It was quite a bit of money. They did good work. The price was on the high side, but you pay for what you get.

Rob was prompt, courteous, and effective. One of the shut-off valves merely needed tightening while another was corroded and needed to be replaced. Pricing was time & materials which was appropriate for the work performed. I will definitely call Stang Plumbing again for future work on the house.

I called Stang plumbing after the pipes under the sink came lose spilling the contents of the disposal onto the floor, the response time was almost immediate and professional. Installation of all new plumbing under the sink was completed within in a half hour. The technician was on time, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

I liked the fellow that they sent out - he was good. He came when he said he was going to come and took all the debris away; he did not leave me with anything that I needed to dispose of. The work turned out fine. Their recommendations were good. We talked to them about what we wanted, and they recommended the water heater that they felt would be best for us; they were good about that. I did not do a lot of comparative shopping, so I don?t know how their price would compare with other providers. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We have used Stang previously and have always been pleased with their service and professionalism. We called about the leaks and they were able to come out the next day. The plumber that came quickly replaced the section of pipe with the leak and explained what would be involved in replacing the water heater, there having been some changes to the code since the last one was installed. After a little preparation on our part we were again able to easily schedule the replacement of the water heater. The team arrived right on time, as usual and went to work with the replacement. They also took the time to verify compliance with the code over the whole installation and conveniently let me work with their office to schedule the WSSC inspection. The team finished quickly and cleaning, and with everything done "right and tight".

The plumber spent a lot of time talking to me, and telling me that my sink was leaking, which I already knew. He didn't have the part for the toilet flush handle in his supposedly fully equipped plumbing truck, so he had to go get it from a plumbing supply place. In the end, I spent nearly $500 to get two screws tightened in my shower and the toilet "fixed" (it now runs constantly, which it didn't before the "repair"). When I called Stang to complain, they told me that was just how much plumbing cost. I would never use these people again. Overpriced and under-skilled.

Receptionist was very helpful including providing details on the product to be installed. Workers came the same day as the request was made and completed the installation that day. The workers were professional; completed all necessary work; and completely cleaned up afterward.

We?ve done a lot of work with them. The faucet was special-ordered, and they were able to get it at a reasonable price. The plumbers always come out quickly, fix the issue the first time, and at a reasonable price. They don't have to have multiple visits. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.

They did a wonderful job. I would recommend them to anybody. 1.04 The work was not easy and they were meticulous. It required a lot of work, and they could've made a big deal out of it. There were two people who did the work. They gave me reassurance. We were in a townhouse unit, and we had to go behind the furnace. They were experienced, and we felt comfortable having them in our house. In addition to the hot water heater, we ordered a new laundry tub from them. There was a crack in it, and they had not even opened it. It was a very tiny crack that would have spread. We would not have noticed it, but they took it right back and said they would inspect the next one at the office before bringing it. I thought that was top-notch service.

They were prompt. They gave a detailed inspection and spent a lot of time on the inspection. They were very thorough.

They were very responsive, they came out within 2 hours. The plumber was very pleasant and knowledgeable and he worked very quickly.

Overall it was a great experience. The office staff was friendly and helpful, the scheduling was flexible and the technician did a great job in a very reasonable amount of time. The job was completed on schedule and for a very fair price. I would highly recommend Stang Plumbing.

I broke valve late in the evening on the 16th. Called Stang answering service at about 11pm on Thurs. By 715 the next morning had not received a call back. I called them and the actual Stang staff fit me in for a cancellation that had occurred right before I called. Sean showed up, took about 30 minutes. Quick, professional, quality job.

The first time the leaked occurred they came in and completed the work in 35 minutes and charged us $165 for the full hour. The toilet started to leak a month later from the same place and we called them in again. They charged ANOTHER $165 for doing some caulking around the base (something they should have done on the first visit). I mean c'mon you when you fix something, fix it right the first time! Don't double charge you customers. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS AND DO NOT USE. They WILL overcharge you.

The representative showed up on time and performed the service. Two BIG problems I had with the service. 1) Charged $300 to assess the damage. Nobody had mentioned to us that there was a cost involved prior to the inspection. 2) We waited for weeks before receiving an estimate from them for repairs, and it was a lot more than what we expected based on our initial conversation.

1. Installation of sink went well. However, once the technician said that the work was completed, he took another ten minutes (longer than I thought it should) to complete bill, which cost me another $40. I would think that once the work was completed, the clock stops. 2. I called around 3PM on a weekday to have my kitchen drain cleared. The first thing the person answering the phone said was that it may require overtime. I promptly said that I will not pay overtime and will call another plumber. Instantly, there seemed to be a plumber available without overtime. I was told that the first hour was $164. The plumber arrived around 4PM. The job took less that 1 hour but I was charged $179, an extra $15 for "shop supplies", which I was told that everyone pays. I should have been told this when given the quote. So, while the quality of work was fine, I would not recommend this compny due to their questionable business practices.

The story here is one of a company that "made it right". The first plumber reparied the toilet water supply line without issue, but his attempts to get the hose bib to stop leaking were fruitless. After he left, I called Stangs and expressed my frustration and disappointment - that's a lot of money to spend and not have the problems fixed. They arranged to have a different gentleman come over a few days later who fixed the problem without difficulty or charge. Stangs clearly was concerned that we be 100% satisfied with their work and was willing to do what it took to make it right... and followed through.

They damaged tile, did not return phone calls. Update 10/15/2012: Each person that came out told me something different. They did not return calls, estimate was wrong, service was poor, and they were very unprofessional. I would never use them again. They cracked the tile and would not repair it.

I had good interactions with the company. The plumber that they sent told me that the shower didn't leak, but after he left, we turned i on, and it did. I should have called them back, but didn't have time. I'm sure they would have come back out to fix the leak. Overall, they were courteous and prompt.

The plumber, Rob, was on time, he answered my questions, clearly had experience, and he cleaned up after himself. I plan to use Stang for future plumbing projects.

The person arrived on time and performed the request work in less than 40 minutes.

We were first call that day, and the plumber was right on time. After assessing the situation, he told me exactly what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost. He used shoe covers, was polite to me and my children, and worked in an efficient manner. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience!

They were ok but they were not the best. They said they were done and I got charged for something I should not have. They wanted to do something on overtime and I refused but then all of a sudden they could find someone who would do it on regular time.

They technician was on time and correctly diagnosed the problem. The work was completed well.
