Excellent - everyone exceeded expectations and was fast, polite, etc.

On 10/28/13 at 3pm, I started to call several movers from Angie's List to request info about transporting my electric wheelchair from my home in Columbia MD to my condo in Delray Beach FL. USA Movers was willing to pick up the same day. from my home., crate it, store it until the next large shipment was scheduled to Florida that MY CHAIR could be added to. Other movers were not willing to come into my home and crate the chair or in anyway pack it unless we paid an extra fee. And scheduling would be difficult, as would be storage if needed. USA Movers included itt all in the one price. They came promptly at 7pm that same night and within one hour had wrapped, crated and removed the chair using a ramp from my home, completed the paperwork of the details we had discussed on the phone, and left. It was important that they come so soon as we were leaving for Florida within the week. Although they had no trucks scheduled for Florida at hat time they agreed to store the Chair safely until it could be shipped, sometime before May. Throughout the entire process the team was professional, polite, and competent in their work. the communication between the dispatcher and the driver was excellent and it turned out that the driver who picked up in Maryland ended up being the actual driver who delivered to us in Florida, He was an extremely competent and efficient worker, I RECEIVED A CALL ON November 20. informing me that the chair would be delivered on Friday the 22nd. the driver called promptly at 7:45am Friday and the chair was delivered on November 22 - much earlier than we had hoped to our delight. they had gotten a number of new scheduled transports to south Florida tat my chair could be added to and they were looking out for me, I don't understand earlier bad ratings. this company was flawless.

I contacted this company via my request in Angie's List. An employee called me back the next day. I told him what I wanted moved and told him that I could send him pictures of the furniture. He said that based on what I was saying that the approximate cost would be about $800 to $1000. And that he recommended that I use 4 men at $110 an hour. That I would have to pay for travel time from their location to my home in Timonium, Timonium to Annapolis and then from Annapolis back to their home location. About 2 hours of travel time. I said that was fine and that I would get him the pictures. He provided me with an email address to send them too. They knew my time frame and they have my contact phone number if they needed to get back to me. About 3 days later I was able to get the pictures and send them to him. There was no response back. I attempted to contact him but again -- no response back was received. I was running out of time so I reserached another company on Angie's list that would do this move for me -- the other company was great and cheaper!

They did a great job. They came early at 7:50/8:10 am window, they moved a two bedroom apartment to a second story house apartment. They were able to get the big pieces of furniture downstairs, moved our stuff to house and assembled the book shelves. Great experience!

Jim, the estimator, was prompt, very easy to work with and was willing to work with our schedules. The movers were on time, clean, friendly and seemed easy to work with. This was a large 3-day move and while expenses went over the not to exceed price that was quoted, they stuck to the quoted price of $15,000. We were packed out using additional crew members when necessary and they delivered all of our hosehold goods by the end of the third day using a total of 4 trucks. However, there were some problems with the packing and delivery. Many boxes were not marked as to what room they came from (or where they were going to) and were delivered to the wrong rooms/floors. A large number of our boxed house contents were put in wrong rooms on wrong floors, despite rooms in both homes being clearly marked as to their final placement. Several items were broken and our grandfather clock no longer chimes. Some heavy items were packed on top of breakables, some clothes on hangers were balled up and placed in regular boxes rather than in wardrobe boxes. Small items we had in containers to keep them safe were up-ended and dumped loose in boxes. Collectibles in pristine boxes were devalued by crushing the original boxes. They did not dismantle our Sleep Number bed, but rather moved it fully assembled, damaging components in the process. Also, they used the original boxes for the bed for messy garden implements, potting soil, etc. We still haven't found all our clothes or my wife's computer. In defense of MoversUSA, we never contacted them to let them know that anything was wrong and never gave them a chance to rectify the situation.

The team was on time, professional and highly efficient. Price quoted was price paid. Would use again! On top of this were the most economical of all the companies I looked at.

Luis and his crew arrived earlier than scheduled. They loaded and unloaded my belongings very efficiently and took care not to damage my belongings or parts of the house.

The provider was excellent at communicating with me regarding the details of the moving service they would provide. They gave me an accurate quote of the costs to me. They arrived on time. The movers were professional, polite, and efficient. They were competitive with other providers in cost. I will use them again for future moves.

I cannot say enough good things from start to finish everything was done professionally and politely. This is the first time moving day was not stressful.

It went very well despite having more stuff than anticipated.

Asked for an estimate for a move from an apartment to a condo. Person on phone wanted to give a ballpark figure sight unseen and call it a day. Was not open to checking out our furniture etc., to give a proper estimate. I have experienced this before and it does not go well at all.

Overall, the move went well. The crew was timely and very worked hard to accomplish the move quickly. They ended up going over the estimated time, but we apparently had more stuff to be moved than had originally been estimated. My only complaint is that one of the beds was poorly put together, and my husband ended up having to tighten up the connections to make it safe.

The crew was on time & took good care of my house hold. I am very satisfied with service on the Alexandria end.
