Duane is very prompt and thorough. He explained everything as he went along. The main reason I chose this company was because the Angie's List reports were so positive. And when I e-mailed them, they responded the same day.

Duane was very nice but I was not greatly impressed with the job he did. I think this is more of a side line thing than a regular air duct cleaning company. The wet/dry vac cannot have done a very thorough job, the last time we had this done the company in DC had a serious huge vacuum hose that attached to a truck, so I don't feel like he necessarily removed a lot of the dust. Also, he had to cut a hole in the vents and it keeps popping open so I have had to try to re-tape it several times. Although he was nice, I really don't feel like it was worth $600 for the amount of work that took place and I feel like I probably need to have a more professional company come out a do it again.

Duane was easy to contact, made an appointment 2 days after I called him, he was on time, professional and personable (we chatted about our dogs), explained everything he was doing, performed the work in about a hour and a half, I definitely notice a difference in the air flow out of the vents and the house smells great.

The experience was very pleasant. He was nice to talk to, very professional, and very efficient in completing his work.

Duane was on time, fast, dependable and a pleasure to work with. He showed me how the heating system in the house worked and was great at answering all of my questions. I will definitely call him again!

After consulting Angie's List, I emailed Duane. He emailed back the same day (a Sunday) and then called a little later. We set up an appointment for the next day. My husband was home while Duane was here - I never actually met him - but he said that he was on time, professional, and personable. When I came home that evening, the house smelled fantastic! Having the ducts cleaned eliminated a musty smell that I had been trying to get out since we moved in. I believe Duane gave us a terrific deal on the work he did. Another company gave us a ballpark estimate of $300-$400 for the same job. Our house is small - just over 1000 square feet and I'm sure the size of the house helps determine the cost. My husband and I suffer from severe allergies - both indoor and outdoor. In the two weeks since the ducts were cleaned, we've noticed a huge improvement in our allergy symptoms. I'm completely satisfied with the work Duane did, and we will have him back every two years - as he reccommended.

Duane was very helpful. He did a walk-through of my house, provided the estimate and completed the work in just a couple of hours. He explained everything before he started working and reviewed everything that he had done and what he had found when he was through. He also provided very useful information to me on furnace filters. He did a terrific job, was very clean and efficient and his price was very competitive with the other companies. He was pleasant to deal with and he made feel comfortable with the work he was doing. I think he did a great job and already the house smells better and there is no dust coming out of the vents!

Duane was polite, prompt and fabulous. He explained just what services were needed and why. I went to work this morning and my husband stayed behind to supervise. I went home at 1pm and I could tell just by walking in the door that a great job was performed. I would definitely refer him to everyone and will consider having him as part of my annual maintenance routine!

Duane (the owner) was extremely thorough in his explanation of the job. He was able to come to our house the day after I called and complete the work in less than 3 hours. We have never had our vents cleaned, so he showed me what they looked like before and they were gross. This is the only company we got an estimate from so I'm not sure how competitive his price is, but it seems to be on par with what my research suggested. He does give a discount to Angie's List members.

I can't really comment on how well the work was done since I am not an expert in the area; can't comment on price because I got only one person to give an estimate for job. However, Duane responded instantly to my call and did the job the very next day at exactly the time he said he would show up. He wrote out an estimate in great detail before the work was done. On the estimate he had a section for sanitizing. I declined the sanitizing - not because of the price (about $300), but because I have a daughter and son sensitive to a number of things and I did not want the chemicals in the ventilation system. He offered to do the sanitizing for free because he thought that was the best job he could do...that amazed me. I told him it was not the cost, it was the chemicals and he graciously said he understood. Amazing.

Fabulous! I was so fortunate to find Duane. I called after seeing his great reviews and reached him immediately by phone before 8 a.m. He agreed to come the same afternoon. He called as I requested before arriving, and showed up on time. Once he diagnosed the actual problem (damaged ductwork), he offered to complete the job (although this is not his primary line of work). He priced it very reasonably and agreed to get the materials and begin work immediately. Over 3 hours, he made two trips for materials and replaced the vent professionally. He cut a hole in an existing heavy metal grate, installed a new covered vent screen and hood, ran 30 feet of duct, connected inside to flexible piping, and reconnected my dryer. He made sure the new vent was completely pest-proof, re-hung the inside ducts, and cleaned up after everything. I can't imagine what I would have done if I hadn't read Angie's List. Duane is personable, professional, neat, and honest. I will not lose his number!

My experience was pleasant and painless! I now know why you should have your air ducts cleaned at least once a year. YUK! I liked this company so much that I asked to be added to a yearly schedule so that he automatically comes and cleans. Also, the price will be much, much lower on return visits.
