Description of Work: Bought an Angie's Big Deal for four man hours of landscaping/yard work. I had some large bushes that needed shaping and general cleanup of beds in my front yard.

Description of Work: Our association began with a coupon for mulching last fall . After they performed the work I requested a follow-up for a discussion of some landscaping. We had Mulberry Bush do landscaping in our front and back yard as well as correct a drainage problem we had in our yard this past spring. Work included a plan and design, creating new beds as well as refining existing beds, and correcting a drainage problem in our backyard. Plantings included flowers, bushes and several trees. They also placed several large rocks and stepping stones in the landscape. The drain problem involved digging up ground and placing a drain pipe that would carry the pooling water away from the yard. This was followed by placement of river rocks and landscaping to complete the work. We also had sod laid down in areas of the backyard that were thin on grass.

Description of Work: The team completed weeding, tree trimming, hedging, and a variety of landscaping activities. I decided to purchase and add mulch myself, but they did the rest of the work. They also disposed of the waste.

Description of Work: The crew arrived on time. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but they went at it like a tick to a dog. Finished ahead of schedule and performed additional work to utilize the amount of time purchased through an Angie's List coupon. I would recommend their services to anyone and would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased the 4 man hours of service during one of the advertised deals promoted to Angie's List members for $199.00. When I made the first follow up phone call I had a very pleasant exchange with a woman who assured me that my work could easily be completed in the amount of time provided in the contract. I had an area of overgrowth to clear out of my back yard. It took a couple of weeks following the call for me to meet with Joe to look at the area. He asked if I would be interested in expanding the project and suggested some ways to make my back patio larger and the area more attractive. We agreed that I would spray Round Up over the area I wanted to have cleaned out and to call once things had died off. In the interim - for financial reasons - I decided not to move forward with any updates or expansions and just have the designated area of the yard cleaned out. It took several weeks to get the work scheduled. When the team arrived - with Joe - he indicated that the man hours to complete the work, in addition to the costs for hauling away and disposing of the debris - would go beyond the scope of my contract (since there were 3 men - what I paid would only cover 1 hour and 15 minutes of work) I agreed to pay an additional $350 to have the work completed. The area was cleared and the debris was hauled away. I have a pile of gravel that Joe said he would gladly use but they did not take that with them as planned. My overall experience was disappointing. I think the organization may have been overwhelmed by the number of deals sold during the promotion which had an impact on their responsiveness - but to have the cost more than double at the last minute was a tough pill to swallow.

Description of Work: Two men stopped by for nearly two hours to do some yard trimming and maintenance. A small tree was replanted. I purchased the offer specifically because I was interested in the consultation on some trees on my property that I wanted to identify. The owner said he would honor that part of the offer when he called to check on the work so I anticipate at some time he can stop by for that part of our service.
