Description of Work: I called Academy Locksmith on a Friday and asked if they could come out the next day to change my front door lock. It was a last minute request, and the locksmith had no problem coming out, and even fixed an extra lock for me, and all within a short time frame. And, I couldn't beat the price!

 + -1 moreIt was easy to set up the appointment. They asked me how I heard about them, so that was good, since I forgot to mention Angie's List in the initial phone call. Glad they thought of that! Not a very talkative bunch, which quite possibly some people may like. Just came in, did the work, billed us and departed. If you are in a hurry, you may need to let them know. It wasn't the quickest job - took 2-3 hours. Not much else to it. It was a bit pricey (even with AL discount), but good work.
Description of Work: We bought a new house - this provider rekeyed all locks in the house.

Description of Work: Door to second bedroom wouldn't open. There was no obvious way to unlock it and the hinges were inside the room. The locksmith came out in bad weather and removed the door handle and manipulated the mechanism to open the door.

When he came later that afternoon at the exact time we had discussed he was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The locksmith didn't take up too much of my time, the lock looks great and I feel safe n my home. I would deffinatly call him again.
