This is a three generation family run business. Everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable. The project was completed right on schedule, in a very timely manner. The job consisted of repairing a pothole and cracks on my long driveway in front of the house. They also applied two coats of sealant. They did a beautiful job and paid attention to details. My neighbor complemented their work. He told me how fantastic my driveway looked after they completed the job. I will would hire them again.

I have a construction background myself. This was one of the most pleasant, yet professional crews I have ever seen execute such a skilled craft. They showed up in force, worked quickly, cleaned up completely and left an excellent result.

The owner is very fair and had his two grown sons work he job with him- It is a 4th generation company- family owned and operated with a great deal of care. The driveway looks spectacular, and we could not be hapiper!!!

These folks just paved my driveway and sidewalks today. They did a beautiful job. Very professional, courteous, very friendly. They arrived on time, performed all of the agreed services plus some. They cleaned everything up when they were finished. Job well done. I would definitely hire them again.

They weren't the least expensive but they did a quality job at our rental property that was well worth the price. They showed up on time, were very polite and cleaned up the site when finished. I definitely would use them again.

Excellent job! Creative solutions to handling several unusual issues associated with my particular driveway, which exceeded 5200 sq ft. Everyone worked really hard and completed the entire job in 2 days. The driveway and all the ramps look great and are really nice to drive on. Richard went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the final product. I am!

Bottom line - find someone else. As with the other reviewer, the company did not meet the written or verbal contract terms. Driveway work was not completed in the promised manner or time frame. We had agreed to having them seal the driveway, which was started 2 days after it was promised and not completed for another week, after many calls to find out what was going on. In the meantime, we couldn't park on our driveway. As with the other reviewer, weed killer was not applied thoroughly, which meant that grass ended up growing out of our new driveway. Richard had agreed to remove and take away railroad ties that had lined the driveway, but one had asphalt laid right on top of it and they never did take away the ones that they did remove. We had agree to pay for the driveway itself when it was done, but they charged us for the sealing at the same time, even though the work had not been completed. The man who started the company seemed like a straight-up guy, but his son Richard was a piece of work. He didn't return calls, argued with me about whether or not the work had been completed, finally agreed to give us a small credit for the inconvenience, but never did. When I called to follow up, he got nasty and told me that I was trying to take advantage of him. Not a man you want to do business with.

I had the chance to meet all three generations of the RJ Paving family recently. They are great people to deal with. They explained in pretty good detail on what they were going to do. Never once was there an issue and if I asked them to do something extra, they said "sure". My walk way in the back yard was in despicable shape until they paved it. What an awesome job. They came in with a bit higher estimate because all the work had to be done manually. My back yard did not have the capability of bringing in equipment. It was well worth it when I saw the results. The entire crew was great. This company is the real deal.
