A sewer pipe from an upstairs bathroom had cracked and was discharging water into the basement. Jeff, from Mallick Plumbing, came out and replaced the pipe. The cost of the labor and materials was reasonable. This was our second good experience with them.

Plummer quiet,courteous and efficient! Had disposal fixed and gave estimate for replacing two toilets in 1/2 hr. Saved me price of new disposal. I am very pleased! Thank you ?

Master Plumber Bob and young assistant Lance were very professional and understood what the problem was right away without much explanation. They also had the needed materials in their truck and proper tools to use, making their movements efficient and effective. They did a great job without wasting any time and cleaned up the work areas afterwards. Since the fee was based on an a per hour basis, their expertise and efficiency cut down the cost of the job!They were very courteous, considerate and respectful- they even put on shoe covers before coming inside the house! They were also recommended by my Heating/AC provider. They have a good reputation and deserve it! I will use them again in the future!

Very professional. Took the call after hours at the beginning of a holiday weekend with a great attitude. Gave an estimate up front that was accurate. Cleared the blockage and left the kitchen clean after the job. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

We had a recurring problem of clogs in the bathroom plumbing system. The technician assessed the situation and unclogged the system twice. He also scoped the entire system with a camera. Finally, the company ordered a new toilet that they recommended and installed it. So far, no more clogging. If we ever have any other plumbing problems, we'll call them again. We've also recommended them to others.

Our kitchen sink was clogged but the problem was in the drain that ran under our basement floor. The amount of work that they had to do, their charges were quite reasonable.

Master plumber Bob arrived right on time at the beginning of the scheduled arrival time window. He worked diligently to complete all the repair work requested. He was professional and courteous at all times, cleaned up and swept the work area afterwards, actually leaving the area cleaner than it was when he arrived. He explained the work completed and patiently answered all my questions. The work took longer than I had thought it would, but I didn't realize beforehand how much work would be involved such as cutting pipes and welding. The cost was also somewhat higher than I had expected, but it was well worth it as previously my old shutoff valves would not turn at all - they had to be fixed. Should there have been a major leak in which I would have needed to turn off the water to the house, it would have been a disaster! I highly recommend Mallick Plumbing and especially Bob to other Angie's List members. He is a great plumber and gets the job done right.

I was referred to Mallick by an individual plumber who used to work for his family business and now works for Mallick. I had used this individual many times over the years and found him to be extremely competent and honest. In addition, I looked on Angie?s list and noted that Mallick had an A rating, so I decided to proceed with hiring Mallick for a problem in one of my rental houses. They came out twice and really worked hard at trying to unclog a drain. The clog was at least ten feet deep into the pipe. They diagnosed that the 60 year old drain pipe had collapsed and needed to be replaced. Within one work day and in extreme cold temperature, they had equipment out to the site, dug about a seven foot deep trench from the house to the sidewalk, replaced the pipe and had the plumbing completely functional by the end of the day. They had to leave the work open but covered so that the city of Rockville could inspect two days later. They then came back, backfilled, graded and put straw over the area. They left the area very clean and tidy. In addition, they said they would return in three weeks to re-grade as they anticipate that the dirt will settle. I didn?t even ask for this, they just volunteered it as they knew from experience it was the right thing to do. In short, they were honest, knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly in very frigid conditions. And everyone I talked with was pleasant and informative. I can?t say enough good things about this company and its staff.

Called on 9/3 and wanted to schedule for the next day. They were very friendly, professional & accommodating. Frank arrived as scheduled the next morning. We discussed the problem first and Frank asked some questions & recommended the best way to solve the problem. He pulled the Basement toilet and snaked the line to the septic tank where he found a stoppage about 60 feet along the way where he found some small roots had grown into the line. He cleared the line, he ran the washing machine through a wash & rinse cycle to test and all was clear, no problems. He put the toilet back in place, cleaned up any mess he'd created & gave me my bill which I paid. Frank was on his way to the next call & my problem was solved!

They called up the morning of the installation date and said that a tech had called in sick. They wanted to delay the install by 4 days. I said that we we needed the hot water that day, which is why I had agreed to the date. They said that they could come later that night but would "have" to charge me "overtime". I told them not to bother and therby forfeited the $130. I called a private plumber who came that afternoon and installed the heater for half the price quoted by Mallick. I works great.

We didn't end up using their service but when we called for what we thought was a bad well pump they were very responsive. Were here within an hour, were very professional, and we would use them in the future.

They did a great job. Dependable and happy to answer any of the many questions we had!

The plumber arrived on time and replaced our main water shut off valve quickly and cleanly. We were having loud noises coming from our water heater and the plumber stated that replacement was probably necessary, but flushing it could possibly work. The flushing did not solve the issue. I guess a new water heater is in order!

Fair and honest company, highly recommend.

I contacted the company on Saturday via their email link on Angies list to request a quote for the toilet replacement. I then received an email on Tuesday asking me the "rough in" for the toilet. I emailed back the same day and received the quote on Thursday night. In all it took 5 days to obtain the quote. For this job I received 9 different quotes, all of which are from "super service providers" as they were easy to get because of the email link provided by Angies List. My experience with this company was disappointing. First, their price of $795 was more than $200 more than the highest quote I received. I emailed them to let them know in case they made a mistake. Their response was that they provide better service than competitors. What they didn't realize was that my other quotes were from 8 other angies list super service providers. I have trouble believing that they are so much better than the 8 other super service providers to justify a 33 percent price premium. In addition, I recieved all of the other quotes within 48 hours of submission, while they took 5 days. Is that better service than the 8 other super service providers? Clearly no. I don't plan to use this company in the future. And if you are looking for a competitive price, I would use one of the other super service providers.

They did a great job, they did it wonderfully, and we are very happy about their service. We chose them because we saw that they have high ratings on Angie's List and we are very pleased. They charged per hour.

The guys were right on time, extremely helpful, respectful and competent. Since this was for a second estimate, they were also respectful of the previous plumber and worked to find a solution that would help me immediately and in the future.

Mallick sent somebody over a few days before the job to get a look at situation. He helpfully answered a few questions that I had about this job and another potential gas installation. Somebody else from Mallick showed up to do the work and they were very professional. They completed the job in a few hours and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't tell that they had even been there, except for the complete installation.

The technician arrived early, was very personable and helpful. Took care of shutting off the gas line and then looked at a plumbing problem we had. Gave us some helpful advice on how to fix it ourselves at a fraction of the cost.

There is never a good time to have a problem and a plumbing problem is the worst. When I called in for service I was not made to feel like "I" was interrupting; even told thank you for calling. The repair man stood at my door to place "booties" over his well worn shoes before entering. Wow... His truck was stocked well and the repair was completed in a reasonable amount of time. My kids kept interrupting the process or the repairs would have been done sooner. He even handled the kids great! When he left I as glad I called Mallick. Money well spent. Thank you!

It was an hours-long process, but the serviceman was patient and diligent and very personable.

I noticed our toilet was leaking before going on a trip and I had called Mallick to see if they could come over right after our trip. They were able to come over when we needed them. The plumber removed the toilet and found that a piece at the bottom had cracked and was able to replace it. This is the second time I've used them and they don't make you pay an extra fee just to come over. They are very good with scheduling and are able to come quickly.
