Excellent responsiveness, came on time, and finished the work in less time than originally expected. We had water damage originating from a rotten window frame that had been poorly repaired by the previous homeowner. The mold was discovered after removing built-in bench storage in the basement. Steve was quick to schedule an estimate and come out to take a look. Steve notified me a few days in advance of the scheduled work that he anticipated a delay in service due to other jobs taking longer than anticipated. He volunteered to come on a Saturday morning to complete the job that was originally scheduled for the day before. They removed the damaged drywall and carpet and salvaged all the building materials that were undamaged so they could be reused if desired. Very satisfied with the work that was done and would recommend.

My entire experience with Mr. Theodoropoulos was a nightmare. He led me to believe my claim would be short of $50K and it ended up being $20K. By the time I paid his fee, I didn't have enough money to make the repairs. It took months for him to return my messages. He cashed an insurance check and withheld payment to me for months. I would not recommend hiring him as a public adjuster or as a restoration specialist.

"Unfortunately, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] interfered with the claim multiple times and misunderstood all of the information provided to her by our firm. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] invited me to her home to assist her with getting money for home repairs from her insurance company for a possible claim. After I discovered the damage, I told her I can help her to negotiate this claim which would now be six months old, due to the fact that she didn't even know filing a claim was an option and it was only filed after I discovered it. The insurance company offered an initial $5000 for the entire claim. We want money for a new roof and all new siding due to hail damage. Our estimate came out to $44,000 for a whole new roof and siding. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was pressing our company to give her a number on what her settlement would be. We never tell our clients any numbers because we never know what the number is going to be until the settlement is wrapped up. After many inquiries, I told Mrs. [Member Name Removed] that our estimate was for around $44,000. She had that fixed in her head that that was the money she was going to get. As it turns out after a month and a half of trying to prove that the siding cannot be matched exactly, it was proven that the siding was an exact match. Since the damage only occurred on the front face of the house we had to subtract out aluminum siding replacement for the rest of the house out of our estimate. After negotiating, we got Mrs. [Member Name Removed] a settlement for approximately $25,000. $7000 of that title was categorized as recoverable depreciation which means the insurance company will hold onto this money until you make your repairs and then once you show receipts that you've paid for everything, they release that money. So, the initial check was for $18,000. Our company gets a fee and after our fee Mrs. [Member Name Removed] still had enough money even without the recoverable depreciation to get all of the work done to her house regarding the hail damage. She said to me that she could not fix all of the other items in her house that needs to be fixed and the roofbwoth the money we got her. I never promised her that she could fix her roof and siding and other repairs in the house with the money we got her. In addition, she complained that I promised her we would get her a check for around $44,000 which is completely false. We never promise any dollar amount due to the fact we never know how settlements go during the negotiation. After we got Mrs. [Member Name Removed] her settlement, she threatened to call anyone that would listen and complain about me. None of this made any sense considering the fact that we fulfilled our promise to her which was to negotiate her claim for as much money she was due. During the entire claims process, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] sent me and my business partner threatening and insulting texts. Even with that we continued to fight for her and maximize her claim settlement. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was very difficult to deal with and pretty much broke our agreement multiple times by communicating directly with the insurance company. She did this so many times that the insurance adjuster asked me to tell her to stop calling them. As you can see, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] faked information regarding mold remediation work just to post this negative review. I never did any mold remediation work for her. Our company strives to provide excellent results at a fair price. If for some reason the customer has a complaint which is very rare, we correct the issue in a quick and timely manner. By the end, all of our customers are left feeling satisfied and pleased with the work our company has performed."

Steve was great to work with. He's extremely friendly and knowledgeable about mold and mold remediation. There were many places where he could have taken advantage of us financially by suggesting that more work needed to be done than was necessary. However... when we would ask about certain things he would explain why we didn't need it and advised against it.
In the end the job was done and done extremely well! He started when he said he would and he was done when he said he would be done. In my experience of hiring people to do work for me, that is not always the case. I really feel he went the extra mile to help us and to make our job as complete and as clean as possible. We had a walkthrough at the end and I could not believe the difference. Follow-up testing proved that the mold was gone. BTW... there were a few spots of dust I wasn't happy with. They didn't contain mold but Steve got his equipment and took care of them.
Steve also helped coordinate several other businesses that were necessary to complete the job. We had to have all the attic insulation replaced and the ducts needed to be cleaned. There was also a lot of trash to haul away that was pretty much contaminated as well. We didn't have to worry about any of this. Steve took care of it all.
Having to go through mold remediation is scary and stressful. It was great having someone do the job that I felt I could trust and had my best interest in mind doing the job. I asked LOTS of questions and bothered Steve with emails and texts on continual basis. He always answered promptly and thoroughly without any hint of annoyance.
A great big THANK YOU, STEVE, for doing a terrific job and helping us get through this nightmare!
