Description of Work: I purchased a $119 deal for a chimney sweep and Inspection in December 2014. The service went fine. They also gave a bid for repairs I thought it was too high. Two technicians came out for the work.

Description of Work: American Professional Chimney cleaned the chimney and inspected. They found cracks in the exterior masonry and also a need to parge (coat) the inside of the smoke chamber and resurface the crown at the top, outside. I could see the cracks and the need for coating myself, so I had them do the work. They took my observations and questions into account and gave me a fair estimate. It took a couple of visits (various jobs, bad weather, cold etc.), but they were very responsive and prompt in finishing as quickly as possible. The teams were Rudy/Alonso, Howard/Pedro, and Oscar--all very good and helpful. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Straight forward cleaning of our wood stove and chimney. They responded on time, performed the service, and had no major concerns.

Description of Work: They replaced a cracked chimney liner and cap, as well as re-pointing the firebox. Excellent work. On time and excellent service. Very neat. Even came back to complete one small overlooked item that they identified that I would not have noticed. Strongly recommend. Felt they gave a solid estimate with no unnecessary items.

Description of Work: American Professional Chimney and Masonry did an excellent job cleaning the fireplace and inspecting the chimney. They provided me with a report of future work and potential safety issues with using the fireplace prior to the completion of the work. I may use them in the future to address those issues. They were easy to work with, were very accommodating of my schedule, arrived on time and completed the work within the projected time for the project. Overall, they provided excellent customer service and I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Chimney Cleaning. All went well, performed services as advertised. Cleaned chimney from the inside, then climbed onto roof, took pictures, gave recommended repairs with estimate. No pressure to buy though, which I appreciated.

Description of Work: The company did a chimney sweep and inspection of my fireplace. They did a good job with the sweep; however, after they did the inspection they left a rather pricey quote to fix what they found wrong. They recommended lining the fireplace and replacing the flute. However I don't use it enough to warrant spending almost $3300 to fix what they recommended.
