They have a tremendous facility. It is the best I have ever seen. They have multiple staff in terms of doing everything from Lasik surgery to operations. They have a tremendous selection of eye wear. They are very professional and have really good equipment. It is better than I've seen anywhere else.

They've been great! They keep up-to-date on eye surgery/problems.

When I first went to see them, I could barely see and was highly sensitive to light. They've been treating me with eye drops to improve that and to help with the dryness. The doctor that I'm seeing is well trained and very patient. They're very calm to get you through this whole thing. My eyesight has improved 85% because of their treatment. I had no idea about the condition before I began seeing them. On a sidenote, there's plenty of parking!

Dr. Gormley was great, although I must say I felt like I was on an assembly line for the rest of my time in the office (i.e., preliminary prescription scan, glaucoma test, etc.). I was escorted to three separate rooms prior to seeing Dr. Gormley, so, except for the time with her, I didn't really feel like I was getting very personal service, although I suppose that's to be somewhat expected from such a huge practice with many doctors. No one was rude, just very businesslike. Everyone seemed very competent and professional, though, and I was treated well when I had to return two or three times to adjust my glasses.

It went very well overall. The best part, though, is the new glasses! The lenses are much higher quality than his previous glasses (from Target), and he says he feels like he is no longer looking "through" his glasses; he can simply see clearly. He is very happy. Since initially picking up his glasses, he has dropped back in the office for minor adjustments to improve the fit on his ears and service has been prompt and friendly.

Their doctors are very professional. It is very, very crowded because they are very busy. We will continue to use them.

Katzen Eye Group is branching out and now has Aesthetics by Katzen. I purchased a Groupon for three chemical peels and enzyme treatment. During the Groupon sale, the online rep told all potentail buyers that the business had evening and weekend appointments and that appointments should be scheduled two weeks apart (the Groupon said one week). When I booked the appointment, I was told that appointments should be booked two weeks apart, that they didn't make evening appointments for this particular service, and that they weren't booking weekend appointments during the summer because clients shouldn't be getting chemical peels and then laying out in the sun. I thought this was a bit of a bait and switch, but I went ahead and booked the appointment - taking time off work - because the money was spent. The first appointment was fine - they were timely, and the aesthetician was pleasant. I noticed no difference in my skin after the treatment, but it was only one treatment, so perhaps that is to be expected. I booked the next appointment - again, the reiteration that a two-week gap was necessary - for three weeks later at 4:15 - again, taking time off work. When I arrived, I was informed that they had switched computer servers and the system had dropped some information, and there was no record of me at all. Then one of the aestheticians (who happened to be sitting behind the desk) said that appointments had to be scheduled four weeks apart (I was holding some marketing materials that reiterated two weeks) and they don't book appointments for that service after 4:00 PM (the general implication clearly being that I must be mistaken - or lying - about my appointment). Fortunately, I had my appointment card, so they asked me to have a seat. About twenty minutes later, they said they couldn't possibly fit me in and that I would have to rebook. To be fair, the staff person seemed embarrassed and apologetic, but the aesthetician continued to have an attitude as though I were the one who had done something wrong. I opted to take no more time off work for this unpleasant experience - the Groupon had done its job of introducing me to a new business. No, thank you.

I had a Groupon and that's why I went. They were all right but they were really expensive, even with my coupon. It was fine but they seemed really busy, probably because of the Groupon. The doctor was good. They were available. I will go to someplace cheaper next time.

I had the surgery done because I believed I would not pass the Maryland driving test without corrective lenses or corrective surgery on my astigmatic eye. The PRK surgery went well and my eye watered and was dry for the few months but I have since recovered and have no side effects at all. I've been post operative now for about 5 months now. For the past several months, my corrected vision has been exclusively near sighted (I can see well up to about 2 feet in front of me) and though the doctors at Katzen have insisted that my far vision could still improve, it has not. I am not happy but not totally displeased as my atigmatism was originally bad for both near and far at best 20/60 or so and the near vision I now have is around 20/30. But my goal for the surgery was to be able pass any requirements for my still non-restricted driver's license and that remains in doubt. *** 10/14/2011 UPDATE: It has been about a year and a half now and the vision as a result of the PRK I underwent has very slowly improved beyond my initial report. It has gotten to about 20/25 with some periods of dryness and mild ghosting still rarely occurring. My PRK eye is defintiely the weaker of my two eyes. But I am certain at this point that I will pass the vision test for my driver's license when the current 5 year period expires. I will update if there is further improvement.

Thorough exam. Pleased with prescription. Had to wait awhile and the front desk clerk was terribly rude on multiple occasions. Everyone else was friendly and helpful and I love that it's a one-stop-shop. The OD Baziz could use a bit more bedside manner though.

I originally went to a different doctor who frustrated me for several reasons. I got fed up and went to Katzen as recommended by a friend. It was the best decision. They were helpful and polite. They have eye surgery down to a science, understood my insurance and flexible spending account. I felt taken care of, got a reasonable price and felt perfectly comfortable. Thank you Katzen!!

I was early for my appointment but even though the office was very busy I did not wait more than 5 minutes. I was first escorted into a small room for a pre-exam by a technician who conducted an initial screening and prepared my chart. Then I was taken into a different exam room where I met the phyisician. My pupils were dilated and after a short wait for the drops to take effect the physician returned and completed the exam. I had a short list of questions prepared; all of my questions were answered with clear and detailed responses. I did not find any eyeglass frames to my liking so I did not buy eyeglasses from them this time.

They are very helpful. The prices can be average to high on the price. There are plenty of staff to assist you in picking out frames and to help you with getting your lens and prescription. They are all very friendly and thorough. This is an excellent and very professional group of people who always make themselves available and do their best at making you feel comfortable. I will continue to use their service in the future.

I found them to be very person-centered. They were aware of who I was. They answered my questions quite well without trying to dodge around them. Generally speaking, they gave very good service. The staff is friendly. The facilities are easy to get to and there's good parking. The office is very open and there's a lot of waiting room. It's as enjoyable as it can be.

They were very willing to talk with me and explain things to me. They are very good at taking very technical information and making it so that I can understand it. They always make you feel very individual and special. They are just great. They do a very good job.

I liked this facility a lot! The staff was friendly and cordial and my doctor was wonderful. They were very helpful and explained everything to me. I would recommend this facility.

My husband said he would recommend this group. The last time he saw them he had an eye infection. They successful treated the problem. Katzen is easy to get appointments with.

Poorly. Dr. Adler very unconcerned about poor outcome. I subsequently went to another doctor for correction. Would definitely not recommend.
