American Lifts and Remodeling

I am disabled & avoid steps whenever possible. When we bought a house we loved in every other way, we ended up with steps from my back porch to the backyard. American Lifts responded quickly & assessed our need better than anyone else we called. They helped us realize that a ramp was not going to work well for us. The lift the suggested & installed is perfect! They we're able to service us quickly even though the weather was not particularly cooperative. I would definitely use them again, & recommend them to others.

I called Jim from American Lifts and Remodeling for an estimate on my house. Jim met me at the work location promptly and on time. We walked through the entire house and went through my check list of items. Jim was very knowledgeable and pointed out problems and better solutions that I had not thought of. He was quick to provide me with a thorough estimate, that actually detailed the cost of every single item. After I received the estimate I was so impressed with his detail and the price, I chose Jim over 5 other contractors that I had seen. Fortunately, before I ultimately purchased the house, a hurricane brought high winds and rain to the Baltimore area, and the roof/flashing issues were much larger than we originally thought and the house actually flooded. I terminated the contract on the home and moved on to the next. If I had not, I am sure Jim would have performed an excellent job.
