+ 0 moreWe will use them again because our things are with them in the storage. I was disappointed. I did not pack the things correctly so all my things were in storage. We tried to retrieve some of the stuffs but it was not possible. They were great. They didn’t have any back support equipment to put under the furniture to lift it. I was really concerned about that. I asked the guys about that and they said that their company did not supply them that. I was disappointed on that part. The workers were great. They were nice gentleman. They did some kitchen and picture things. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: We used Movers USA probably on 1st of July. It was a Saturday or Sunday. They do moving and storage.

Description of Work: I RECENTLY MOVED LOCALLY IN MARYLAND FROM MY APARTMENT IN ODENTON TO A NEW TOWNHOUSE IN HANOVER, MD. THE QUALITY OF SERVICE I GOT FROM MOVERS USA WAS OUTSTANDING. THEY ARRIVED AT MY APARTMENT ON TIME ( WHICH WAS VERY IMPORTANT AS I HAD LIMITED TIME RESERVED FOR THE ELEVATOR ), AND IMMEDIATELY GOT STARTED IN PACKING MY THINGS. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOW FAST AND EFFICIENT THEY WERE. THEY PACKED EVERYTHING SO DELICATELY, AS TO ENSURE NOTHING WOULD GET DAMAGED. THEY LOADED MY THINGS TO THE TRUCK AND THEN UNLOADED AT MY NEW HOME IN HANOVER. EVEN AFTER A LONG DAY OF MOVING AND PACKING THEY STILL HAD THE SAME ENERGY TO UNPACK EVERYTHING, ASSEMBLE FURNITURE AND POSITION EVERYTHING IN THE RIGHT ROOM ACCORDING TO MY INSTRUCTION AND THEY WERE JUST AS EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS AS IN THE MORNING WHEN THEY JUST STARTED! Description of Work: I recently moved from my house in sunny California to a new home in beautiful Maryland and spent a long time searching for the best, most reliable moving company. I found Movers USA online last minute and their performance absolutely exceeded my expectations. They sent a great crew of movers to my house. They were professional, friendly and most of all efficient. They arrived at my house on time and went straight to work. They were courteous, respectful and quick. They were more than willing to go above and beyond to get the job done perfectly. Overall they were exceptionally polite and thorough in the packing and moving of my belongings. We hired Movers USA to do all our packing to relieve me and my family from the hassle and stress of packing our things the right way. When my belongings arrived in Maryland they were in great condition, nothing was broken or damaged in any way. I was so relieved, especially because they were coming all the way from California!

Description of Work: Moved an upright piano and bench, 2 end tables, a coffee table, 1 lamp, six small, 1 medium box. Picked goods up in Maryland and delivered to Alabama. Delivery was on time within a few hours, moving men were very polite and helpful. Piano has not been tuned yet, but goods appear to have arrived in same condition as when picked up. Price was as estimated except for a small charge added for distance from truck to home. I would use this company again. They were patient in answering all my questions, prompt, and professional.

+ -1 moreHorrible! I called to arrange moving to an apartment building next door. I was transferred a couple of times and the people didn't speak English too well. I finally got Ronny who wanted all of my information first (phone number, email, etc). When I said I wanted to get an estimate first before giving him all of my info., he said, "well, maybe we aren't the company for you". So I gave him all of my information and he then said the company only does long distance moving. What a waste of time!

Description of Work: The entire staff of Movers USA provided a great service from start to finish. Right on time the movers arrived at my house the morning of the move, which was a great relief. I had a few pieces of furniture that needed to be safely wrapped before being moved and was very satisfied to have them thoroughly and efficiently protected. The entire moving process took only about 6 hours and the final price was right on spot with the original estimate.

+ -1 moreOverall they did a good job. The cost was much more than estimated. They estimated $630 but at the end the cost was close to $1100. Most of the additional cost was due to more time and some disposable items (tape and plastic) which were way overpriced. I originally got this deal from Angies List as it had 10% discount. At the end the cost much more than the previous movers (about one year ago) which did the same work for $500 less and about the same time and with more disposable items. It bothered me that they took some breaks (which was OK as it was very hot), but I ended up paying for that time.
Description of Work: We moved from a town home to single family home. We wanted the movers to take the big items. They wrapped couches and mattresses a moved everything to the other place.

Description of Work: From the get go my move was going to be complicated, so I knew I have to choose a company that I will feel safe with, as well as being flexible to my needs. I got recommendation from my realtor agent to use Movers USA, so I decided to contact them to set up a visual estimate. The estimator who came was very professional and polite; he took the time to listen to my needs and explained everything in details. They offered me a great solution: since my home was not sold yet, they advised me to have two stages move; at first stage only few big items will be removed to their storage so I can prepare my house for staging and showing. Once my house is sold, they will come, pack the rest of my stuff and move everything to my new house in Sykesville, MD. I thought it is a great solution. The estimator also left me booklet with useful information. Compare to two other estimators that came, Movers USA’s Estimator was the most professional; I have antiques as well as precious piano so specialized packing was very important. On the first day the movers showed up on time, they were nice, quick, energetic, pack everything needed remarkably and even when we added more last minute furniture, they took everything with a smile and patient. 2 weeks ago, we were ready to move to our new house, even though they told me they are very busy in July, they were able to accommodate our dates. They came out again, different movers but same great attitude, packed everything and the next day deliver everything to the new house. So everything went smooth, all our things got to the new house exactly in the same condition they left our old home. Such a stressful process went great thanks to the professional movers of Movers USA. We sincerely thank them from the bottom of our hearth for everything they did for us and warmly recommend them for anyone who is planning to move!

Description of Work: I used MOVERS USA INC but they refused to take glass, prepared but not boxed punched hole in ceiling and tore leather couch, broke end on teak sofa tables taped back on but did not report.

+ -1 moreThe move went very well and the actual cost was almost exaclty the amount of the estimate. The estimated time was actually a little less than the estimated time. I would suggest the company let customers know that they charge for wrapping furniture but they try to add enough into the estimate to cover that cost. I only had one problem with a desk that was missing some screws after the move, which is why I gave a B instead of A for quality.
Description of Work: The move was for a 3 bedroom apartment.

+ 0 moreExcellent Job Done!!! I recently moved from Rockville MD to Pikesville MD. I had to relocate a large household and a storage unit that was belong to my parents and was locked for 5 years... From start to end they were professional, efficient and quick. They packed everything quickly; everything arrived to my new home in the exact way it was... Even the most delicate Chinas that were belong to my grandmother and I was extremely worried about... They were even able to provide me last minute storage for 6 weeks until my new home would be available... Movers USA did a wonderful job! This is the second time we have used Movers USA for a large move. They took the time to explain what they are doing every step of the way. The driver and the helpers always take the time to pack everything really well and yet they are the most affordable company that we have worked with. Every single piece of furniture got to the right place at the right time and in good condition. And the cherry on the top: they offered me Carpet Cleaning service for my old house as well as to the new one at a great rate, so at least they got this part of my 'To Do List' done...And they did a great job with my carpets!!! Once again, a great service provider that people should know of. Thanks to Angie's List I was able to find some good service providers, so whoever is using this site deserve to know about Movers USA and I am glad I have the stage to share this info... I hope in the future I will be able to share more great information for whoever use this site.

From the moment I contacted Movers USA I knew I am in good hands, from their customer service, to the movers and all the way to a job well done for a very reasonable price I am very happy with their service.
Description of Work: I used Movers USA to move from a 2 bedroom condo to their storage facilities. Everything went smooth, the movers were very polite and wrapped all my furniture very carefuly. You could tell from the start that the movers that came to my home were true professionals and they were lifting my heavy furniture with relative ease.
