DAPHNE'S CLEANING SERVICE LLC

The company scheduled 2 appointments for me without checking first or paying attention to the dates and times I requested. I caught the first appointment and cancelled it and was told I would be called to reschedule. Instead, workers arrived at my house at a time that I wasn't home and they had to be turned away. The company said I agreed to that time but had never been informed that the appointment had been made or would have told them that I was at work on Monday afternoons! The person I spoke with was rude and disrespectful of both me and his workers.

Three women came and cleaned for two hours. They used the products that I requested that they use. They were very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. They did a very thorough job and I plan to schedule future appointments. My main complaint was that they were quite late. In the future, I would request that somebody call me to let me know that they are running behind. Nevertheless, they did a great job.

The service was very good and I was very pleased.

I liked the fact that the ladies greeted us and told us their names upon entering the house. They brought all of the equipment needed to do their job. They had two vaccume cleaners and a huge bag of cloth cleaning rags. They cleaned my living room, dining room, bed room, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. They were very thourough in their cleaning; so much so that my Mother-in-law even said that they did a good job - and she is a tough customer. The house looked fresh and clean when they finished and whatever cleaners they used left a pleasant smell in the house. I would recommend Daphne's cleaning and think that they were an excellent company to do business with.

Daphne's crew got here on time and were very efficient. I showed them the areas to be cleaned and they went to work immediately. They were very thorough: they vacuumed, cleaned all bedrooms and laid beds, dusted/cleaned window blinds, scrubbed the bathrooms and left the kitchen spotless. I would definitely use them again!

Daphne's cleaners did a truly exceptional job. They were very thorough in fully cleaning all areas requested, paid attention to every detail and were pleasant, flexible, very professional. They beat expectations! The areas to be cleaned had been long neglected. They took on the challenge in an exemplary way. The price was a bit higher than expected, but that does not diminish the really exemplary quality of the work and great attention to detail.

I have a large house and from the time these ladies showed up to the time they left, they all worked amazingly hard to make my house shine. They had great attitudes and much deserved tips! Lenin was on target in communicating with me on price and time. Thank You! See you in two weeks : )

They were okay. They were responsive and the cleaning was okay. However, did miss some areas, and they also charged me $255 when they told me it was going to be $250.

Bathrooms were cleaned well including shower walls. Dusting done throughout the house including pictures and blinds. Bed was stripped an made. Hardwood floors were cleaned with Murphy oil. Provider used his own cleaning supplies and equipment. I was very satisfied with this service.

After reading the reviews, i decided to bring in this cleaning provider. They offered by phone a deep cleaning service as the initial cleaning and price was good. On the original scheduled date, I left work to let them in but noone arrived. After ten minutes later, I called Lenin and he said he heard from his people they are stuck in DC traffic. 1) He should have called me right away so I didn't have to leave work early and 2) he was not sincere about the inconvenience he has caused. We agreed that the cleaners will come over the next day. They arrived, and worked on the upstairs for 2 hours which was really good. Then it was getting late for them they did a quick wipe on the main floor and you can still see dust and you can tell the floors were not cleaned properly. The cleaners couldn't clean the entire house but expected full pay. I spoke to Lenin and he was not very customer friendly oriented person. I decided not to use them for my routine service since they did not do what they said they would. The cleaners were somewhat rude and showed their irritation on how long the initial cleaning is taking them. They took a total of 3 hours. I expected more due to the great reviews. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL

Cleaned the kitchen including cabinets and refrigerator. Cleaned both bathrooms. Wiped down baseboards in all the rooms. They did a good job. I won't be using them again only because I hired them for the one time moving in cleaning. Mopped all of the laminate floors.

This company is always very responsive. I can text them if I need to contact them to cancel or reschedule or request something specific and they always respond back right away. They are very friendly and do a good job. They come every other week for maintenance cleaning and I have had them do a deep clean before. They often go above and beyond what I expect of them.

I moved in about a year ago. Since that time I've run into some health issues so the housework got ahead of me. Lenin responded to my email very promptly. They did a walk through the next day and we made an appointment for today. They did an amazing job with my home. Everything was done! Everything!!! Even the dishes in my sink. I did not expect that! They left no stone unturned. Lenin called me before they left to see if I wanted them to take my trash to the dump or if I wanted them to leave for me to take out. When I asked them to take it he readily agreed. I will definitely have them back and highly recommend them! I have cats and they were very good with them when they came for the walk through. They treated them as if they were their own. I can't thank them enough for helping me with my cleaning.

I called the owner, he picked up the phone immediately. At night, he came to my house on time to estimate the price of the total cleaning fee. The two ladies came to my house to do cleaning on time. They did excellent job. I highly remommended you to try this nice companies--nice owner, good employees.

They are reliable and trustworthy -- perhaps the most important. But I did not think the cleaning was thorough and felt they prioritize efficiency over thoroughness. They (husband and wife) always cleaned the house (DC row house, 3 levels, 4 small bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full kitchen, DR, LR, entryway) in fewer than 90 minutes. Common missed areas: under furniture, under rugs, dusting, bathrooms only superficially cleaned. I ended up moving to another service provider.

They are a very polite, friendly, and professional couple. When they needed to push the schedule back slightly, they called well in advance to let me know. They showed up at the door right on time and did a great job. They are very efficient and well-coordinated, so they got the whole job done quickly and thoroughly. They paid great attention to detail, including cleaning all the windows both inside and out, along with the window tracks and sliding door tracks. The carpets looked so good after they vacuumed that I changed my mind about having them professionally cleaned. I really liked their work and appreciated all their effort and attention to detail. I would recommend to them to all of my friends and family.

Very professional initial conversation that took place over the weekend -- responsive, informative, and efficient. Cleaning crew was courteous, good, and friendly. Accepts credit cards, which is very convenient. Good quality work for initial cleaning.

They were very responsive. They came with one day notice right before the holidays. They were very professional and easy to work with.

Everything went like clockwork. They were on time, professional, friendly and very accomodating to my busy schedule. They even did the move-out cleaning on a Sunday! Work was fabulous and reminded me of GI parties in the military. Price included carpets in the apartment and they came out like new. I guess you could say I was satisfied!

Very friendly husband and wife team. Will accommodate to to your needs. Cleaning results were average at best. The house often was left with a strong smell of chemicals for several hours after cleaning. I could hardly breathe, though it could just be my sensitivity to strong smells. They use pine sol and other cheap cleaners. Many spots overlooked windowsills, corners, cobwebs, bathroom shelves were left untouched. I let it go at first thinking it was just this once, but since it continued each time I was feeling frustrated. One weekend, days after my last cleaning, I moved a chair and basket from 2 opposite corners of my dining room and found thick layers of dust in each area. Gross! That was it for me. I notified them the next week of the oversights and was given apologies and 50% off my next cleaning. Its just not acceptable for a cleaning service to overlook so much. I do not recommend. I really was hopeful given the reviews here on Angies List. Now my search continues...

They do a great job! When I walk in the door, it just feels "clean." They are very nice and professional. I am currently not thrilled with the day my house is cleaned (Tuesday) but I'm a bit of a drive for them, so I work with their schedule. It's a higher price than I'd like to pay, but they do a really nice job so I guess I can't complain. I will continue to use them for as long as I can afford to do, and I would recommend them to friends.

I continue to be very impressed. Another update I wanted to make is that although the one-time cleaning cost a little more than I had been accustomed to paying, as indicated in the review, the price for the regular cleaning, which includes a 10% senior discount, ended up being slightly *less* than I had paid before. And the quality of their work is actually better than I had before. So I remain very pleased with their work and recommend them to others.

I really wanted to like this company because I am looking for someone to do a monthly cleaning of my house. I always try to patronize family owned businesses and I have never had to write a bad review of an Angie's List company, but here goes. They arrived early, introduced themselves, were friendly and carried themselves in a professional manner. I stated again that I had already done the grunt work inside the kitchen cabinets and linen closets and they should not worry about that. I showed them the window sills and tracks that I wanted cleaned. I have gliding windows and it appeared that the previous owner had not cleaned the corners of the tracks in some time. Lenin was not as reassuring as he'd been on the phone but said they would vacuum and wipe the window tracks and clean all the sills. They worked very quickly, almost rushing, and did a pretty fair surface clean of my house. They did an excellent job vacuuming the upstairs carpet and stairs but that was as far as the "deep" element reached. They did not clean the window tracks as promised, they didn't clean some (any?) of the blinds, they didn't do cobwebs, and missed some of the window sills. They didn't even try when I asked if they would go back a clean a particular part of the grout in the master bathroom, saying it would only come clean after I cleaned it repeatedly myself. For the record, before writing this review I was able to get it clean myself the next day with the proper products and a little elbow grease. An excellent job was done on the front of the stainless kitchen appliances but food bits were left in the corners inside the microwave, and they left a 3 inch scratch and dent in the front of my stainless range(!) The door to the basement was open when they arrived so they could see the way down but they closed the door and pretended that level didn't exist. By this time I was annoyed and wanted them gone. I gave them every opportunity to lower my charges by asking what I owed before writing the check, since they didn't even go onto the third level, but they charged me the full price quoted for a "deep" clean of a 3 level home. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company and I will never hire them again.
