Went very well. The handyman was very courteous and fast.

I had pointed out some wet tiles in the ceiling next to the ones he had installed which was actually my Master Shower. He took those tiles down and actually found a major leak that I had no idea I had and If he had not taken the time to actually really look at the pipe instead of just replace the damp tile the leak would still be going on. The only negative I have to say about this company is I feel they charge way too much for their services.

Very well. I live alone and am always leery of contractors. The workman that came out was very easy to talk to and put me at ease. He did the job, cleaned up beautifully. The price was a little steep, but in all fairness, it is time consuming to paint shutters. These guys charge by the hour. What I really liked was making a call, setting up an appointment, and having him come and do instead of having to do the estimate game. Very happy with work done.

I was pleased with the outcome and will certainly be using them again. If you want services provided by an honest company and experience upmost satisfaction with the outcome of their work, I highly recommend Handyman From Heaven to all.

I was very impressed by this company. I sent (3) handyman companies a message on 9/3 through Angie's list. They are the only company who responded and they sent me a message within 20 minutes. Not only that - they came out to my house on the same day and worked around my schedule. That is rare these days. They explained to me what they were going to do and the price was reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

I called Handy Man from Heaven after checking Angie's List and chose them because they are not far from my home. I had several little jobs that needed fixing around the house. Javier arrived promptly as expected and successfully completed two of the three jobs I wanted done. He replaced a broken bathroom faucet with a newly purchased one and replaced some corroding outside vents. I appreciated that he cleaned the lint out of the dryer vent. He also cleaned out and inserted a screen in the other vent where some birds had nested. The third job proved more daunting and could not be completed but Javier did mention my entryway door needed caulking and I approved the job. Then he discovered some exposed wood around a bay window that was susceptible to rotting and said it should be painted for prevention. I had some outdoor paint and he proceeded to do that job. Javier did mention other things around the outside of the house that needed tending but I couldn;t afford for him to stay and complete them. That would have to wait for another time. I did pay more than I expected but got more things done that the house needed and any money spent in taking care of my house is money well spent. After Javier left, HMFH owner Stephen called me and asked how things went. I said it went well except for the one job that couldn't be completed and I didn't appreciate being materially charged for caulk. I suggested to Javier that he mention that to customers BEFORE he starts using his own supplies. I had caulk on-hand like the paint I handed him for the window. Stephen was apologetic and offered to reimburse me the cost of a half hour of Javier's time spent here and a coupon for future business. I think they're a fair company with hard workers and I'd definitely use them again for more jobs around the house.

Javier showed up on time. Was very professional. I noticed the tile pattern was wrong and he worked with me to fix it and make sure it was up to my perfectionist standards! I had some concerns about the charges, and Stephen listened to my concerns and we were able to work something out that (I hope) made everyone happy. But the most important thing to me was that he listened and was willing to compromise. That quality is rare in a lot of businesses. Thank you, HMFH!

Javier was the person that HMFH sent to do the work, he was prompt on a daily basis, worked until we made him go home.....he would have worked all night!! He worked very hard and did an excellent job. His boss Stephen visited him onsite to check on the progress and he was also very personable. We were pleased with Javier's work and his polite and kind demeanor. He went above and beyond what was asked of him and we love our new bathroom. We will definitely have HMFH install new doors for us throughout our house. We are please with not only the beautiful work that was done, but the cost as well. Thank you Javier and Stephen!!!

Went well. Javier was on time, friendly and cheerful, and when I pointed out an area that wasn't perfect, he immediately fixed it to my satisfaction.

Although the lastest price was just $75 for one hour of work, this project has stretched on for a couple of months as I have had time and funds available. I have a list and prioritized it. Usually the work has been performed in 4-5 hour blocks. I still have a number of items to be accomplished. What I like most about HMFH is that I can work through my list without having to pay for everything at one time as with a contractor. I have been using HMFH for a number of years and thus have worked with several employees. All of the work has been superb. On this stint Rene has been the provider: I told him what I envisioned and he implemented what I envisioned. I took 2 five panel doors and had them installed over a window and put crown mounding at the top. He framed it out so that it looks like a grand wall in back of my headboard. That completed he removed mirror doors from closet and installed copper pipe as a rod to hold draperies; removed one pocket door and pushed the other one into the pocket and trimmed it out because I was concerned about having an opening in the wall. I had installed an curved shower rod and it did not stay up in place and he solved the problem by drilling a hole in the metal holder and putting in a screw to hold it in place. My house was built in 1900 and requires a bit of maintenance from time to time in addition to the "improvements" I constantly dream up. Since finding HMFH several years ago, I have not had any of the problems I encountered previously with other workmen. I am very happy with HMFH and anytime I have concerns, all it takes is a phone call to Stephen Capello to get it straightened out.

No work was performed. Response to Handy Man From Heaven to Angies List: Regardless of whether the offices were closed or they do work on flooded basements or not isn't the issue. This company should have returned my phone call when the office did open back up and let me know they did not do this kind of work, including an explanation on why they were not able to respond.

Once Eric made it to my house it was great. There was a scheduling snafu where paperwork was not communicated correctly and no one showed up until 11:30 when my appt was scheduled for 9am. But I was very pleased to call on a Monday and have them be able to schedule me on a Saturday as there is only 1 handyman who works Saturdays. Eric was very cool and knew his stuff. Explained the billing process to me and asked me to prioritize the projects. Got the motion light working for me and the blinds up, he even went through several of his own drill bits because whatever is holding those windows in place is rock solid hard! He also told me the reason my door was not closing properly was because the owner I bought the house from did not install the doorframe plumb. Being a carpenter by trade Eric told me he would be able to adjust the whole doorframe without having to pull it out and do it over, but needed additional tools he didn't have with him that day as he wasn't driving his usual truck. Since he needed to come back anyway he also didn't do the tub because I had white grout and what's already in the tub is grey so he said he could get a grout that matched the existing. He also offered to adjust the blinds for me (all the extra slats at the bottom) as well. He then asked if I preferred him to come back or one of the other guys, he didn't assume which was good. He also explained to me that since he was coming back on an existing job I would not have to pay the initial $220 again and billing would start at the standard rate per hour. Again I was able to call on a Monday and get scheduled for this Saturday so hopefully the timing will work out this week. Overall I recommend HHFH and highly recommend Eric!!

He found some issues regarding the electrical work the previous home owner had done and fixed that. He explained what he was doing the entire time and did an excellent job.

I called Handyman from Heaven and spoke with a very nice man named Stephen. He listened to what I wanted done and we set up a date and time for a couple of guys to come out and take care of the jobs. When they arrive, they make you sign a form so the clock can start ticking. They give you two hours for your $220. You also must provide the payment in the beginning which I did. They then removed my oven hood, cut the wire so it can't be put back up (which was fine since I wasn't planning to use it again.) The older guy looked at the job in the 1/2 bath and decided he didn't want to re-route the pipes, but that he would just stick the wires back in the wall and hang our new light fixture that way. This is how it was done previously by the last owner and we wanted it done correctly so I told him no. So he told me to get a plumber for that job and they could come back and hang the light for me. Then they continued with the microwave installation, they opened the box the microwave came in and decided they couldn't hang it because it would need a dedicated line and I needed to call an electrician to have that done. So that was about 45 minutes. They didn't do anything but take down my range hood and tell me to call a plumber and an electrician. I did call a plumber and then an electrician, which they together costs me another $435. The electrician also hung the microwave for me. I call Handyman from Heaven back that same afternoon and told Stephen what had happened and that I would rather not have them back and not be charged. He was very nice but had to check with Tim Munson, the owner before he could say what they could do. He called me Monday to say they would be able to refund half of my payment $110. I feel the way they run their business is a little underhanded in that they weren't able to do the jobs they were sent to do and yet they charge you from the minute they walk in the door. Their motto is "When we're done, you'll be happy. If you're not happy, we're not done." Well they are done and I am not happy. I just want people to know what they are getting into with these two companies.
