I was not home while the work was being performed. They showed up just after I left for work (when they said they would) and completed the job just prior to my return from work... about a 10.5 hour period. They watered the new lawn and cleaned up the area very well. Couldn't tell they had been there with the exception of the beautiful new grass. I was very concerned about laying sod in the summer time, especially because we were going to be out of town the week after it was installed. We ended up having a very hot spell, 95-100 degree temperatures that week. But, thanks to Brian, several conversations/text messages later, we figured out how to set up an automatic sprinkler configuration that covered the entire area and kept the area watered well enough that it didn't die. It's been 3 weeks since installation and still looking pretty green, considering the hot summer sun...and it is starting to grow!!!

A large maple in the front yard had been showing signs of disease for a year. An ice storm last winter pushed it over the edge. I called four companies listed in Angie's List. Rock Spring was the most responsive and the least expensive. Brian and a crew of three showed up on the agreed date and got to work immediately. They worked non stop and all day following. The slowest part of the work was setting up the crane to remove the top. They cleaned up the street and the yard at the end of each day. They removed the cuttings. They were polite and careful not to damage anything. Brian promised that they would return and grind down the stump when they were next in the area. This has yet to be accomplished. Except for this lapse I would use them again without hesitation.

Brian was exceptional. Came to measure and went over entire process. Came back a few weeks later to address pre-installation concerns with my general contractor. Arrived on time for installation. The crew of 4 started at 9 AM and did not leave until the job was done to my satisfaction at nearly 7:00 PM. Brian himself did all the actual sod placement. The end result is a spectacular lawn. Now my neighbors won't have to stare at an eyesore!

They removed a tree off of my roof and cleaned up afterwards. They did a good job.

They did a beautiful job in a timely fashion, for a better price than other landscapers. I would definitely use them again. They were very professional and knowledgeable about landscaping.

Staff showed up on time, introduced themselves and were polite. Brian is a hands on person and actively contributed to work as well as provide direction. Operator of skid steer front end loader from Ray's Landscaping was very good, fast yet careful. Although it was late fall for planting a lawn, the seed germinated and I have medium coverage now 6 weeks later. Seed was covered with 2 very large woven poly mats in the main drainage swale as well as traditional straw in perimeter areas to prevent erosion in the event of heavy rain. Buried 25' drain hoses from 2 gutter downspouts at low to improve runoff and control erosion. Overall a high quality job at a fair price. Quote was best value from 3 received.

He scheduled a date sent us to the nursery to see Alison. Very pleased with the results. We have had multiple compliments from neighbors and even people passing by our home. Brian was wonderful, very professional and very knowledgable about his profession. Everything went as planned very happy with the results.

From the first contact in late July until the completion of last phase of work on September 21, Brian Warfel has given his personal and professional attention to all of my questions and concerns. He patiently expanded the scope of the original project to include additional impromptu landscaping ideas and services that I requested -- the removal of those large trees and quot;cleared my mind and made room for new possibilities.and quot; Brian gave practical recommendations in keeping with my need for realistic upkeep and affordability. Brian was punctual from the first consultation visit to the last service visit. Brian and his crew are extremely polite and respectful and pay attention to detail. They treated our yard like their own. Brian did an excellent job taking out many trees on our property and trimming back the overgrown trees and shrubbery. Stumps were completely ground out and removed. Top soil fill and then landscaping mulch. Top grade mulch.....no weeds!!!!! We were very pleased. Brian is very knowledgeable of all the tree species we have, and was teaching us as he worked on our property. Brian and his crew worked on our yard over the course of three weeks in stages, and every single plant they planted and tree they trimmed is absolutely beautiful. Nothing died, nothing was stressed or wilted. We are very very pleased with Brian's tree services and his landscaping services well. We HIGHLY recommend Brian to everyone we meet.

I called around and Rock Spring Landscaping and Tree Experts came in with one of the lowest quotes and they did an excellent job. The communication was great, Brain called me and made arrangements to come out to my home to do an estimate at a time that worked for my schedule. He showed up on time and explained the process and what needed to be done in detail. I was given a written quote the same day and I had the work completed early the next week. The crew showed up when scheduled and did an terrific job. They were professional and cleaned up all the debris and wood off the property after the trees were removed. My next door neighbor was also impressed and asked for Rock Spring Landscaping phone number to call them about getting a tree cut down on their property.

Very good. I was very impressed. Very professional and crew spent an entire day (plus some) on job. It was not an easy task and I wasn't expecting such a thorough weeding job as the back garden had gone almost two years and some weeds had become saplings. I am impressed and will be putting this company on my must-call list for fall and spring cleanups/muching.

The team brought my yard back to life. They were professional and responsive throughout the entire process, and very patient with my changing opinions. Also the price was extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes that I received. I would definitely use their services in the future.
