Description of Work: The dog was groomed as I asked for this time. My issue is not with the grooming it is with the owner and her business sense. One time I had an appointment and drove from Rockville to Germantown only to find the place closed, but her car was there. I called her business cell phone for the next 2 1/2 hours and got no answer. I went back there knocked on the door, dogs were barking, but no one came. I did not know if she was in there and hurt or ill, or what. I finally left after checking out the place and calling one more time. At 10 minutes before closing I called again and reached her on the cellphone. Turns out she had a sick cat and had just taken off for the vet with her assistant and the cat. I have no idea how the animals were left as she usually lets them wander around the grooming salon. Never actually apologized or realized that what she did was dangerous and wrong. Thank G-d my dog was not locked in there for who knows how long. I did continue to go to her, but I would bathe my dog and wait right outside for him as there was no trust that she would not hesitate to leave again if necessary with no backup plan. Then this time she had an ill family member and left town with only a brief message on her cell phone. I never call that as she hardly ever answers or replies to voice mail or e-mail for that matter in a prompt fashion. I had just been making my next appointment when I was leaving the current one. So I sent her an e-mail that I was not going to bathe the dog this time as I wanted her to use the medicated shampoo. I received an e-mail the next afternoon after I had already driven to Germantown in the 100+ degree heat to find the shop closed telling me she was out of town. If she had e-mail access she should have sent out a blanket e-mail to all of her clients and told them that she was unavailable for the next ten days or so and to check her phone voice mail for up dates. I know she left as an emergency , but as a business person she has a responsibility to her clients. I feel that she just does not care enough about her clients and I can not in good conscience recommend her for any future clients. I have found someone new and will not go back. I just don't want anyone to go there and be stuck like I have been more than once.

We have taken our dogs many places, but my wife and I are not comfortable anywhere, like we are at tailchasers. Cyndi went above and beyond to schedule a time, that worked for us, and she even did doggie daycare for us, while we were stuck in traffic. My dogs even get excited to get groomed, and that almost never happens. Tailchasers is highly recommended.
Description of Work: Cyndi groomed my two dogs, a schnoodle and a poodle. She also groomed my parents two bischons. Cyndi bathed the dogs, removed matts, trimmed nails, clipped and styled their hair (fur), and showed them a great time, while she did it.

The groomer, Cyndi, is a very sweet and caring woman. She will make accomodations for your pet as needed, if at all possible. We have a rescue poodle and she has handled him very gently and was even able to clean out his ears, which is something no one else has been able to accomplish. She has been on time for both appointments I have made at the salon. I will take my dog back there again and highly recommend her.
Description of Work: Cyndi has groomed my small poodle two times. He is difficult to do as he was a rescue puppy and appears to have been abused. She is extremely patient with him. He looks beautiful when we pick him up. We have also waited there and stayed with him. It is a small business and the groomer handles the dog from the beginning to the end of the appointment.
