the full two hours. The only other issue I had was they had neglected to tell me that I needed to supply the bags for the debris which I did not have any at the time. The owner himself came to my house and was professional. He clarified with me what I wanted so the miscommunications that happened were partially my fault. They were great to work with.
