I can't say enough how responsive and what a wonderful job that McConnell Heating did to fix our humidifier. I called on a late Saturday afternoon, and they provided suggestions over the phone for how to stop the leak immediately (which was so helpful) and they were kind enough to come fix the humidifier that same day. They identified the problem immediately, installed a new part to address the issue, and even installed a valve to allow me to shut off the water pipe to the humidifier (old one no longer work, and they installed a new one). They were great. And I plan to use them for all future HVAC needs.

First, this is the ONLY HVAC company we use. I called them up as it was that time a year again for our spring/summer routine maintenance appointment. Shawn was here within a couple of days, on time as usual and checked the system. Shawn explained we were a little low on Freon. He mentioned we would probably be good for the summer however I am not one to take that chance and since he was already there asked him to go ahead and fill it up!

Shawn came out quickly. As usual, he put on and quot;bootiesand quot; before he entered our house. Quickly and professional diagnosed a faulty gas solenoid. Because he wasn't and quot; 100% sureand quot; promised to refund cost if that didn't completely solve the problem. So far, it has worked just fine. I've used Shawn McConnell for about 3 years and have always been very pleased with his responses, professionalism and and lt; mostly, his prices.

McConnell Heating and A/C is exactly the type of company I love to work with. They are experts in their field and take responsibility for their work. We initially found them after moving into a new house. The original 1980s system had been previously serviced by them and so we called when we had a problem. They took care of the issues. When we later decided to replace with a new, more efficient system, I called several larger companies for estimates. McConnell's estimate was very competitive and I knew they would take better care of us. With smaller providers, sometimes scheduling can be an issue, but I've never had any issue with McConnell. Even when we've needed service at the worst time - like in the middle of a heat wave - they managed to fit us in. Highly recommend.

I requested Shawn McConnell (the proprietor) to thoroughly inspect the HVACin my home in an effort to track down a mechanical problem that has plagued this system for years. Installed by another company only three years prior, it has needed major repairs each summer season. Shawn was extremely thorough and found several problems with the installation, together with a cracked coil and oil leak. He documented the problems so well that the original system provider was very impressed with his anaylsis. I now have the information I need to see that problems with the system are corrected in accordance with my warranty and the manufacturer's specifications. In the future, I plan to have McConnell Heating and Air service the systems.

We use them for different things all the time. Shawn, the owner worked for a different company and he just started his own and we just stuck with him. We always used him, when he was working for the previous company we were using. We use him for our home and all our rental properties. The motor had to be a special order because it was a Trane motor and it was for an old furnace. So he did attempt to just change the wheel because it was a problem with the wheel in the motor but one can't just buy the wheel, one has to buy the whole motor. He is trustworthy and I trust him in my home alone. If he is working on something, I have no problems leaving the house because I know everything will be fine. He explains everything. He inspects and gives me options. He lets me know what would last longer, what would last for a few years, and what would happen eventually if we don't get something done. We have him do our yearly maintenance for A/C and heating for every year, on all our properties. Shawn is always on time and he is very reasonable. He even came out on a Sunday afternoon, after church because we didn't have heat. I don't know if part of that is because we are loyal customers but one does not find that too often, and if one does, it is an extra charge for emergencies. I will always use him in the future.
