Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $99 for Preventative Interior and Exterior Pest Treatment and Rodent Seal-Up.

Description of Work: When the service man showed up he told me he wasn't the regular person. He spent less than 15 minutes in my home and declared the work done. I continued to have ants (many many more) over the next week. I know that this can sometimes happen, so I called and asked for a second visit (covered under the guarantee). The person was very nice and then said "Oh, you are an Angies List person" - we can't come until at least 14 days. She was reluctant to even schedule the appt but I insisted we set it up for 14 days and if the ants cleared up in the meantime I would cancel. On the schedule date, the technician called me at 7:15 AM to say he couldn't find my address in his GPS and wanted to know if he could come at 8:30 instead of 10. I agreed. At 9:30, he still had not appeared, so I called him and he said he was running late and should be there in 1/2 hour. So, back to my original time. Once he arrived, however, this technician was very thorough, asking questions, spending more time on the outside areas, etc. After the second (more thorough) visit, the ants were gone. A little frustrating, but once I got the right person, the service worked.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for pest treatment. When I called to schedule, they were able to come the same week. Mark was punctual and professional. He identified some issues and solutions but wasn't pushy in trying to sell me services I didn't need. I will be using them again and I would definitely recommend them. Treatment I received was for insects (ants, spiders, etc) and rodents.

Description of Work: They were here to do a pest inspection for mice. They did a thorough inspection and although he said he was not going to put bait traps around the house he did anyway leading to a lot of new mice for a bit. He was only going to put them around the garage at that time, since we do need to have work in the attic that we were not prepared to do at the time. | |I was very disappointed by the fact that there were multiple cigarette butts in my yard after the visit. I have a dog that eats everything and I found at least 4 butts out there that were just laying in the yard. I don't mind that he smoked, but at least police the butts out of other peoples yard.

Description of Work: The guy name Mark, He come in 10 min early as it is great as i dont need wait longer. His service to spray around inside/outside of home and garage. Alsok Mark have lots patient to explain or answer my question. Will contact that company again.

Description of Work: I have a quarterly contract with them, and the nice thing is what ever the issue, they come and do anything for the barn or the house. Even though the main service is keeping the rodents down in the barn, they have sprayed for moths and ants in the house when I asked them to, and they helped late at night for catching a bat in the house. They are very responsive.

Description of Work: Remove mice rats from attic redo all insulation to R60 Several times I said I wanted before and after pictures and rerequested them to no avail. They stated they would take them. They immediately replaced the insulation the same day and I had mice still scratching in my attic days/weeks later. called for help and they trapsed around my R60 insulation to trap them. Description of Work: The technician came and placed poisonous bait traps inside and outside my home. I was not home at the time so he called me when he was done and explained to me what he did. He stated there were no openings for rodents to enter in the basement or main floor of my house. He did, however, claim that my attic was infested with mice, rats, raccoons, squirrels and any number of rodents and vermin. He offered to do a total extermination and removal of insulation materials, that he claimed were asbestos, for $3,000+. This $3K price tag did not include the bi-weekly service charge of $65 to check traps and remove vermin. He must've said "rats" three or four time, but I declined the offer since I do not believe I have squirrels or raccoons in my attic (I would've heard them as I did in the past before I had a company squirrel proof my attic). I also contacted an asbestos removal professional who examined the insulation and said it is not asbestos -- just fiberglass. I paid $99 for someone to put out traps I could buy at any Home Depot. I know I have a hole in a basement window and a crack in my kitchen door frame that any thing as small as a mouse could squeeze thru. In the 7 or 8 weeks since the service was performed, I found two dead mice in the traps he set and have no sign of any mouse activity since. I check the traps every few days just to be sure, but this makes their success rate equal to my own when I set my own trap -- two mice per season. It makes me suspicious of all Angie's List offers - is it just a scam to get in someone house in order to come up with an bigger, more expensive offer? I'm done. I think my success rate of finding someone on my own (or via neighborly word-of-mouth) is equal to, if not greater than the satisfaction I've garnered from using businesses on Angie's List. I shall cancel my subscription today.

Description of Work: Decontaminated my attic fro rodents. Took all insulation out, plugged all holes and put screens over vents that are rodent proof. The manager and team were very professional and did exactly what they said they would. Their services were well worth the money. The man who came to lay out the Bait, Mark, was so nice and patient, ensuring that the job was well done. The crew that cleaned the attic were extremely competent and very well organize. In fact, all my neighbors were impressed by how well they worked together. Good job!!
