Description of Work: It went very well overall. We did have one mishap where a piece of furniture was slightly damaged, but they took the piece of furniture with them and fixed it within a week and delivered it back to the house. Overall the gentleman that moved the furniture worked extremely hard and were very professional and friendly. I would recommend in the future.

Description of Work: On the front end, I would give them an A plus. The rep who coordinated my move was very helpful and flexible. Items had to be picked up in two locations, and I forgot a whole group of things stored in my basement. He arranged for a pickup the following day at no additional charge. I moved across the country, and my things arrived on the earliest of the estimated dates. A few things were thoughtlessly packed resulting in the base of a Knoll side table being ruined and some damage to two art objects. I was able to have the art repaired at a small cost, but a new table base cost $480. |The grading down to a "B" comes from my dealings with them from this point and mostly stems from a large original oil painting I received which did not belong to me. I contacted them and was instructed to send it to them via Fedex. Fedex put it in a box specifically designed for fine art, which turned out to cost in excess of $300. I might have questioned this but did not know better. This began months of phone calls, mailings, unmet promises to call me back, etc. They were not going to cover the cost of sending the art until I threatened a low rating on Angie's List. I can't recall the exact amount or the exact date, but they finally paid me about $400 (for the shipping charge and a few dollars toward the table base) about mid-Sept.

Description of Work: Moved a full 3000 square ft home and garage from a Washington DC 3 story row house to a Falls Church, VA single family home. Same day local move ( approx. 15 mile distance). This is a great team of people: everyone from Megan, Jim, and Ray who all helped us in setting up and planning the move date. Jim"s pre-move survey at our home was thorough and the end price was highly accurate to his recommended approach and initial cost estimate. They were extremely professional, responsive, and friendly. Everyone on the moving team, led by Alberto, we're absolutely top notch. They arrived on time, even calling ahead to us to provide an ETA. And they finished within 8 hours which was amazing to us with everything we had to move. From the moment they arrived we knew we were in great hands. They took care with all our belongings and assured all was (very) satisfactory with us throughout the day. their coordination and communication with us was great through every phase of the day's progress. We will use these movers again and fully recommend them to anyone considering a move. They are a fortunate find, thanks to searching Angie's list. They truly earn the highest feedback possible, thank you so much!

Description of Work: They moved me from Maryland to Tennessee and they were wonderful start to finish. Angel was the lead and very professional he was cautious and caring with my family's items. Everything made it to Tennessee safe and sound. I would completely recommend them and you work with Angel It's huge bonus.
