The person that set up my initial appointment was very nice. The first maintenance call the technician came out, however didn't have the correct parts and had to order them. The parts came in right away, however it was my schedule that made me wait 1 week. I scheduled the maintenance visit and it was the same technician which is always nice. He installed the parts and performed the annual maintenance. Prior to this the garage going up or down was enough to wake the neighborhood. Now it is extremely quiet. I'm happy and I'm sure the neighbors are happy too.

They were awesome. I will use them and recommend them again and again! Called 20 minutes before arriving. Arrived 20 minutes later, very thorough and even retested to ensure I was satisfied.

After checking Angie's List, I called the top rated service. It was a bonus that Precision Garage Doors Inc. was also the closest to my address! I explained my problem and was advised by Henry that a service technician could respond that same afternoon between 12-3pm. He called, as promised, about 30 mins. before arrival to confirm the address. Derrick arrived on time as promised, and was able to do the necessary repairs in about 30 mins. In addition to the repair, he inspected my entire door, tracks, pulleys, cables, brackets and hinges, and even repaired the bottom weather seal. Derrick is a true professional. He is very knowledgable, efficient and thorough with his work, and very pleasant and polite. He represents his company very well and is a very valuable asset to them. I consider the price I paid for the service to be more than fair. I give Precision Garage Doors my highest recommendation.

Precision Garage Doors earned my A+ in responsiveness and quality! I called them to get on Wednesday afternoon for an estimate on repairing or replacing my two old garage doors. They sent a service at 10AM the next day. He thoroughly inspected the old doors, springs, seals and hardware. He carefully explained what needed to be replaced or repaired and how much each componant would cost. He also showed me each worn component and how it effected the overall good operation and safety of the door. Based on this evaluation, I decided it would be better to replace the doors & subsystems with new higher quality doors. I had already picked out premium tax-credit eligible insulated Clopay doors on the Home Depot web site just in case. Not only did Precision Garage Doors beat the big box store price, but they quickly sent out an installer with the exact same doors I wanted within an hour! The beautiful new doors with all new hardware and a 10 year guarantee were in place by 2:30PM the same day. Not only is the final product of very high quality, but the technician was very professional, fast, and cleaned up afterward.

Precision Doors replaced the garage door in what was a difficult job and took the workman a full day. The original door was just that - a heavy slab wooden door built in the 1930's with giant pulleys, etc. The workman did a fine job and cleaned up the area nicely.

Called for inquiry regarding installing a glue-down garage door threshold recommended by neighbors. The owner, Harry, spoke to me in detail and noted that a glue-down would be a bad idea. I emailed him photos of the garage door and he called back promptly to send one of his techs out for an estimate (free of charge) The technician, Derrek, provided an estimate for replacing the bottom rubber seal and performed a thorough 25-point safety check of the door. He recommended replacing the rollers since a few were loose and indicated the door would be much quieter as a result. I agreed and the service was performed the very next day. Derrick called prior to arriving and let me know he was running late, then again when he was 15 min away. Overall, excellent service and the door is very quiet now. I appreciate the owner taking the time to personally speak to me and would certainly use the company again.

I called on thursday for an appt and got one for saturday. The technician called when he was on the way and arrived timely. He replaced both safety cables with a heavier cable than the original. The warranty was also better than the original - 10 years on parts.

Excellent - came at time stated; cost was amount quoted; excellent work; courteous serviceman; had everything he needed to do the job, i.e. prepared.

They fixed the problem immediately, and were very nice about it. They did a very good job and said whatever they had done to fix it would only last two years because the garage door was so old. They turned out to be very good. It was not cheap, but we were willing to pay the price.

Jerard Barnett came to my home (he serviced my door opener on November 30, 2004 , also) He reviewed the operation of the motor, opened the unit, surveyed the damage, show it to me. Outlined remediation plan. (fix, replace, replace) and the cost of each option. He made the repairs quickly, then inspected the other door's operation. He finished. I was pleased.

I found them through Service Magic but checked them out with Angie's. They responded immediately to my request for an estimate, arrived punctually, actually did the work on the spot. The repair guys were professional and had a good sense of humor.

Needed replacement door. I called them because they had done repair work on my original door and left a sticker. The man came at 9 AM, was very knowledgable, had samples. As soon as I agreed to the work, they were on site within the hour. They completed the work with no one at home. I did lock the door to the inside of the house, but nothing in the garage was touched. When I got home from work I had a brand new, silent garage door. All old equipment was taken away and garage left neat and clean. (They used the existing opener, but replaced all the rails.) I didn't comparison shop, so I have no idea how their price compares, but they did a first class job. 10 year guarantee.

They did a great job. I got estimates from two other garage door companies. This one offered the lowest price. They also stood out as having more expertise about the garage doors, such as the advantages of polyurethane insulation over polyethylene. They were also the only one to mention that this door would be eligible for the energy conservation tax credit (I verified the claim by going to the Energy Star website) and provided me with the certificate I would need to claim it. The technician was quite punctual and did a flawless job of installing the door all by himself. He was very pleasant and professional. Also, when it turned out the wall control didn't work, he replaced that as well without extra charge. I can't think of anything that could have been done better. I would absolutely recommend this company to others.

Precision did a fantastic job and the man who came was friendly and personable. He was clean cut and very open and honest. The work was done efficiently and with a minimum of clutter and fuss. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

This company was not that professional at all. The guy that installed my garage door opener was very young and he even brought his girlfriend with him. They both rushed the job as it was like they were in a hurry to spend their Saturday morning elsewhere. I had to keep reminding them to do this and that. He used the wire over old stuff instead of using it over new stuff. I was not thrilled at all with the services rendered by this company and I would probably look elsewhere if I ever need anything for my garage in the future.

They told me that I would have to pay a $29.95 plus a $20 surcharge due to increased gas prices. When the tech showed up, he explained that they would have to release the tension from the spring, so it would cost me $275, plus the service call and gas surcharge. He then told me that he could not just re-install the cable. He said it would have to be replaced and that I should replace both cables at the same time or the other one might come off. The pair if cables would cost an additional $90 for the set. He then proceeded to tell me that the work would not be guaranteed. I told him to wait while I called his office to clarify the price I was given. I questioned the office staff why they didnt tell me the repair would be more since I told them that the cable was off the drum. Obviously if the cable is off the drum it needs to be put back on, so I didnt understand why they couldnt give me a better estimate that the $29.95 service charge plus parts.

Garage door in our new house broke (one of the huge springs flew off). Got an estimate from this company and had the work done in 2 days. They were about an hour later than their time window called for and we had to change family plans. Once they arrived, they worked quickly and seemed to do a good job. Cleaned up everything.

The technician was prompt, pleasant, efficient, and above all professional. A credit to his company and himself. He determined that the problem that was driving me crazy was so trivial to fix that submitting an invoice was unnecessary. You can't pay for advertising like that.
