PERFECT, AGAIN! During the renovation of our pool, we decided to extend the deck area of our Anthony/Sylvan pool. With the help of their renovation specialist, Hart Berkowicz, we double the area around the coping and created two areas for chairs & a picnic table. Hart's suggestions and experience help create a beautiful environment for us to enjoy our newly renovated, up to date pool. The crew from R&D Masonry did an excellent job too, were prompt, courteous and extremely hard working. The deck they created is absolutely beautiful!!! If you are considering a pool renovation, or adding a new pool to your home, Hart Berkowicz is the person to call.

PERFECT! No delays, crews always punctual, clean, neat, courteous, respectful. Truly enjoyed the experience of having pool built. Fun to watch crews create an oasis out of a patch of grass.

IT WENT FABULOUS!! We chose Sylvan Pools AGAIN because the experience we had when we installed our pool in 1986 was such a great experience. Again, Anthony/Sylvan delivered. Our pool is more beautiful than when we initially had it built in '86. The coping, lighting, deck and finish are absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about Hart Berkowicz, he is a consummate professional, knows pools inside and out. His recommendations, insight, opinions and experience in pools makes him the perfect person to contact if you are thinking about installing a pool. Every crew member who worked on our pool was professional - they showed up on time, worked long, hard hours in the heat and humidity. From the demolition crew, the coping crew, deck crew (R&D Masonry), electrical, plumbing, and office staff are absolutely amazing. We had our pool installed in 1986 and have NEVER regretted it. The Company was quick to answer all our questions and very helpful. They even added extra tile to the stairs. The renovations far exceeded our expectations and the plastering and bonding I would highly recommend because it made our pool so beautiful and new again. We were able to pick out beautiful new tile for our entire pool. This pool was really built solid as when we took off the coping we were not sure what to expect, and it was in good shape with no structural damage so we just up-graded our look. We look forward to enjoying our Anthony & Sylvania pool for many years to come. I would highly recommend them to build or do your pool.

They also assisted with getting the permits we needed. It took about a month to complete a total custom pool and they clean up after themselves.They were also neat and orderly. They also coordinated with other contractors that had to put in a retaining wall to blend in with the pool and they made sure everything was to standard before they were done.

They had to build up the yard in order to put it in. They did an excellent job on that. The installation went very smoothly. It is as beautiful today as it was the day they installed it. We have never had any problems with the pool or any of the mechanicals. It's a chlorine free pool. It's pretty amazing to have a 25 year old swimming pool that is this beautiful. My kids were little when we had it put in and they still swim in it today with my grandchildren.

They always do a fine job. I will use them again in the future.

It went great. Could not have been better. Cleaned up and showed up on time.

It was good. They were good. They were usually on time. I always use one guy. His name is Keith. Since 2001, I have the same guy come out. He knows me and he knows what I need.

It was horrific, they did a poor service. I would never call them to do any other service.

In the end, the repairs looked very good. The process itself was a nightmare. The contract was signed in early May, with the understanding that the work would be finished in 3-5 weeks. There was a substantial delay in starting the work. Once the work was started, it was impossible to tell when the workmen would be there from day to day. On one occasion, I specifically asked if they would be there on a Saturday. I was told that they would be, so a family function was moved to another location. When we returned home, nothing had been done. The workmen showed up the next morning at 8:00 a.m. ( a Sunday ) with jackhammers while I had a houseful of guests. On this occasion, I did send them away, in consideration of my neighbors and guests. The cement truck left deep ruts in my back yard (and it could have been done from the driveway). Two dumpsters full of cement were left in my driveway until I called and asked why they had not been removed. In the meantime, they caused damage to the driveway. I was reimbursed for the damage to the yard and driveway, but only after pointing it out to the company and complaining. I guess they thought I wouldn't notice. It took the remainder of the summer for new grass to be established in the yard. The whole process was extremely frustrating, and it was not completed until Mid-July. I made phone calls practically every week to prod the process along or find out what the schedule was, and the schedule was rarely kept. I would not use this company again and I would not recommend them to a friend.

It also has a 340 gallon spa with a 500 square feet deck surrounding it. They showed up each day when expected and were always on time. They did a fantastic job and love the finished product. It went really, really good, they were super. the pool is beautiful and they always showed up on time, and were innovative.

We were very pleased with all of the workmanship - from the architect to the finishing crew. Construction was done on time and on budget with each person involved being quite professional and friendly to our requests. I was able to be on-site throughout most of the building process and was able to monitor pretty much every detail included in the pool. When a small "hiccup" occurred resulting in some footprints being left in the plaster finish, A & S, was prompt to remedy the situation. (A small rain storm that popped-up actually created the issue in the first place). As stated above, this was remedied and we are very pleased with the final product. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to build a backyard pool. After 5 years of use we are still quite satisfied with our pool and look forward to many, many more hours basking in the sun around our beautiful swimming pool. We do not use the company for maintenance - mainly because of a friendship that I have within another company that is much closer to our address. So, I cannot speak to the follow-up service of yearly maintenance.

The project went very well. On time, On budget. The work was done right the first time and they left my property clean and undamaged. They worked well with the county thru the permitting process and final inspection.

Anthony Sylvan built and have maintained our pool for the past 5 years. Our experience has been very positive. The pool is built in a manor that suits our unique landscape and fits into the design of the rest of our property. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and with the service provided. We are able to select the day of week that they come to service the pool and the team that comes out is consistent and, in my review, have been thorough and honest. If I have questions there is a number to call and I can speak to someone that knows me and is knowledgeable of our pool and configuration. In the unlikely event that there is a problem (we've had one in 5 years that turned out to be owner operator error) they immediately came out, at our convenience, and resolved the problem. They are also very flexible when we have needed to alter service dates. All of our experiences have been positive and we plan to continue our relationship with Anthony Sylvan,

We had bad experiences with them so we don't use them anymore.

They have a good sales team that comes out and makes all these promises but don’t deliver. They do a hard sell, and once I started having problems, I had a difficult time connecting with them. They wouldn't return my call or come out. I gave up on them. I didn't feel like the quality of the work was there and the warranty wasn't honored.

The representative showed up on schedule, had really done his homework and was highly professional. Based on this meeting I would have felt confident working with them, however, on this particular project their price was significantly higher than other companies.
