The Elite Service Plumber

The service was great. They were a little expensive. They were very nice and did the work. They were prompt in coming out. They did fine work. It was more expensive than I had expected to pay. I would not use them again.

They were terrific! I felt their price was reasonable. They did extra work and they were very helpful since I was not feeling well that day. The crew was polite and very clean.

I felt that the plumber was seeking to charge more than necessary for an additional job. Didn't feel exceptionally comfortable with him, and though his services were fine, I would not seek him out again.

Shawn took my call immediately after I looked up a plumbing service on Angie's List. He was polite, friendly, efficient and professional on the call. We scheduled a date several weeks in advance and Shawn indicated he would contact me the day before to re-confirm. The date was reconfirmed the day before and Shawn arrived immediately on time the next morning. When he started to work, the first question he asked was about how much trouble we must have with out disposal since the plumbing pipes were installed incorrectly. I was impressed that he noted that right away as indeed we have had several replacements since the kitchen was redone about 10 years ago. With no pressure he did provide me with an estimate and we will follow up. The scheduled work was performed flawlessly and the cleanup was complete. The price he quoted over the phone was exactly what he charged which was far more reasonable than other estimates we had receoved. We have found a "forever plumber" and will be using his services again.

He was very good and I am using him again. He was on time and very sharp and honest. I felt he was very capable of doing the job. Scheduling was good and I feel he is very trust worthy. The replacement hose faucet only took 30 minutes to do and I felt his prices are fair.

Were able to work in a visit sooner than their original estimated date to come out. Good explanation of issues and concerns; estimate provided to replace toilet and water line was $660.00. My landlord decided to have another provider do the recommended service.

Went well - they tried from roof stacks and when that didn't work, snaked from under the kitchen sink/disposal. They came same day without an emergency call out fee... Much appreciated! Spent the $49 coupon from AL, and remaining charge was $229.

Always responsive to e-mails and to calls. Not sure how he does it, but man is he very good and very prompt. Also, he in not full of hype or b.s. when it comes to explaining what items needed to be done, in my opinion. Will tell you if it needs to be done and why, or why not an immediate concern. He could have easily run up the bill, but did not. He'll be coming back next time I need a plumber. One other item: Plumbing is not cheap. Shawn's prices are not low, but they are not outrageous like some I have been quoted. His prices are reasonable and, importantly, the work gets done. You get more than what you pay for with him. And it is the OWNER that showed up, not some contract plumber he uses. Nice.

They were great in letting me know that they did service my area and told me how to receive my refund. They were also very kind in directing me to a different plumber that did service our area.

|The Elite Service Plumber owner Shawn Cowart toured our house, checking various plumbing concerns we had told him about by phone. Before he came, we had repaired a toilet. He checked that, made a small drain adjustment, discussed products and plumbing costs for possible future work, and told us what repairs we could make ourselves to save a plumber's fee. He then spotted our 19-year-old water heater (life expectancy 10-15 years) and strongly advised us to replace it before the tank bottom broke. We scheduled the work for the next week. There was no charge for this initial visit. | |The water heater installation went smoothly. At his suggestion we added a tank booster to increase the amount of hot water available instead of installing a larger tank. He applied our Angie's deal to the water heater installation. All in all, we were more than pleased by Shawn and his work. He phoned before each visit to say he was on his way, and on the first visit where he was moving throughout the house, he put on shoe covers. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and experienced.

The price seemed a little expensive. I didn't get any other quotes.I had found him through Angie's List and chose him because of the good reviews and reputation.

They were good. There were no problems. They did a good job but there was something about how it was posted. It should have been an inside faucet or something. I don't know. I guess, they'll deal with Angie's List on that. Anyway, they did what was advertised. The service was done a week or so after the deal was purchased. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They showed up when they said.

Elite Service Plumber evaluated the work that would need to be done to ensure that the outdoor faucet would not leak and the pipe leading to the outdoor faucet would not freeze in cold weather. It was determined that the indoor shutoff valve needed to be replaced, because it was located lower than the outside faucet, thus not allowing the outdoor faucet to be drained thoroughly when the indoor shutoff valve was turned off. The indoor shutoff valve was moved to a position higher than the outdoor faucet, and the indoor valve was replaced with a ball valve that is easier to turn on and off. It was tested to ensure that it worked as designed.

I called Shawn at this company during the last polar vortex because my front water pipes were leaking inside the house. He came first thing the next morning and was able to fix the pipes, however the yoke holding the meter was also bad, so he had to come back with that. When he turned the water back on, the upstairs shower faucet wouldn't shut off. He showed me how to turn the water on when I needed it, but explained that with the freezing temperature, I might want to leave it running some of the time. Then the night before last, the downstairs toilet stopped flushing and the metal was looking bad. Shawn came out this morning (after another snow storm and polar vortex) with Mike, and explained everything that they would be doing. In addition to the pipe work, they insulated and heat guarded the pipes, got my outside faucet re-done, got the shower faucets fixed and the downstairs toilet done. Since my neighbor was having similar problems with the main water pipes, she also had them come over and do the work. They were very kind and gave us both discounts. We both plan to have them come back and do more work in the spring. We were both pleased with not only their work, but with their professionalism. You would not know that they had been here and done any work as they left not one piece of insulation, or scrap pieces anywhere. The Elite Service Plumber will be doing all of our plumbing in the future. Thanks Shawn and Mike for everything you did, and especially for the nice quiet dry faucet upstairs - I'm enjoying the quiet!

The Angie's List description was deceptive, and I thought I was getting an outdoor faucet replacement. The provider already knew that the ad was wrong and honored my understanding. So, for $99.00 I was to get the outdoor faucet replaced. They called when they were delayed by icy road conditions. They also took on an extra faucet replacement and inspected my existing plumbing. Fast, efficient, professional, I will definately be using them again.

I bought this deal on Angie's list for $89. I contacted the provider and we scheduled the appointment within a couple of days. They arrived on time, fixed the leaky toilet and checked out the other bathrooms. Because the toilet needed a valve that was not included in the deal, I did pay extra for it but it did not seem unreasonable. They also showed me how to see if my well needed servicing which was new to me and quite helpful. They were professional, courteous and very efficient. I will definitely use them again when I need repairs. The owner was one of the technicians and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and clearly takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.

Shawn was extremely responsive, I purchased the angies list deal on the day when my pipe burst and was able to use the deal on the same day, excellent. Only one issue was his time keeping. Now this was the busiest plumbing disaster day in the last 5 years but it would have been nice to get a text or a call to say he was going to be late. Anyway, as soon as he arrived he got to work and had another 5 calls to do afterwards. Work was done well and they cleaned up.

They were on time, and did a great job. Tjey advised me that my hotwater heater would need to be replaced soon(it is over 10 years old).

The plumber was very courteous, prompt, and thorough. He let me know what the problem was and did not try to tack on unnecessary extra services. Will definitely use this plumber again.

Sean knows his stuff about plumbing but I think as a one man operation he is on overload. He tries to juggle his schedule to accommodate customers but he is a one man operation. He did complete the project today and did an excellent job. I had to leave a key and allow him in the condo without me, something I usually do not do. In order to get the job done he was unable to match my schedule.

They arrived early and inspected the items to repaired. They gave me their estimate and we agreed. I told them I was going out to shovel my walk and the lead gentleman took the shovel from me and shoveled my walk and then put de-icer down for me (I am reasonably sure that this was above and beyond the call of duty). Even with the stop to shovel my walk the repairs were done in less than an hour. He also alerted me to other repairs that might be needed in the future. The two gentlemen were extremely nice, personable and made sure to leave the spaces where they did repairs perfectly clean.

Over the last two months I hired the Elite Service Plumber twice, once to diagnose and fix fantom commode flushes and once (today Dec. 31) to replace my home water heater. Shawn, the plumber, completed both jobs expertly, efficiently and in a timely fashion. I could not ask for a better service. Shawn, the plumber, is a delightful, no nonsense professional. He gladly answered my questions and offered suggestions and alternatives for consideration. Oh, and for no extra charge, I got to enjoy his sense of humor :-) I will hire Shawn again soon to replace kitchen and guest bathroom faucets.

The owner, Shawn, and his assistant came exactly on time, reviewed the work plan with us and then set immediately to work. In the course of repairing the toilets, he noticed some rusting on our water tank and suggested that we replace two of the pipes that had begun to leak. We agreed that the additional work needed to be done and in one visit he solved 4 problems! He further advised us on the status of the water heater. His work was timely, professional, and very well done. His prices were reasonable as well. We would use Elite Service Plumber again and recommend their work to others.

The plumber showed up on time and was very friendly. He explained that there had been an error in the ad photo which showed an external faucet when in fact it was not for an external faucet. We discussed other options but these were more expensive than I wanted to pay. Again, the gentlemen were extremely friendly and willing to try to work something out. I would definitely call them again in the future.

Sean fit me in very quickly (within an hour or so after I called!) Very responsive. Very professional. I would highly recommend him.
