Mr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and PG County

Terrible...after being charged for 1hour and 45 minutes and paying $285.00 the guy even with help using skype from his office could not diagnose the issue. He wanted to tear out the wall behind the shower but then opted to cutting a hole out in the ceiling of our garage to analyze where the water was leaking from and still couldn't find it. Very incompetent. We will never use them again.. Such a waste of time...such a waste of money.. no one guarantees their work anymore..

Even though what I wanted was lost a little in translation, my concerns were taken care of a 100% & that's what matters. The employee was polite and professional. Their pricing is based on a hourly basis regardless if finished less than an hour (excluding materials). Even though I do not like pricing done in that manner, their reviews were awesome & I wanted it done right the 1st time, so I paid a little extra.

The work was done quickly and professionally.

James arrived on time, he had a very pleasant demeanor and answered any questions. He worked carefully and cleaned up after each job he completed. All in all it was a very good experience. I would hire Mr. Handyman again.

Best home improvement experience ever!!! Barry was terrific and very talented. There was no job he couldn't do, and all his work was excellent quality! Barry was quick, efficient, and thorough. I paid for five hours of handyman services, and it was worth every penny. Much more efficient than it would have been to hire separate specialists for each area, and Barry did a better job than previous experiences I have had with plumbers, electricians, and roofing specialists.

Both workers showed up when expected, were extremely professional and even finished in half the time quoted.

They were fantastic. They found a way to salvage it. I was impressed. The plumber came in and took a look and said, "that wall has to come down. When it's down, call me back", and left. We called Mr. Handyman to come and take the wall down. It was $125 an hour. He was there a couple of hours. They also have a coupon on your list and a super service award. He charged me for 2 and he was probably here for 2 and a quarter. He was an A+ all the way through. They came on an emergency call. They didn't have somebody, but they found somebody to come out. We are going to use them again.

Given the size of the job the cost was too high in large part because work crews were mobilized on two separate days rather than working through the 3 hours the job should take. This added unnecessary hours of twice setting up and cleaning up from two 1.5 hours of work which inflated the cost. This is the problem with jobbing at an hourly rate rather than than costing out work entirely.

I was ready to pay for services quoted on call but repairman priced services higher. I declined services.

I had a host of work for this poor man and he smiled through it and did an excellent job. He was personable, polite, efficient, and did great quality work. I would definitely hire this company again.

Both projects were completed in parallel and in a reasonable amount of time for what needed to be done.

They arrived a few minutes early, got to work right away, was polite, professional and friendly. They did great work and stayed on budget. The admin staff have been excellent and extremely responsive. Strongly recommend and will use again.
