Description of Work: I received the coupon of a full house plumbing inspection and fixing of an outside water spout. Two men came out. One, main guy, was very thorough in his discussion of problem areas with possible solutions. They were professional and efficient. I definitely plan to use them when I'm ready to get some of the issues found resolved.

Description of Work: Yesterday, the drain in the floor by our shop sink in the basement laundry room was overflowing and leaving black sludge behind whenever I ran the washer. I worked from home today, hoping to get a plumber out to fix it. When I was unable to get my usual Angie's list plumber, I contacted Elite Service based on their reviews and the discounts they offered. They told me they could come out early afternoon, but they called back around 10:45 and told me that they could come immediately... which I preferred. They arrived within the next half hour, came in and covered their shoes to protect my floors and carpet. They told me I had a sewage line blockage, and gave me an estimate with several scenarios. They were very upfront about the cost and worked quickly and courteously. They finished the job within the hour and I walked away spending the lowest of the three estimates they had given me. One heads up, if you're planning to use one of the Angie's List deals they offer, purchase it before you book them for service. They were unable to apply my discount because I purchased it while they were doing the job, and they pointed out the fine print on the certificate that said that it couldn't be applied to current jobs. So I didn't argue because I was at fault, and I was able to get a refund from Angie's List pretty painlessly. I would highly recommend Elite Service to anyone with plumbing issues. They were highly knowledgeable and the experience turned out to be a lot less of a headache than it could have been.

Description of Work: they just changed some of the inside of the toilet. I felt that it was way too expensive because I had a coupon and still ended up paying over $200.00 dollars. He was very pushy and I felt I could not trust him. |I would not use them again. They also gave me an estimate for a water heater and were by far the most expensive. Their price was $1300 and I got it done and installed for $725.00

Description of Work: It's hard to evaluate because the Deal was for a new outdoor faucet installment. The provider said he could only install a new one by tearing up walls in my basement. I have no idea if that is accurate. He said the leak could be fixed by replacing parts outside and said he would do it under the deal I purchased, so that was the service performed. I suspect I didn't get the true value of the deal, but I'm not a plumber so sometimes you have to trust providers. I don't have a leak anymore, however. They were late arriving but called to let me know they were running late.

Description of Work: Replaced two external hose bibs and a new main shut-off valve. It went fine. Just a little more expensive than I would have thought. Were here 2 hours and used $50 worth of parts. Their labor costs seem pretty high. Because of cost, probably wouldn't use again.

Description of Work: Job: outdoor faucet faucet leaky needed replacement due to bad vacuum breaker. Person from The Elite Service Plumber said for paid price of 149 completely external will be covered, in my case it is going to cost another 169. I requested for breakage based time material etc. He said it is based on job and the price is fixed not negotiable. He said only replacement will be done and part of internal and external wall may need to be removed. I told I will need more time to decide since breaking of the wall is needed. Thank god I did so since I was able to remove the bad vacuum breaker by cutting it out otherwise I would have spent another $500 plus for plumbing and wall repair. I was told when appointment was requested it will be between 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM but until I called around 2:00 PM I received no call or intimation about the arrival of the service person.

Description of Work: My shower handles were leaking. I wanted to do the job myself since it seemed like all I needed were new washers for the stems in the handles. I realized I did not have the tools I needed to do the job so I decided to find a quality plumber on Angie's list. I found a coupon for $75 off $150 of plumbing work from The Elite Service Plummber. I purchased the ticket and received a response email asking me to call and schedule an appointment. I called and was asked if they could call me back to schedule the appointment since they were involved in a service call at the time. I agreed and submitted a reminder on Angie's list to document the call. I received a return call later that day and scbeduled an appointment for an initial consultation. When the plumber arrived I showed him the dripping handles that I wanted fixed. He said he could stop the dripping, butthat it would be better if I replaced the entire faucet. He said it would cost around $950 to replace the faucet and another $160 to cut an access hole in the drywall of my bathroom. He said I could save that money if I cut the hole myself. I agreed to let him replace the faucet and I chose to cut the hole in the drywall myself. Because of the snowy weather the installation was delayed quite a few days but I was finally able to confirm an appointment with the plumber. He made the repair and the new handles function and look wonderful. The only bad thing is that it was just so darn expensive for the parts and labor. Even after the coupon I purchased it was still almost a thousand dollars.

Description of Work: We had a pipe in our kitchen burst. After having made calls to others and not hearing back from them, we remembered Angie's List and called Elite Plumbing. Our call was returned within the hour. Shawn said there would be a 5 hour wait for service (this was a Sunday afternoon). Elite was fast, clean and efficient. We had another pipe burst last year in the kitchen. Shawn recommended installing a shutoff valve to the kitchen so we can turn off the water to the kitchen and bled the lines at night during freezing weather. This way we do not have to relocate all the pipes in the kitchen saving us money. Thanks Shawn see you next week.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for an outdoor hose faucet replacement plus whole-house plumbing inspection. The service was great. He was very thorough, explained everything and the pricing was fair. I was very pleased and would definitely work with them again.

Description of Work: $49 for a plumbing service call and $100 repair credit. It was not a good Deal and they did not do what they were supposed to do.
