From the beginning, very helpful and full of guidance. Arrived on time, packed everything very well, and accommodating of changes. This was a cross-country move so made it very easy. A+!

The workers were on time, went right to work.

The movers did a great job and the office was very professional. The quote ended up being way off, which was frustrating, but the office worked hard to make it better / work for us, which I appreciated.

About a month before our move, we contacted several companies for moving estimates. Given that Movers USA was located in MD and we were in PA, they took an inventory over the phone instead of doing an in-person visit. At that time, Gil advised us that not all of our things would fit in the truck that they had available. They had similar weight and volume estimates as the other companies and those companies had not expressed a concern, so I wasn't too worried. We were also planning on renting a separate 10ft truck from Budget anyway, so I thought that would probably take care of some of the things that Movers USA thought might not fit. Movers USA had the best price, and a great review record on Angie's List, so we went with them in spite of that warning. Movers USA gave an arrival window between 9am-11am on the day of loading and they arrived on time, around 10am. We took the crew of 3 guys on a tour of the house and they advised that not all of our belongings would fit in the truck. I was a bit shocked and disappointed, but still hopeful that they were mistaken. I advised the crew to leave the basement for last, then we would fit as much as possible at the end. They worked quickly and professionally and did a good job at packing the truck - they were not leaving any gaps and packing very efficiently. Ultimately, they did not fit everything in the truck and we had to resort to borrowing a van from family to pack up the rest of our belongings. Crisis averted, but we were lucky. They finished loading around 5pm. The next day we were given an arrival window between 8am-10am for unloading and they arrived on time, around 9am. We again took the crew of 2 guys on a tour of where everything should go. They worked quickly and finished around 3pm. Some of our concerns: The furniture that they took apart to move was not reassembled correctly. We had an IKEA bed frame that fell apart after we slept on it the first night (it was an easy repair, but it was due to bolts not being tightened correctly). There were a lot of boxes located in the wrong rooms. I think this was due in part to one of the crew members not being fluent in English. We were available for questions the whole time, and also labeled rooms with sticky notes, but I think in spite of that, the language barrier caused some confusion. They didn't install the dryer stabilizer bolts even though we mentioned it to them several times. If that's not a service they provide, they just needed to say that instead of nod in agreement and say "ok" when we asked them to do it. They weren't as gentle as we would have liked with our bikes and boxes marked "fragile". One bike broke a spoke but none of our fragile items sustained any damage. Overall, the move went OK. There were a few things that we didn't quite like, but it could have been a lot worse. I would recommend them, with caution (see below). Words of advice: Ask what size truck they will be bringing and compare that to the size truck that other companies will be using. I thought comparing cubic foot estimates between companies was enough, but it makes no difference whatsoever if the tuck sizes aren't the same. You might be getting a bigger truck (and peace of mind) for a slightly higher price. Also, I would use caution if you are impressed with the number of reviews this company has. After delivery of our belongings, the crew instructed us to write our review for Angie's List in front of them on a form that the home office would enter in for us. Personally, I wasn't comfortable with that and declined, but I still needed to write a statement that I would complete a review online at a later date. Wow, no wonder they have so many reviews! They're a good company, they're not a phenomenal company. Just keep that in mind.

The agent interviewed me on the phone about how much furniture we had to move and then gave us an estimate of the cost for the move. The move actually cost a few hundred dollars less than the estimate. They gave me the moving date I asked for, even though they were already full for that day. The movers arrived early in the arrival window and finished loading within the 9.5 hours they had estimated the move would take. The moving men were very nice, very professional and strong enough to do the job without losing endurance. They were very careful with our belongings, wrapping items to prevent damage. They put all the furniture back together and placed it where we wanted it in our new home. They were careful not to bump or scrape walls. We had no breakage. These movers were gems and I will certainly use them again next time I move.

The move went well. Gil was very responsive getting us estimates and able to reschedule our move when we had to switch dates. The four guys showed up on time, packed everything and got us moved in approximately 7 hours. They were professional and courteous. We would definitely use this company again.

Crew was on time and very professional and efficient from beginning to end. They were a pleasure to work with, as were our salesman. Informative and worked diligently to make a stressful time much easier. We hope it goes this well when our things are delivered in California!

They confirmed details, sent confirmation emails and even called a day before the big move to see if I have any further questions. On the day of my move, however, the customer service I received was even better! Personable, professional, thorough, and gracious. I HATE moving. So when I choose a moving company, it is a BIG deal for me and my family. Movers USA was a recommendation from Angie's List and boy am I glad to have been introduced. First, I believe a company has to be fair, honest, trustworthy and communicative. Gil and the Movers USA team were exceptional in all these regards. They were there when that said they would be there, they treated our belongings as if they meant as much to them as they did to us. The packing job alone was impressive. But i have found that your really find out about a company when things don't go exactly to plan. As will happen with a move, there were a few minor mishaps. Mover USA were there with a real sense of assurance that all would be made right......and it was. I still HATE to move, but I now have a resource that I trust and would use again without hesitation, I would strongly recommend that you give Movers USA a call the next time you need these service. You will not regret it.
