Description of Work: I contacted this provider twice through the Angieslist email. The first time I asked if someone could give me a quote to install gutter guards. No response. About a week later (which is now about two weeks ago), I sent an email asking if they were interested in providing any services to me. No response as of this writing. Perhaps they are out of business?

Description of Work: They were very nice and fantastic. They came out on a Saturday. We were having a horrible time getting our gutters cleaned so we decided it would be a good idea to have them come out to perform service on the gutters. They did a good job.

Description of Work: We had 58 feet of gutter glove pro gutter guards installed. The price included product and installation. This was a savings of $360.00 due to an Angie's List special, Brian was very helpful and responsive. Softly after installation, there was excessive dripping during a heavy rainstorm. When I called and asked them to check it out, they asked me to take a photo, which was a bit of a pain, but I took a photo and video, emailed it to them, and they came out shortly afterwards and corrected the problem by adding additional sealant. So far, so good. Debris seems to sit on top but this has not caused any problems as it blows off. No overflowing even w/Sandy.

Description of Work: I called for a gutterglove installation and when I heard back from the owner, Brian he told that me that he needed to have all homeowners present for the estimate. When I indicated that this did not work with me due to my schedule and that I made all of the decisions regarding home maintenance and repair purchases anyway, he replied that was how his company operates. MAJOR RED FLAG. I felt very pressured to go along with his company's policy and frankly this infuriated me as the last time I was told this kind of thing, I was being sold on time share vacation property. The owner became defensive and I angrily replied that I had plenty of money to pay for any and all home purchases. I started to tell him that this practice was anti-consumer and high pressure sales nonsense. It should have been very clear from my repeated opposition to his company' demand to have all homeowners present (my wife is not interested in home improvement tasks) but he persisted as if I was the one with the problem. I replied that his behavior would be reported to consumer services groups like AL. At this point he finally and defensively stated he could have the estimate done with just myself....and I started to tell him what I thought of his business practices. He interrupted me to say, "Are you going to lecture me or get any work done". Feeling so duped and pressured, I said, "I'm going to give you a lecture". We hung up at that point. No fault there... Brian called back moments later to offer the lowest price if I would not publish a review. Wow! How about apologizing for such anti-consumer behavior and interrupting me. Clearly he was going to do that. The product is, I'm sure, among the best gutter covering product on the market and their installation may be competent, but if the initial sales/estimate practices so rigid and disrespectful of prospective customers, why would a consumer feel comfortable using this business? Nobody wants to feel pressured against their will. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for gutter guard products until Gutterglove renounces this shiesty practice and apologizes for needlessly pressuring me and other consumers into accepting their terms.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt and professional in installing the gutter cover. We have a very steep roof over parts of the house and you could see a waterfall every time there was medium to heavy rain. Since they installed it, there had been a couple real heavy rains and the Gutterglove cover has worked perfectly. We no longer have waterfalls at various places around the house. A week before the scheduled installation, we decided to replace our gutter as well. We talked to Brian about his change and asked if they could install the gutter for us. They don't do gutter installation but he recommended J and J Gutters. J and J was very responsive and Brian was flexible with schedule and they coordinated to install both according to the original schedule. We have been very happy with both services and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They replaced gutters. The experience was just fine. It’s only been in place for a couple of months (if that). We’ve had a few decent rainstorms and everything seems to be working properly. Their price was competitive.

+ -1 moreI had been thinking about getting gutter guards when I saw the Angie's List Big Deal with Gutterglove. I signed up the morning of May 1st and heard from Brian at Gutterglove that afternoon. He had a cancellation for the next day and I took the spot. All he needed were the measurements and a deposit. The two man crew arrived before 9am the next morning and completed 121 feet of gutter covers in about 5 hours. The only glitch was that the measurement provided by the workers was 9 feet above mine. I knew the tape measurement done by my wife and I was not off that much. When I brought up the difference with Brian he simply asked me to remeasure. When my second measure came within a foot of the first one, Brian accepted my measure with no further question. (It wasn't that complicated a measurement.) I'm very satisfied with how well the whole process went. I will only know whether the product lives up to expectations after a few years but it has good recommendations.

+ -1 moreI called Gutterglove of Potomac for an estimate. After giving Brian the approximate footage, he gave me an estimate & an approximate date that the work could be done. I told him that I would call the other rep in MD for a quote & he did not pressure me. I called Eric on Baltimore Ave twice & he did not return my call. The third time he said he would look up a satellite photo & email me a quote. I never heard from him again. Also noted his treatment of other customers on Angie's List. So obviously I called Brian back & was extremely pleased with his professionalism & the work. He emailed me a contract, answered any questions, emailed me the warranty when asked & set up the date agreeing to send the workers early so I could leave the house by a certain time. Workers arrived right on time & did an outstanding job. They cleaned out the gutters beforehand, installed the guards, caulked, & then cut edges for the sides & cleaned up the mess. The gutters have worked perfectly! Gutterglove is expensive, but the reviews made it seem as if these are the only guards that really work with the variety of seeds that get in my gutters.
